The large Umgebindehaus of cloth merchant C. W. Henke sits in the heart of Upper Lusatia. Built in 1831 and carefully restored, it blends historic character with modern comfort: original doors, windows and floorboards, Meissen tiled stoves, linseed‑oil paints and 1930s wallpapers. With 260 m², it offers space for up to 11 guests, a big dining table, plenty of toys and a fully equipped kitchen. Depending on the season, the wild garden, the terrace or the vaulted sauna invite you to relax.

The private accommodation is located in a beautiful area of Saxony, Upper Lusatia, a gently hilly region of the Lusatian Highlands. This unique location guarantees peace, relaxation or active recreation. The house was formerly inhabited by local hunters. A few years ago, it was completely renovated and expanded. There is a small lake and the "Flössel" stream. In winter, the house in the forest is the starting point for ski hikes through the surrounding landscape conservation area.

We offer a stay in a cozy traditional log house in peace and privacy. The house has lovely views and is located near forest and National Park. The living room has fireplace, kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped. Two bedrooms are in the second floor. Heating is provided by the fireplace, electricity is for keeping the house warm. Unlimited WiFi with a speed of approximately 28 Mbps. The ceilings in the first floor are low, please be careful not to hit your head!
