Vacation rentals with lake access in Province of Sondrio

Dear Yvonne, Thank you for the great time. We had everything we needed in the apartment. The large, fenced garden was great for our little son. He was able to get out on his own and play football. Yvonne's grandson was another plus as a great teammate. Yvonne was always quick to respond to questions. The location is great, great view, but not too high, so you are quickly on the main road. Large supermarkets and a shaded child-friendly beach 10 minutes away. We were very pleased and had a great time! Very nice single storey apartment, very well located, two minutes walk from the Varenna pier, with a very nice patio and a peaceful flower garden. It's a great place to rest after sightseeing around Como Lake. Hosts are very considerate and responsive, you feel at home. Access instructions are very clear and recommendations nearby are offered.

The apartment was a wonderful place to stay on Lake Como and Bellano is lovely and quiet. The location is fantastic, so close to the train station (direct train to Milano) and the ferries to other towns on the lake. The Bellano Orrido waterfall is amazing and the town is lovely, with the waterfront walk, a historical centre and plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. The apartment has a view of the mountains and is so close to the water. Antonella and Donatella were so responsive and helpful - and the apartment was beautiful, with plenty of room. We loved it!!

We had a lovely stay at Il Terrazzino! The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the house was spotlessly clean with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view over the lake was absolutely stunning, and the location was perfect—peaceful, yet just a short drive to everything. We would definitely recommend it and would love to return!

Very convenient place, close to the train station and the ferry station. One of the bathroom was quite small, but the other bathroom was good. Definitely would recommend for the location! Easy check in process.

Fantastic Airbnb. Really nice views over Lake Como. House is in a cute, quiete Village. Everything you need is till there (Restaurant, little shop). We stayed 10 nights with a big family (7 people). Loved it. The hosts are super nice, good communication.

Hey, the stay at Simone’s apartment was really good. We got everything we needed and it is exactly like the photos. We had a little accident and the neighbours were super kind and helped us, too. It is better to have a car there. We would recommend and if we are coming back to lago di Como we would stay there again. Thanks for everything!

Staying at Bellano and choosing this apartment was the one of the best decisions we made during our trip in Italy 🇮🇹 The town has a very local feel , very accessible to all of Lake Como . The apartment in overlooking the lake with fantastic views .Close to all public transport , supermarket and restaurants. A place with views of lake Como and the backdrop of mountains. Every room had a balcony (one balcony shared by three rooms and other two to the other side) and the views from every corner was very picturesque. The place looks very new and had everything you need. Definitely worth staying and we will return if we are in the area again.

Clean , functional airbnb . Comfortable sofa bed . The position is absolutely perfect with the lake , navigation for boat trips, and bars and shops literally just steps away . Bellano itself is perfect at any time of year .

Wonderful place especially the upstairs bedroom and its large terrace with a splendid view of the lake . The accommodation was clean, very good bedding and very quiet. The accommodation has a terrace and a covered balcony on which you can eat which is very nice . It is located near the town of Menaggio ( 10 minutes by car) which offers the possibility of taking the ferry to reach different typical villages. We had a lovely stay there and highly recommend this place.. Too bad no tourist leaflets available are in French. We'll definitely be happy to go back.

Beautiful apartment and amazing views, exactly as described. Host Paola was very helpful and the check-in info was easy to follow. The bed was comfortable and water pressure great (for older building). The location was amazing – being on the water in a quieter town. Bellano was definitely the choice for us. Other more popular known towns such as Bellagio and Varenna are definitely worth the visit but too busy and touristy for our liking, even end of April. The main purpose for our trip to Lake Como was the Villa del Balbianello in Lenno, another very beautiful and less touristy town, especially early morning. Orrido di Bellano is definitely a must see. I can recommend Bar Truth where we stopped for lunch (great pizza) and Bar Testori where we had our last morning coffees, fresh croissants and paninis to go. We would definitely stay at Paola’s if/when revisiting Lake Como again.

Francesca’s place is simply mind blowing. The location and the property is stunning, the facilities are all you would ever need and Francesca as a host is there to make you feel like a friend or a family member that has just come home. An experience we can only wholeheartedly recommend to everybody.

Small house with stunning lake views! The outdoor space is a big plus especially for the kids (our two year old daughter loved the slide). We didn't really enjoy the private beach (because too busy visiting the area) but we loved taking the secret passage. So we'll have to come back in the summer to enjoy more;) We were lucky enough to meet Salvatore who is very responsive and welcoming. The cottage is very well placed to discover the Lake and we even took nice walks on site. An address that we'll keep precious.

The accommodation is impeccable, very clean and over-equipped. It is off the beaten track and quiet, in a privileged setting on the lake (small private beach and beautiful hiking trails starting from the house). 10 minutes' drive to the center and the port, very good restaurants nearby (less than 5 minutes' drive) The host Marina is the best, adorable and very helpful. The + of +: VERY DOGFRIENDLY they are accepted everywhere, all the time. Everything was perfect ;-)

Needed a place to stay with 2 separate bedrooms basically last minute for 1 night. This was getting the job done without issues. They have an extra garage which was very beneficial. The little terrace was nice to just sit outside and unwind for a moment.

We stayed at the cottage for 8 nights, mid end of August, and had a wonderful time. The contact with Marina, Antje and Andrea was extremely friendly, straightforward and helpful. Antje and Andrea speak German, which was very helpful. The place is very newly decorated and we loved the style. It is simple but stylishly designed. What you need is there and unnecessary things have been dispensed with. The hammer is the short path to a beautiful little beach, which is exclusively shared with the neighbors. Unlike the public beaches, you can also find shade there and can easily spend several hours reading and swimming. The small garden at the cottage offers a lot of peace and quiet. There were a lot of mosquitoes in our time. It seems that they are only there so you don't feel completely in paradise yet. Thank you very much for the wonderful time to you, Marina and team. A great apartment with stunning views. Modern and nicely decorated. The pool is perfect. Lots of delicious restaurants in the area. Luca is likeable and available any time. We felt very welcome. Highly recommend :)

We were received in a very friendly manner and even received active support in bringing in the luggage. Francesco was always available and gave us great tips. We felt very comfortable in this super clean, beautiful apartment with its own lake access and beautiful views. The kitchen was super equipped and had everything you needed. Our children (8&5 years) loved the small playground in front of the apartment and the free access to the lake at all times. Thank you Francesco for the great time in your apartment, we would definitely recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back next year!
