Jing Yee's place truly felt like home. She was so thoughtful with providing all the amenities, even stocking up with snacks and drinks. The room set up was just nice, we were 2 couples so the 2 double beds was perfect. Her place was complete with all the amenities you could ask for, but the best surprise was the coffee machine - she even prepared grinded coffee beans which we used for our morning coffees. Besides the place, Jing Yee as a host was so understanding and did the most to accommodate our requests. Highly recommended stay, we were so well recharged after a nights stay here.

Without a car it is impossible to do anything

I could enjoy my holiday thanks to the perfect house. The view was great from the balcony and roof top. And the pool was good to relax my mind and body. The house was clean and has everything I need to stay over a week. I want to stay again.

It was a Cousy and spacious place for a group of 8-9 paxs. With huge bathrooms,hall and dinning. We had a wonderful stay

The host and Gary are very warm, meticulous, responsive, responsive, the room is clean and tidy, the bed sheets and bath towels are very clean, the bathroom on the second floor is very good use, all the facilities in the room are fully equipped, suitable for large families to stay.In the rainy season, there will be some damp smells on the first floor, so you can think of a way to improve it.

WOW - an amazing 5D/4N. 5 glorious days of relaxing: 2+h snorkeling trips every morning & even longer trips in the afternoons, fishing from the "flying banana", swimming with green turtles, evenings chilling on a private deck in the hammocks or ocean swing & just time to breathe & discover island life (outside of the westernised veneer of the resorts). It takes less than 30min to circumnavigate Mabul at a leisurely pace. We met Reed & Nor as hosts & guests but became friends. With no running hot water (that said the cold showers were refreshing & very welcome), no air con (in 39+ C but fans in our bedroom with a full opening wall to the deck provided more than adequate ventilation) & sporadic electricity it is not for everyone but adds to the authenticity of living on the island (& with power banks was no issue at all). Al (boat driver & turtle spotter 🐢 extrodinaire) & Ry (house helper) couldn't have been kinder when stepping up to run lodge unexpectedly. Amazing meals & perfect stay

Our stay was perfect for our needs. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood and only a short grab ride away from the town centre and other places of interest. The place was clean and comfortable, and the air on excellent. Marc was very helpful and communicative from the start, and also provided useful tips about local places of interest. We were also able to check in early which was great for us after several hours of travelling. Although a few more cups/glasses would be useful it wasn’t a problem for us as we were out exploring for most of the time. I would absolutely recommend Marc’s place and wouldn’t hesitate to go back there if I was in the area again.

I recently checked in at Komfy Villa Kundasang, and I couldn’t be more impressed with my experience! The hospitality here is exceptional; the staff made me feel so welcomed and ensured that all my needs were met with a smile. The villa itself is beautifully maintained, and the cleanliness is top-notch, creating a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The surroundings are absolutely breathtaking, with lush greenery and a peaceful ambiance that immediately puts you at ease. And of course, the highlight is the stunning view of Mount Kinabalu – waking up to that majestic sight every morning was truly a highlight of my stay. If you’re looking for a serene getaway with incredible views, excellent service, and immaculate facilities, Komfy Villa Kundasang is the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended!

Spacious place! Recommended to big family…

We were absolutely delighted when we checked in to the Airbnb unit. The mattresses are clean and comfy. Kitchen utensils are sufficient. The included Yukata rental was a highlight during the stay too! Last but not least, the view from the unit will be one of the experiences that we’ll never forget.

Nice unit, exactly the same as what you see. The only bad thing is the road to the unit is very bad.

I was very happy with the place. Besides the usual hiccups of a home, everything else was great. Thank you for hosting us. Looking forward to booking it again whenever we head back to Sandakan.

From booking to the final check-in, there is no obstacle to communication. The host Elivane is a very nice lady. She added us on WeChat in advance and told us what to expect. The directions in the pictures and videos are all clearly marked. She also let us check in early. This is really a lifesaver for us, who are 30°C in the daytime in Kota Kinabalu with three big suitcases!The whole room is just as pictured. Very clean!The location is right next to the Howard Hotel, next to the Zhongshi Tong Pier, 5 minutes walk to the developed area, 10 minutes walk to the relatively larger Shuguang Square, 15 minutes walk to Ga Ya Street, and there is a public swimming pool on the 25th floor of the hotel, where you can see the Zhongshi Tong Pier. The swimming pool is open until 8pm.

Best Airbnb & host I've ever experienced!

pros: very good location, walking distance (abt 15min) to Gaya street (but the weather is too hot so we still took a grab). also not far from the beach and airport The host was very responsive. The house is large and easy to check in. rooms are clean. good for a group stay. Overall worth the price! cons: It's near the airport, so sometimes the noise of airplanes is annoying. The flow of the shower head is weak...

We all enjoyed our stay at Xuan’s place. Among all the airbnb we chose in Malaysia, it is no doubt the most home like place. It is super clean and has everything we need. The location is great for our last stay in kk as it is super close to shopping centre and the airport.

Yo-Yo is a wonderful host, was always ready to help us and help us. The apartment is perfectly located above the shopping center, which has a huge number of shops (including a grocery store), cafes and restaurants. They already wrote about the planes that fly over the house, but they did not bother us at all. On the contrary, it was interesting to see them and take great photos. The apartment itself is spacious and very cozy, we really liked it there. There is a fruit and seafood market within a 15-minute walk from the apartment, which was also convenient.

We enjoyed our short stay in this appartement. It is very good equipped and was a perfect option for our family. Especially because there is a possibility to wash and dry/hang your clothes.

The unit is fantastic and it has everything you need. Host is also very responsive and helpful.
