Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

Alakerrassa lisäksi yksi makuuhuone, sauna, kylpyhuone ja erillinen wc. Yläkerrassa kaksi makuuhuonetta, joista toisessa oma wc. Yläkerran aulassa levitettävä vuodesohva.

Viihdyimme erinomaisesti tässä majoituksessa viikon ajan. Rauhallinen sijainti lähellä kylän palveluita ja latuja. Mökki oli hyvin varusteltu ja erittäin siisti. Tilaa oli ruhtinaallisesti kolmelle pariskunnalle, oma vessa jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa helpotti elämää. Ari oli joustava ja selkeästi viestivä isäntä. Kiitos!

La baita è splendida, ben curata e in una buona posizione. Spazi in comune ampi per gruppi numerosi, la cucina è ben fornita, i bagni un po’ piccoli ma funzionali. Vicina ai percorsi di sci di fondo/bob/ciaspolate e alla Aurora Cabin. Assolutamente consigliata!

Sehr schöne und gemütliche Unterkunft! Sehr gut zu zweit geeignet. Der Kamin und die private Sauna sind super! Auch alles andere wie Geschirr, Reinigungsmittel, Basics Lebensmittel war ausreichend zum ersten Ankommen vorhanden. FYI: Schlafplatz 3 und 4 sind nur durch einen Sichtschutz getrennt, es ist kein zweites Schlafzimmer. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

3日間家族で滞在し、マイナス10度と寒かったのですが、お天気に恵まれました☀️ エアビはサーリセルカの中心地から歩いて5分圏内ですが、周りは自然にあふれ、もみの木に雪がつもり、素敵なロケーションなので皆さんに強くお勧めします😉 ホストのIlka さんはとても気さくで親切な方で、フィンランドの事も色々お話しして下さいました。エアビはワンルームなので、大人3人には若干狭めですが、3人目用のソファベットや折り畳みチェアがきちんと用意されていました。サウナは広くゆったりでき、窓から雪景色ともみの木が見渡せて、今もその光景が目に焼きついています！❄️ 乾燥機はスキー用具用なのかとても強力で、すぐに衣類が乾き助かりました。どうしてもオーロラが見たくて、滞在先にサーリセルカを選んだのですが、フィンランド人の方に、１週間ガラスイーグルに滞在しても見えなかった位にオーロラは自然現象なので見えない事も多いので、その他にやる事を考えておいた方がいいとのアドバイスをうけていました。その為Ilkaさんに、オーロラツアー以外に、スノーモービル、ハスキー犬ぞりをお願いしていました。オーロラが見たいという私達に、Ilkaさんはプロによる写真撮影やBBQ等にお金をかけず、天気やオーロラ指数等で見える可能性があったら催行するよという実直な方でもあります。運良くサーリセルカ到着の初日の夜に見える可能性があるとの事で、車で3箇所連れて行って下さり、宇宙から降り注ぐカーテンのようなオーロラを見る事が出来ました✨ また、昼間にはIlkaさんが主催するスノーモービルで、オーロラが見えた観測台まで登り、青い空と雪の中走るのは最高でした！犬ぞりはIlkaさんから町の中心地にあるHusky Coという会社を紹介され、高額でしたがワンちゃん達はとても元気で可愛くて、青い空と白い雪の中、忘れられない想い出になりましたのでお勧めです🐕 Ilka さんのおかげで、フィンランドが忘れられない素敵な場所になりました🇫🇮 今度は夏のフィンランドも是非訪れてみたいです。 Ilka さん、本当にありがとうございました😊

Paikka oli todella mukava ja rauhallinen. Sijainti loistava. Hiihtoladut ja retkeilyreitit todella lähellä. Sopii lasten kanssa matkustaville. Hyvät sängyt ja petivaatteet. Astiasto riitti hyvin isommallekin porukalle. Sauna ja poreamme mukava lisä. Voin lämpimästi suositella majoitusta kaikille.
