Welcome to my holiday home in the heart of Saariselkä – only a few minutes' walk away of Urho Kekkonen National Park trailheads. I renovated and furnished my home completely in 2023 with all modern amenities while preserving the traditional stone-built fireplace and Finnish sauna. With three beds upstairs and a large sofa bed downstairs, the accommodation is comfortable for various types of groups. The remote working space, fully equipped kitchen and laundry also make it ideal for a longer stay.

A secluded log cabin is surrounded by snow-covered trees, illuminated by the soft glow from its windows. A vibrant band of northern lights arcs over the scene, casting a serene ambiance. The landscape features a blanket of snow and a scattering of twigs.

The cabin lies on an island, the last part needs to be walked over the ice (safe from mid-December till April) or rowed with our small rowing boat (included). A cabin for those who want to cocoon surrounded by nature, gaze at northern lights undisturbedly, discover untouched snowy forests on snowshoes (included) and sleep in absolute silence.
