Apartment vacation rentals in Sacramento River

While we only stayed there for one night, we really enjoyed it. Jodi was a great host. Super responsive with any questions we had. The place was very nice. Clearly recently remodeled. Super clean. My kids especially loved the pool table. And, it was a short ride to Downtown Grass Valley or Nevada City. Would definitely stay again.

I’m a repeat customer and hopefully will return again in December. I don’t want to stay anywhere else.

Top Story is top-notch. Really well equipped kitchen with thoughtful extras like a Keurig coffee machine and pods and compostable plastic ziplocks for your picnic lunches. Comfortable beds. Fine wi-fi. Well-stocked bathroom (although the shower is a bit small). Nice design sense. The little touches like home-made baked goods and a welcome basket are definitely a plus. Wendy was both very pleasant and responsive. Would definitely chose Top Story for a Loyalton stay.

Bo’s place was very comfortable. I felt right at home. I will definitely be back.

We needed a comfortable place for a quick overnight stop in Sacramento, and this stay was just what we were looking for. The home was quiet and cozy—perfect for resting before continuing our journey. The host was exceptionally kind and went out of their way to assist us with parking, which can be a bit limited in the area. Although we were too tired to explore the neighborhood, we appreciated the thoughtful local recommendations and hope to return someday to check them out. Thank you for being such a welcoming host! A great return visit to La Paz! The upgrades are nice and the location is awesome! Everything is as described. Good communication, easy check in and easy parking. Quick walk to town and even quicker to the beach. One of my favorite rentals in Stinson. Highly recommend!

The best deal of a place ever, the cost was unbelievable and place was stocked with some food, towels, and a great air conditioner which was crucial. Super clean and great host as well

This was our second stay with Merry. A perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! She is a wonderful host and her property is lovely! Proximity to downtown makes it a nice short walk to shops, bars, and restaurants. Deer Creek trail is a short hike as well and a beautiful experience. We told Merry we were going to a concert in the park and she provided us with folding chairs, which made our experience perfect! We visit NV City a couple of times each year and Merry's Garden Suite is our new favorite!

Modern interior despite traditional exterior. Great to have a private parking spot. Nice neighborhood with lots of local restaurants. Tim is very responsive and helpful - great guidebook for local adventures and eateries!

Penny’s place was the perfect peaceful getaway. The space was cozy and comfortable. Penny was incredibly kind and responsive, making everything smooth and stress-free. You can really feel the care she puts into hosting. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil escape.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer and Eric's place. We felt right at home the minute we stepped through the door. The layout of the apartment made the bedrooms very private and quiet with a comfortable living room, kitchen, and dining room area. The huge deck provided a lot of outdoor space. Jennifer and Eric live on the property so we saw them periodically. They were friendly and respectful our space and time. The house is located right off of I-80, so it was quick and easy to get to Auburn and other destinations. We had a few questions during our 10 day stay and Jennifer was exceptionally quick in responding. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in the area.

I absolutely love staying in Anthony & Ava’s home. It’s beautiful, clean, and I love the layout of their apartment, it’s a quiet neighborhood, all the neighbors are very friendly and always have good recommendations for whatever you would like to do.

Great hidden gem on the property of Up Valley Inn. Nicely decorated and a great option for anyone looking for an option with a kitchen. Nice easy and close walk to downtown Calistoga including restaurants, bars, shops and spas! Would absolutely recommend!

We had a great stay at Jillian’s place in Walnut Creek. The location was convenient, and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jillian was a responsive host, making our visit smooth and enjoyable. We’d definitely recommend staying here!

Great spot to stay during bottlerock. 45 minute drive/or ride to Napa/festival. Nice covered parking spot. Very cozy quarters. Private patio was a nice touch.

Staying with Danny & Joanie was like staying with old friends. Communication was quick, clear, friendly & welcoming. Close to town feeling worlds away. Their place was as described. The pictures cannot encompass the serenity or breathtaking beauty of the panoramic views from the large deck. The swimming hole was absolutely amazing! They had numerous sitting areas by the water & it was exquisitely peaceful. The water was so refreshing on a warm summer day & the waterfalls & pools were simply gorgeous. That swim was certainly one of the highlights of our journey, as was meeting Danny & Joanie. They were so kind & thoughtful, making sure all our needs were met without ever being intrusive. The bed & couch were comfy. The kitchen & bathroom had all the essentials along with many little touches like flashlights by each bedside. We enjoyed meals out on the expansive deck. We left refreshed & feeling we had 2 new, wonderful friends. We highly recommend their place for a comfy & relaxing stay.

Wow what a charming place in a beautiful town. Nice to get away from the city but still be close to all the things you love!

Another great stay at Stew's place. I highly recommend. It is off a busy highway, but you wouldn't know it because it is secluded down below the businesses and is very private and quiet. Everything was very clean and lots to do with movies and games for the kids. The hot tub was so nice. It was very cool in the morning so that is a great way to warm up under the canopy of pine trees that surround the back deck. Definitely will be back for another stay.

Great location and very comfortable space. The kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils to make cooking easy. There's a dedicated parking spot right in front of the unit, if you have a tall or long vehicle like a truck it might not fit in the spot and there are limited uncovered spaces to park. The AC is in the living room and doesn't get back to the bedroom very well which isn't a problem unless it's a really hot day. There was one day that was 90°F and the bedroom didn't cool off. The living room and couch are comfortable and a nice spot to unwind.

#2 One of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at! Peggy was a gracious and thoughtful host—she greeted us on arrival, showed us around, and stayed in touch throughout our stay. We brought our puppy and arranged a sitter for the wedding weekend, but Peggy even helped cover a gap and let our pup play with her dog when the sitter had to run out. The fenced yard, private entrance, and peaceful setting made it the most dog-friendly trip we’ve ever had. The home was spotless, the bed and couch were super comfy, and we loved relaxing in the hot tub and on the patio. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the location couldn’t be better—an easy 10-minute walk into charming downtown Nevada City for dinner and breakfast. 10/10—would absolutely stay again!
