We had a great trip there and the view was amazing!!

We spent three nights in this beautiful place overlooking stunning lake Como. As other reviews mention, it is quite a hike from the parking to the house up many steep stairs but the view is completely worth it. Paola’s recommendations for the area were wonderful and the perfect way to experience the area. The weather was not great while we were there but we still had an amazing time due to her recommendations. Hope to be back again!

Lovely place!!! We love it ;) Paola's place was really nice, quiet, perfect view and charm. We enjoy our stay and we would like to go back. Definitely nice to stay there. A few stairs but worth the view, a little challenge with my 2 year old and luggage but able to do it. Paola was very helpful and always available.

Absolutely perfect

Amazing place with stunning views! The balcony was the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and soak in the stunning views of the lake. Paola is a lovely hostess, very welcoming and gave the best recommendations for local wines and restaurants! She even helped book us a reservation. Can’t wait to come back!

Paola and Stefano’s attic apartment was just what we needed to start our honeymoon. It is in a great location with walking distance to great restaurants! Paola stayed in touch with us everyday and was quick to respond. The view from the apartment is unlike anything else and it was amazing to wake up to. Highly recommended!

The apartment is situated in a quieter part of Menaggio. The town center is easy to reach though. The climb up to the apartment is worth it for the fantastic views across the lake. The beauty of this apartment is that you have everything you need if you fancy a night in the apartment , including a balcony so you can have a romantic meal overlooking the lake!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Paola and Stefano’s apartment in Menaggio. The apartment itself is clean, bright and comfortable and the views from the balcony and bedroom are beautiful! The sun over the lake in the morning is the perfect wake up! Menaggio is a great little town with lovely bars and restaurants and we enjoyed varenna and bellagio also, which were easy to get to via ferry. I hope we can come back again!

I really enjoyed my two-night stay at Matteo's wonderfully peaceful place in Perledo just outside of Varenna and its tourist buzz. Matteo's accommodation is simple, clean, and affordable with a beautiful view. There's also a great little bar/restaurant (Milanos) and a small supermarket about 100 meters away. Theres a cool walking path from Perledo to Varenna (about 15 minutes downhill and 20- 25 minutes back uphill to Perledo), and lots of other trails, including the "Sentiero Viandante" very close by. If you have a suitcase, you'll want to take a taxi (10-12 euros) or try to catch the local bus (1.40 euros) up to Perledo. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Matteo's place is conform to the description. It is quiet and a good starting point for small hikes around the different villages nearby.

Matteo’s place is really amazing with the terrace and the view of lake Como! The house itself is old and pretty - a rare pearl in a pittoresques village! The property was clean and a good sleep is guaranteed. Thank you for this beautiful first night at lake Como - I would definitely stay longer or come back another time! The terrace full with afternoon sun gets all the points :)

Matteo’s place is an absolute dream! Get ready to walk uphill or take a taxi to get there but man is it worth it. Stay here!

This place truly took my breath away, lovely host, lovely place and just unreal view of the lake. The walk down the hill isn’t to bad at all and the area is one of my favourites on Lake Como. Train station near which is very handy. One of my favourite trips ever and a lot thanks to this place. I will be back, thank you x

Great space! A little bit of a hike up from Varenna but the walk down only takes about 20 minutes. Matteo is very helpful and quick to respond. I recommend staying here!

Every year I participate in the motorcycle rally in Mandello del Lario, and Matteo's accommodation is always a certainty!

A wonderful little place to stay with a lovely view. Check in was easy and instructions clear. Matteo had very quick responses. You have the place to yourself as the owner stays in another part of the property. Supermarket very close and fridge in your room. The walk up is quite a hike - not for faint hearted, walking down is much easier. Great workout Would stay again

So much more than expected! The pictures do not do justice to the beautiful apartment and view! Dario met us at check in and was so kind, sharing some of the local spots to try. The apartment is so spacious and impeccably decorated. The view - breathtaking. Could not have asked for more.

Excellent location, perfect communication, and exactly as advertised. We had a great stay at Dave made it effortless for check in and simply excellent all around.

Dario was incredible! he couldn’t have been nicer. He helped us with transport as well as dropping us to and from stations. The location is quiet (in October) and the roads are of course very hilly but the view was spectacular!

The place had great views of the lake! The pictures of the apartment are a tad deceiving, it is a studio apartment but the pictures and the way the description is written makes it sound like it is a separate bedroom. We didn’t mind, but it would have been nice to know before arriving. The place was so clean and Dario and his father both gave us some great tips as to what to do in the area. I would book this place again in a heartbeat!

Great communication, service and perfect location!

A really lovely apartment with the most amazing view. If you are looking for the best view in lake como then this is it! We thoroughly enjoyed just sitting with the double doors open watching the sun set. It’s even better than the pictures suggest so if you are looking to book for the view then book it! The apartment was clean, well equipped with all amenities and a short walk away from the ferry port and restaurants (but bare in mind it is a steep walk back up). Gravedona is quite quiet which we liked, but the car was definitely handy to get around to other towns, so we were glad there was a private parking space in front of the apartment. Overall I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone, we had a lovely stay!

Dave's father, bless his soul picked is up from the bus station after a long and scenic journey to Gravedona arriving from Milan. Lake como area itself is relaxing and beautiful and you feel it more so in Gravedona, away from the touristy areas and feeling like you stumbled on your own private little island. The view is breathtaking and one of the best we saw in Lake Como. Dave's father is very kind and a wonderful host. The ferry is very easy to take to get around the lake and explore different towns, would highly recommend!

The appartment is very well equipped,so you start relaxing the moment you enter the door,and especially the balcony. No need to tell that the view is breathtaking,and the big glass windows enable to enjoy it every second,even while eating breakfast in december. The spa was privately for just the two uf us, we felt like king and queen...Alessandra was very nice,kind and showed and explained everything. This place is amazing. The views are unbelievable and the place is very modern and clean. Claudia was so kind and helpful and kept in touch with us throughout the trip. It is a ways above the town but Lorenza was a great Taxi driver that was able to pick us up and drive us into Varenna.

We spent 3 nights in Lake Como and just wanted to relax, go for a few walks and eat great food. Although the location is at the top of the view and there’s a few bends on the way up, it’s totally worth it for the view from the apartment!!! The view of the lake and surrounding mountains is incredible!! There are plenty of local restaurants and it’s a great location for visiting nearby villages by boat... a great stay in a lovely apartment

Just back from a wonderful week in Philippe and Claudine’s beautiful Appartment. Our stay was perfect from start to finish. When we arrived Claudia met us to show us around and how to use everything, she gave us local tips and was in touch during the week to ensure we had the best time. The views are outstanding - even better than the photos. The appartment felt like a home away from home and was very stylish and clean. The spa was an added bonus as well, very well looked after and the views from the hot tub were out of this world. The local town Varenna is very pretty, you can spend the day strolling around the cobbled streets or if you want to venture further you can very easily get the ferry to Bellagio or other towns across the lake. The train station in Varenna was very easy to use - we travelled to Milan for a day which was great fun. Overall a great place to stay and lovely hosts, we hope to be back some day!

Way better place and location than expected. We had a great time, had to miss our last night due to a personal situation but I REALLY didn't want to leave! Pretty close to Varenna and there's parking in the town, so it's all pretty convenient.

Verenna is magical! Claudia our host was one of my favorite people on our trip. So helpful. The extras of this residence were amazing. Simple but perfect! I can’t wait to return.

I found myself well, welcoming and clean!

Lorenzo is a very welcoming and attentive host. The apartment is stunning, with magnificent views across the lake. It is a great spot to relax and unwind in, and very handy for exploring the surrounding area. The apartment has all the amenities and mod-cons that you need, and is warm, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. While the sofa bed isn't ideal for longer stays, it is perfectly fine and comfortable for a few nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again very soon!

The view is spectacular - better than any pictures. Lorenzo is a fantastic host who went above and beyond for us - organized transportation, great local tips, and even picked us up from the train station! Can’t recommend him or this AirBnb highly enough!!

This was truly one of the best Airbnb stays I have ever had! Everything exceeded my expectations. The location was right above the train station making traveling to and from very convenient. The apartment itself is beautiful, spacious, and clean. Last but not least, the view from the balcony is breathtaking. I found myself wanting to spend more time at the apartment just to gaze out at the scenery. I highly recommend anyone visiting Lake Como to stay here. The panorama is tiring! Every detail of the apartment is well thought-out, comfortable and practical. Lorenzo is a very attentive host but also tactful. The apartment is within easy walking distance of downtown Bellano and can be reached by boat or train.

The view is amazing. The pictures are amazing and they don’t do it justice. Lorenzo is an amazing host. It is a bit of a hike into town and coming back up but the view more than makes up for it. We loved how it was modern, had everything we needed and more! Would definitely recommend!

By far best place we stayed! Carlo was kind and organized. He picked us up from the train station. His home has the most beautiful view. The apartment was clean and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for anything more on our honeymoon.

Carlo’s place was wonderful. My husband and I had such an amazing stay in Perledo. The view was unbelievable! Carlo was very attentive and helpful with check in. The apartment had all of the amenities we needed, and we would definitely stay at Carlo’s place again.

Great apartments with incredible breathtaking views. Everything you need is for living and more! Sauna, pool, fireplace, all cooking utensils, parking, and excellent location. And very friendly Carlo, thank you very much.

Carlo and his place are honestly the reason why we will be using Airbnb Plus from now on. It was our first Airbnb Plus experience and it certainly wont be our last. Even though we arrived at around 7pm, hours after our anticipated time, Carlo was waiting for us right outside the garage to greet and welcome us. He helped us with our luggage and introduced everything to us in the complex and the apartment itself. Not only that, but he goes above and beyond with providing well thought out binders that explain everything in the apartment (literally everything, like what switched do what) and also whats in Perledo and Varenna. The apartment was excellent and spotless. It was the perfect size for a couple. The balcony is very spacious and the view is out of this world. You will never get bored from that view. Even though there were some scaffolds in front of the balcony for a building paint job, the view wasn't fully obstructed and the workers did not make any noise or bother us. One thing to not is that if you will be driving to the apartment and not used to driving in Como, its a bit of a challenge at first but you will quickly get the hang of it. I would highly recommend this apartment and will be visiting it again soon when I get the chance.

The stay at Carlo’s was awesome! The spa is amazing, just know that the outdoor hot tub is not open in the late fall/winter. House was great and being near Varenna was very nice. The views do not disappoint! It is gorgeous. Only slight negative is the WiFi. It hardly works in the bedroom so you can really only use it in the living room. It did fine with my laptop but it constantly logged you out when you used it on the phone. Not a huge problem but could be a problem if you’re planning on getting lots of work done. Other than that, amazing!

Gianpietros place is awesome. The view and hot tub are fantastic. I came in the off season and although pool was closed was still Able to use hot tub. Good kitchen for cooking. You really need to have a car to reach here but it’s a very nice secluded and quiet area

That was an amazing stay in a beautiful and cozy apartment. Simona and Nicole are very nice and gentle couple who made an excellent place to stay, totally new and with everything that you might ever expected. Totally recommended!

The apartment and the host are super. We arrived after midnight, but thanks to the self-service checking it was very convenient. You will find everything you need in the apartment, well equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher. Bathroom and bedroom are good too. Windows are directed to the garden, so there is no rush from the street which goes around the house. But even this street is not so busy. You can park your car in the garden without a problem - the entrance is big enough and flat, so again very convenient. WiFi is functional, and the stone table in the garden is an excellent place for breakfast and even for some work. Within half an hour you go by car near Lake Como, or to the mountains around (I can recommend Val Di Masino and the area around Ponte nel Cielo). I can only recommend it.

Very nice house, well-kept, with all the comforts. Recommended for those wishing to get away from the chaos of the city and visit the whole Valtellina area. Being outside the city center it is advisable to be self-driving.

Simona is very kind and helpful. The house is equipped with all the necessary comforts for a holiday and is in a strategic position to visit the Valtellina (very close to the Val di Mello). The garden is the flagship of the house, it allows you to relax in the sun and for the little ones to play outdoors. Come back!

This places was wonderful! I would definitely want to stay here again if I visited Lake Como. I loved everything about this cottage, from the incredible 24/7 view to the small touches of comfort all around the space. We were so happy to stay here. In practical terms, it was a dream to check-in and easy to get here from the local train station. Massimo handled everything with style and expertise, and he responded immediately the one time I had a question. Definitely a gem of a place to stay!

Everything perfect at home, very nice town with a wonderful view!

This is a splendid little apartment located in quiet Bellano. The apartment has a wonderful location right on the lake, it is cleverly designed so it makes the most of the space and is great for a couple. It offers everything one needs, a sufficiently equipped kitchen, TV and lounge area, good bathroom with powerful shower, and pleasant mezzanine bedroom that feels very spacious. The bed was comfortable with extra bedding available. The communication with Massimo was excellent, he responded promptly to messages, was very helpful and always with a friendly manner. The check-in and check-out procedures were straight forward. The train station is about a 7-10 minute walk along the water and from there we caught the train to Varenna (about a 5-7 minute ride), from which we took the ferry to visit Bellagio and Menaggio. We also took the train to Tirano where we caught the Bernina Express to Saint Moritz. This was the reason we decided to stay on this side of the lake, but it is great in general if you want to be out the main tourist hubs. We were there in early Feb, this is off season, so while it was wonderfully quiet and we enjoyed the view of the snow capped mountains it was hard to find many restaurants or shops open in any of the towns along the lake. In summary this was a superb apartment and location for us and I would highly recommend it. It is also very good value for money, dont hesitate!

Right on the lake, couldn't wish for a better location

I house was beautiful views for the lake, it is very comfortable and the location is amazing.

5 stars is not enough for this very special Airbnb. My husband and I stayed at Silvana's and our only regret is that we only stayed for one night. Everything was absolutely perfect. Upon arrival, we were greeted at the train station and given a ride to the house. We were immediately in awe with the amazing views of the lake, the beautiful patio setting, and how perfectly the house was set up. Silvana had so many special touches that made our stay stand out---aperitivo with a view, a fresh and plentiful breakfast and her beyond friendly personality. One of our favorite parts of the stay was being able to enjoy the views of the lake/mountains while in the hot tub (it was still too cold in the season for us to swim in the pool). If you aren't sure about booking--do it! You won't regret it :-) We can't wait to go back to "Villa Silvi"!

To say that this airbnb is amazing would be an understatement - Silvana and Dan are the two most amazing people you will come across on this site, and the house is perfect. You will not beat the views from the pool, and the hot tub was perfect for late night star gazing. To stay here was a wonderful experience.

What an unforgettable experience. We normally book entire places instead of private rooms, but don't be fooled, this is an incredible value Airbnb and one of our absolute favorite ones to date. Nonna Silvana is absolutely incredible, I want her to be my grandma! The hospitality is out of this world as the hosts offer to pick you up from the train station and drive you to dinner. As for the villa itself, it is out of this world. The views are unforgettable and we ended up staying outside for no less than 4 hours in the hot tub just taking in the sunset. Never once did Nonna and her son's presence feel intrusive as we really had a perfect experience. Can't recommend them higher, book this place!

Silvana’s house was absolutely incredible. It was February so quite chilly but her hot tub blows everything out of the water. It’s an absolutely boiling 35C and everything you would ever want from a home in the mountains. Let’s not forget Silvana’s amazing hospitality - amazing aperitivo and pasta from her kitchen.. we felt so at home and would be back in a second ! Silvana is such a warm and welcoming lady and her son Daniele is super friendly. If you love a doggie you will love isotta she is a huge cuddly bear (but is very aloof and if you don’t like dogs she won’t be a problem and keep herself to herself) love from Nikki and Brent

We had a wonderful stay in Bellano. The apartment is located right on the water, close to the beautiful town. Mirko was an excellent host. Very flexible and helpful. While you’re in town, I highly recommend eating at Ristorante La Darsena - the bolognese was to die for. Excellent stay, thank you!

We loved our stay in Bellano. It was a great location, and Mirko picked us up at the train station which was so appreciated after a long day of travel. The kitchen was really well stocked, and the extra things were included (such as washing powder, laundry powder, body wash etc). Really great veiw too. And the wifi was fast which was good because we work online. We will definitely stay again next time we're in Bellano. Thank you Mirko!

Apartment was amazing! Everything ( train station and pears, restaurants, supermarket and small cafe) is close to apartments, view from apartment is the best part of our trip! Highly recommended!

Communication was easy with Mirko and he kindly met us at the station and drove us to the property where we checked in and was shown around. Accommodation is as described on the listing and very clean, welcoming and homely. Lots of pots, pans, glasses, towels ect.... great views of the lake. Bellano is a lovely area and easy to complete day trips to the busier Como and Bellagio ect... we felt safe in the property and around Bellano. I would recommend this property to my family and friends. The only thing to make the accommodation perfect would be to have a double mattress, currently the main bedroom has two single mattresses put together, which is comfortable but I personally like a double. Apart from that this place is great. We had a great 6 night stay, thanks.

The apartment was beautiful! Gorgeous bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, and a beautiful view of the lake. I would absolutely reccomend staying here. Only thing is the listing states to bring €40 for the cleaning fee but when we arrived it was €70. Mirko said it was to cover the tourist tax. Which is fine that you want to charge it to us instead of including it in your rate, but should have let us know ahead of time. We almost didn't have enough money. Great place to stay

It was a great pleasure to stay at Mirko's place! We wanted to start our trip with a good, relaxing vibe at the shores of lake Como and this apartment provides just that! A perfect experience. Mirko was communicating with us from the very beginning, met us and showed us the apartments. He also gave lots of recommendations. Apartments are very clean, equipped with everything you need and most important HAVE AN EXCELLENT VIEW FROM THE BALCONY! This, people, is what we've been looking for quite a while! If you like in large urban city and require a nice quiet place to chill off Mirko's place got it all. Recommended.

Paulo’s place is in a beautiful and quiet (at least in December) area of Lake Como. The views over the lake are stunning. You probably need a car to enjoy fully but the place is an hour from the ski resorts further north and less than an hour to the ferry taxis to take you to Como. There are many pretty towns nearby with many places to eat. The apartment is cosy and warm with a well equipped kitchen. Paulo is an amazing host who helped as all through the trip and even gave us a Christmas cake!

Perfect quiet cottage get-away with an incredible lake view!! We loved every minute! Paolo is so accommodating and friendly! The cottage is perfect for 2-3 people and just what you need. We will be back!!!

Wonderful !

Thank to Paolo and his Dad, we found the house very easy. Even thought, you shout be not nervous to drive behind him. He was very gentle driving slow the smallest streets I've ever driven. The recommendations from Paolo to hike in the seroundings were even nice as the view from the apartment. The apartment has everything you need. Thank Paolo for having us at Lake Como.

The cottage is super nice and spotlessly clean. Everything is prepared with love. Towels and sheets were cuddly and of good quality. There is also a small basic equipment such as tea, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. Paolo is a very nice, eager host. Thank you very much!!!

We enjoyed an amazing weekend at Andreas & Carla’s apartment. The place has a lot of personality and most importantly an astonishing view of the lake from all rooms, we’ve never seen anything like it! Andreas furthermore surprised us with having installed a hot tub in their private garden, which was absolutely perfect, since the shared one in the spa is closed during winter time. Can only recommend this place, also during winter time, we hope to come back soon!!

The view is truly amazing, pictures don't do it justice! We had such a nice time here and Andrea & Carla were super hosts, very friendly and thoughtful. This place must be incredible to stay at during warmer months! Andrea recommended an amazing local italian restaurant close to the house where we had amazing authentic Italian food! We were a bit disappointed that the spa was not in use (we were told after arrival that it's not in use from November) but the pool, spa and steam room were all in use and we really enjoyed it. Varenna the town below is beautiful. Make sure you have a car though!

This place is absolutely amazing! Amazing views from the flat and all over the property! There are so many amenities at the complex, like a pool, hot tub and sauna with views of the lake, that we could have stayed at the flat the whole time we were there! Andrea was a great host and got back to us really fast when we had questions. He made us feel like we were at a resort! We loved every part of the place and will definitely be back soon!!

Great place to stay, amazing view from the flat and we really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Andrea was very helpful and communication was very good.

We really had a great time at this wonderful apartment overlooking Lake Como. There’s a beautiful outdoor terrace. There are very special touches in the house that make it feel very unique and comfortable. The stairs up to the upstairs you see the old stone in the back of the building. The parking is very nice and feel secure and it’s very easy to get from the car up to the apartment. The elevators work very well. I would highly recommend staying at Andrea‘s and Carla’s Place

This place is absolutely amazing! A unique experience in an incredible setting! Guido was such a hospitable host and you could sense his care and passion for this beautiful area of Italy as well as see his design and architecture skills throughout the tower. Every detail of the tower is curated to perfection. Not to mention, outside of the tower is a beautiful yard and vineyard and you are surrounded by waterfalls behind you and across the valley. The views of the mountains could not be better. It’s also located near an authentic Italian mountain town with great restaurants and markets and bike/walking paths that connect the area. This place is a must stay! Hope to return soon!

Beautiful little tower house, perfect for a weekend trip!

Guido and his family are lovely and so helpful! My car got stuck in the mud and they showed up asap to help me out. The castle is amazing and very special. It is worth visiting :)

Cannot recommend this place more. It is absolutely picturesque. Location is perfect as you can walk or ride bike right to Chiavenna, the trail is basically in the backyard. Plenty of great cafes, bars, restaurants and fun hiking trails. Guido is an excellent host, very responsive.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at The Tower. It’s an amazingly well designed space. Fantastic location. Views exceptional. Guido kindly lent us 2 bikes to go off exploring with and we enjoyed cycling to Chiavenna along the river. His local recommendations of where to go and what to see were spot on. Beautiful place!

This is an incredible apartment. As other reviewers have said, the pictures can’t do it justice. There’s a castle (private) literally in the back yard. There’s a trail that goes for who knows how long along to lake to the other villages (we took it from the castle, following with the lake on our left). The view is unbelievable and the apartment itself was perfect. Parking was available and easy (beside the castle/chapel). And the village is very close to food. We went two villages over for a pizza dinner recommended by the hostess. Delicious. It was pure joy, this stay.

My girlfriend and I spent the weekend in Ronaldo's beautiful apartment. It’s fantastic. Nearby is the Lecco, a beautiful city where you can spend several hours. Dervio is a quiet village. The view is breathtaking and the equipment, cleanliness is impeccable. We can only recommend Ronaldo and her apartment.

Stayed with two children. I liked everything very much. There is where to go, there is something to see. Nearby there is a minimarket, which has everything you need. It was at the end of September, so the apartments were already a bit cool. But there is a heater. We really liked everything. I will definitely recommend friends staying here.

Giovanni gave us a warm welcome and took the time to patiently explain everything to us. The house has an outstanding panoramic view of the mountain peaks and the Tibetan bridge and a beautiful garden. Even if you do not have a car, it is possible to travel reliably by bus. The house was spacious and clean. It was equipped with everything you need. Giovanni and Milena were very attentive and always anxious for our well-being. Communication was lightning fast, hospitality was very big. Lovely again!

A beautiful, quiet piece of history to relax in. Your hosts have thought of everything you will need for a wonderful stay and upon arrival take the time to show you it all. You have the opportunity to do as much or as little around Como as you want. The Cremia area is well serviced with buses to get you to ferry’s, alternatively you could walk. Fantastic restaurants and bars are within a stones throw, or if you prefer to dine at home the home grown and hand picked vegetables are a great addition to any menu. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be spreading the word about this gem! Thank you for having us.

What can I say except for 'WOW'. Just returned from the most fabulous weekend at Jorgen and Nete's idyllic home in the most beautiful setting with amazing views of the Lake. This trip was a surprise for my parents 40th wedding anniversary and my Mum's 60th Birthday and we were truly spoilt by Nete and Jorgen's hospitality. Their home is perfect in every way... clean, great location, with everything you need and more from amazing views to the little touches such as crisp, cold wine awaiting you in the fridge and everything in between. Simply a perfect stay at the perfect place. Great for any celebration or just a weekend away. We couldn't recommend it enough and are certain we will be back again. Thank you Nete and Jorgen!

Wonderful apartment in a charming location

A very nice place very well located for visiting half of Lake Como from Tremezzo to Varenna. A room in a beautiful vault well isolated, quiet and cozy. More classic but well equipped kitchen for a quiet studio. Easy home (key box) and independent but owner in the same building and very dynamic and friendly. A very beautiful address

Federica is a great host. The check in is super straightforward and Federica is happy to help with tips on the environment. The apartment is very exceptional and special. 1min walk is a bakery with good cheese and sausage etc. We were hiking, which is very good from there and easy to reach. For a road trip to Como we only needed about 45min driving time. All in all a great holiday and gladly again.

Gigi’s place is little, secluded and very clean. It has all you need! We really enjoyed the outer space and the hike to the Piramidi and in the forest!

Splendid hut immersed in the quiet. All attention to detail.

We stayed for a weekend and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend days immersed in nature and tranquility. The owner was very helpful and friendly, on our arrival we found the stove already on and the cabin warm and welcoming. Well equipped with regards to the kitchen and bathroom. The room located on the first floor in a mezzanine, overlooks the garden through a small terrace from which, in the evening, you can admire the starry sky that you dream of seeing in the city. The barbecue area gives a breathtaking view of the valley. Ideal for both families and friends because among the many board games already present in the living room and the sound system connected to the CD player, fun cannot be missing. Thank you so much!

This is a lovely little cabin in a quiet forest with wonderful views and all the amenities you need to get away from the rush of city life while being very comfortable. Gigi is extremely responsive and has left very clear instructions and tips to make your arrival and stay easy and stress-free. Close to the cabin, there are several (unmarked but easy) trails, affording grand views, and plenty of options for outdoor activities nearby - leaflets helpfully provided in the cabin. There is a small but well-stocked supermarket in Postalesio in case you want to do your food shopping locally. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back. Grazie di tutto Gigi!

Delightful cottage with wonderful views of the Alps: Gigi was an impeccable host, always attentive and helpful. Cabin highly recommended for those who want to spend a few days out of the world, between mountain paths and lots of peace. Our New Year's Eve was perfect! To add also the full pet friendly availability: our three boys had a lot of fun and the house is perfect for them too!

I was in this cabin for three days and I found myself really well because I missed nothing. There is a beautiful green, a wonderful view of the valley floor and the mountains all around. The cozy house has a pellet stove that heats the whole room very well, there is the stereo system, even the guitar. The bathroom is new, the room is all in wood and clean, typical of mountain huts. I could appreciate the sounds of nature and do Yoga. At the end of November I also had a discount on the price. I thank Gigi who is a very kind person.

The chalet is located in a strategic position a few minutes drive from Tirano and 25 minutes from Bormio, but in a quiet area away from traffic. Impeccable cleanliness and large windows that make the living room with fully equipped kitchen very bright. Graziella was very kind and helpful, providing us with information and useful details to better organize our stay. Warm welcome, with a delicious tart offered for free. We had a really good time and we hope to return soon, maybe in spring to fully enjoy the wonderful nature that Valtellina offers.

Graziella was such a welcoming and lovely host. Communication was perfect. She also gave us wonderful reccomendations for things to do during our stay and was happy to help with any questions we had. She even sent us off with some treats from a bakery at the end of our stay. The home itself was beautiful and in perfect condition. Everything was clean and organized and there was plenty of room to relax. The kitchen had been stocked with basics and had everything needed to cook a meal at home. Location was also perfect. The Perego bus stop in Lovero was only a 10 minute walk from the house, which made it easy to catch a bus to places like Tirano, Bormio, and Livigno. Would definitely recommend!

Cannot say enough about our amazing hosts Carla Silvia & Andrea. Incredibly gracious and understanding hosts. Always easy to get ahold of and most accommodating with our special needs.

Carla and Andrea provided a lot of information before we arrived and were available upon check in to give us a tour and provide instructions on using amenities. The views were great and spa amenities were an extra treat. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic host who made sure we had everything we needed. Great communication and she was quick to reply to our inquiries. Left us a lovely bottle of wine as a welcome gift. The views are STUNNING. As mentioned by others, be aware this home is a 10-15 minute ride above Varenna in Perledo. You need a transportation plan as taxis to/from the train and ferries runs €16-€20. This is not a criticism. It’s a great location. But travelers simply need to plan ahead for getting around the area.

Carla and Andrea’s place is absolutely amazing. It was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. The view is absolutely stunning - it literally looks fake, like a painting. The spa amenities on the rooftop were also incredible; we had the spa to ourselves and it was so relaxing. We would recommend to everyone, and the next time we’re visiting Lake Como, we will definitely book at Carla and Andrea’s. One bit of advice is to rent a car for your stay. We arrived into Varenna by train and took a taxi up to the apartment, which was fine. However, it’s about an hour hike down the hill from the apartment into town, and we didn’t even try to hike back up at any point during our stay. We took taxis back up each night after dinner, for about €20 a ride. If you’re staying any longer than a few days, a car is a must (unless you don’t mind spending a bunch of money on taxis).

We loved staying here! It has an incredible view and the spa was lovely. Since we traveled in the off season, it felt like we had the spa to ourselves. Note that the apartment is very high up the mountain and it takes about 15 minutes to go up and down into the town but the hosts made it easy to coordinate with local taxi drivers and we didn’t have a problem. Carla was very responsive and a great host. I would stay here again!

I have had wonderful days on Lake Como! I appreciated the good tips and the friendly welcome of the hostess. A pretty, small studio in a very quiet location! Perfect for a short stay as an individual. Easily accessible by public transport: from the front door to eg Varenna by train in less than 20 minutes. The price-performance ratio is excellent!

Laura's place was a quiet little respite for my trip to Lake Como. I appreciated the coffee and Netflix! There was a musty smell in the space, but I wasn't there a ton since I was out exploring, so I didn't even mention it to Laura. She was super responsive though and I'm sure would have made an effort to remedy had I asked! She brought me a corkscrew when I asked for one which was very nice! Laura's place is located very close to the Dervio train ( be sure to buy tickets at the newsstand by the train tracks!) and walking distance to restaurants, a supermarket, and hiking trails. Thank you for a great stay, Laura! If you are looking for a quiet, local place outside the hustle and bustle, stay here!

Wonderful apartment in a beautiful town that has suddenly become Como's favorite place. Comfortable, clean, pretty. The room is not as small as it might seem in the photo, you can safely stay for a longer time. A place you really want to go back to.

The house is very nice and clean, has everything you need. Convenient location - to the neighboring city there are trains and steamers. I advise you to at least visit the neighboring Varena and Bellagio. It was not possible to meet with Laura, but her mother was very affable and ready to help with all questions.

Spacious apartment, well equipped, with view of Lake Como. Wonderful big terrace overlooking the lake, with French doors opening on to it from bedroom and kitchen/dining room. Lovely hosts, Harm and Patricia. Plenty of parking space. Use GPS if possible to find where to turn from the busy lakeside road.

We had a great stay in Harms "Da Angelo" apartment. The huge terrace is really the highlight, there you can sunbathe, have breakfast and look at the sea. Also to spend the evening there is very nice. Inside there was everything necessary, also z. B. a lemon squeezer. There is also a lovingly designed folder with information about the environment and possible hikes ready. The road between the apartment and the lake did not bother us at night either. But we slept with the windows closed. We were also offered to sleep in the other room if it was too loud in one of us. I also loved the bath because I do not have any at home. There you can spend a really nice time without having to leave the house. There lives also a blind cat in the house, which does not meow, but rather chirps. So sweet :) A two-month-old puppy moved in there too recently. We would like to have stayed longer than just 4 days! Beautiful view, less populated area. A car would be ideal in order to go to markets or other parts of the lake, or else you have to take a bus that only comes about once an hour.

Everything was perfect! The place was sparkling clean, extremely cosy and we had everything we needed + private parking. The location is also excellent, we woke up everyday surrounded by mountains, there are 2 local supermarkets nearby, the lake is only a few minutes away and there are plenty beautiful places to visit either within walking distance or only a short drive away. Our stay here was great and Luca is an amazing host, extremely responsive to messages and very helpful. 110% recommended!

Mirko had thoughtful touches throughout the apartment that made it a comfortable stay for my boyfriend and I. We had a car during our stay, the garage parking spot provided was convenient and safe. We definitely want to come back, and would stay at this property again.

Incredible stay. The view and location are just perfect. Although you’re up the hill, the taxi service is 10 euro and is a great little ride down. Or walk! The host also supplies walking sticks!! Excellent apartment with a stellar view. Mirko was very helpful, and place was sparkling clean. Nice thoughtful touches like universal travel adaptors, several types of coffee machines, extra towels and linens. Really thought of everything to make it a comfortable stay. A bit of a hike up from the town of Varenna so we were glad we rented a car. But once at the top it is the most spectacular view of the Lake and town.

A nice and cozy place in an ancient Italian house, which is now newly renovated. An amazing view of the lake and the village from a fabulous balcony. Very clean and homey. Parking on premise. Paola is a charming woman and was very hospitable. She welcomed us with a big smile and offered a freshly baked cake later on. She is easy to communicate with. This place is highly recommended.

The apartment is super clean, and feels even bigger than on the pictures. We believe it’s the best place to stay near the como lake because of the breathtaking view from the balcony. Paola&Silvas are there when you need them but you got all the privacy you need. They are very flexible and friendly. For us this was the perfect start for a road trip in Italy! Highly recommented!

Superb! A charming and tastefully decorated accommodation, well equipped, although the highlight of the show is the terrace! It climbs to get there, but the more you climb and the more you gain in panorama (And it energizes;)). The area is less touristy than other lake towns, but more authentic and natural, and that's what we wanted. Beautiful walks to do in the heights. Paola and Silva were adorable and full of warm attentions, as well as present if needed. Their beautiful and cute Felix will also point the tip of his nose if you like cats!

We had a great stay in Paola and Silva's apartment. Quiet, with a magnificent view of the mountain and the lake from the large private terrace. The hosts were there to welcome us, they are adorable with little touches everyday. We thank them warmly. The accommodation is located on the ground floor of a large house where guests live. We are really independent of them and at the same time close in case of question / problem. If we return to the area, it is with great pleasure that we will stay again.

Silvias Place is awesome! The view is even better than on the photos! The apartment is cozy but offers still enough space for 6 people. The cat can be a little annoying and the streets to get to the place are quite narrow but one is getting used to it. I can absolute recommend this apartment! The view and the Italian atmosphere is just marvellous!

Silvia is a great host. From the first contact on throughout our stay the communication was super fast and easy. We had a great time in her beautiful apartment - the place is put together very nicely and easily feels like home, the view is incredible and very inviting to just hang out and relax on the balcony. The location also is a great starting point for walks/ hikes up and down hill, but you need some good shoes and condition. Our absolute favorite was the walk straight down to Domaso. We traveled with a baby and our baby carrier backpack was in use daily, because it’s way easier to get around with that than with a stroller. Everything else that was needed for the baby in the apartment was provided by Silvia. We would definitely stay at her place again and recommend it to everybody else, too.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is lovingly designed, nothing is missing. The absolute highlight is the terrace overlooking the lake. As often described, the approach on the very narrow road is a bit adventurous, but also feasible for larger cars. But then you are in a rural idyll and still on the lake. Silvia always responded immediately to questions and was very helpful. We would come back anytime!

Two-room apartment on the west side of the Lungomallero a short distance from the central Piazza Garibaldi. The check-in operations were punctual and both owners have never failed to have their availability in case of need during the entire duration of the stay. Very clean apartment with all the necessary services during the accommodation. Excellent experience from all points of view.

We stayed in this apartment for the Valtellina Wine Trail. The apartment is in a very convenient location with respect to the center and there are several parking lots nearby. The house is equipped with everything necessary and well equipped. Umberto was very helpful and precise in welcoming. The neighborhood is very quiet.

Spacious room for one or two travelers. Nice balcony and especially the view of the mountains. Kitchen equipped with everything needed for a short stay. Comfortable bathroom (but watch out for the water temperature, which comes out very hot). Parking in the immediate vicinity, although there is not always a place. Convenient location to take the state road 38 that crosses the Valtellina, but still very quiet, and a 5 minute walk from the center of the village of Talamona. Ideal to rest a few days.

Cute little apartment and we had a great stay. Simona made a great recommendation on a restaurant (Osteria del Zep) and was quick to communicate the entire time we were planning our trip. The only major drawback of our stay was the bed. The pillows and blankets were great, but the mattress was VERY thin and since the bed is a pullout couch we could feel every slat in the frame as individual lumps in the bed. Aside from that, we loved our stay and appreciated the special touches throughout the apartment. A great stay if you’re looking for scenic and sweet on a budget!
