In 10 minutes by bike, you can reach Castricum aan Zee with a beautiful beach, many terraces, restaurants and water sports. There are 2 folding bicycles at the cottage. A nice and cozy stay, quietly located yet remains central. Close to the beach and cities like Alkmaar and Amsterdam. With a lovely, sunny garden where there are plenty of relax spots. The place includes the cute and easygoing cat Jet. She has her own cat door and can go in and out whenever she wants. So there's no need for a litter box. You rent a barn house on the outskirts of Akersloot. Rural area and yet close to the A9, so you can be in cozy cities like Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar in no time. The house has its own entrance; you have a beautiful view of the bulb fields. Akersloot is 10 km from the beach. It is adjacent to the Alkmaardermeer where you can also swim, and there is a playground for children. Tourist tax must be paid separately and is €1.80 pp/night. Breakfast is not included.
