Places to stay in Hoboken
Downtown, the best bit of Manhattan. One of, if not the, LARGEST space on Airbnb in NYC. Your Own PRIVATE Bathroom & PRIVATE Bedroom, a Terrace off the bedroom, near to subways/buses, restaurants, bars, real luxury right in the middle of things. Just read our 500+ 5-STAR REVIEWS and you will see why we are SUPER-HOSTS and why you will just love this place, like other guests, I promise. Si, hablo bien espanol, Français parlé assez bien.
Downtown Manhattan, .. just like you see it in the films. Only so much better in real life !! All the details are below so that will see all that you will experience on your trip to the Big Apple - there are lots of things you will love when you stay here, but PLEASE PLEASE (did I say please?) try to read all the way to the end of the description, including sleeping arrangements, information on the area, getting around and the frequently asked questions. I know it is a bit of a novel, but it is well worth it and, from experience, it makes sure you understand everything in detail and ensures you will have the best stay that you can. Anything at all that you are not sure about, if you are new to Airbnb for example, just ask and I will get back asap and clarify. • Very spacious loft apartment ( about 2000 sq feet, 188 sq m, at last measure - so very BIG for New York) in the center of arguably the coolest area of the city (please do not argue ), modern, minimalist furniture , very open, very clean, I take great pride in having a spotless living environment (that goes for the host too). A Massive space that gets flooded with light via a wall of windows. Just take a look at the pictures. High security. Walking distance to subways & museums. Friendly building and very safe neighborhood. • Your own PRIVATE bathroom - Large, spacious, with Jacuzzi Bath, Shower, Hairdryer, Kohler fixtures. Fresh towels etc. Fully-stocked. All the shampoo and things you will ever need. Just for you. • Your own PRIVATE bedroom - Queen Bed for 2, firm and soft pillows for every type of sleeper, linens, towels, Large Flat Screen TV, Netflix, Amazon TV etc, Wardrobe. Again only for you. • Large kitchen - Open concept with an area to eat and with everything you need to design a gourmet feast, top of the line GE appliances, Microwave, Toaster, Kettle , Dishwasher, stainless steel counter top etc. Make any food you want - if it is really good, give me some. Make coffee there in the morning - always available -- you have your very own little coffee bar. • Very large living area, Real Fireplace, WiFi, Surround sound HDTV with HDMI hook-up and Roku TV, Bose sound system with iPhone/iPod hook-up, the best choice in music (in my opinion, most not consulted). Sit.... Enjoy • Large dining area - seats lots, great views over the city and over the Williamsburg Bridge. Eat foods mentioned above (probably while seated, although one can never be sure). • Natural brick walls (as opposed to unnatural I suppose) and a lovely Merbeau wooden floor, both of which look good (but don't say much). • Floor to ceiling windows throughout - bathed in sun (when the sun is out, mainly, of course) • Outside secluded seating area and balcony - you access directly from your room - very secluded (sometimes I cannot find it) • Full air conditioning / heating in the room and in rest of loft - be hot, be cool (most likely one at a time) • Bosch Washer and Dryer - for you to use - we like to reserve that for guests who stay for 3 nights or longer - being kind to the world too, we try to use cold water as well where possible. • Keyed Private elevator entrance directly into Loft - of course you have your own key (or stairs if u have the energy - does not seem so popular, strangely) • Printer / Scanner available. Pens and paper too, if you are a traditionalist.(although we draw the line at camel hair brushes, I'm sure you understand). And there is a universal power adapter for you to use to charge your gadgets too. • The building is a very smart development, a recently renovated 7-story apartment block with original brick facade, great views of the city skyline. Quiet, lovely, village feel, with parks and pedestrian areas just outside, but close enough to get anywhere very easily. I think I am allowed to say it is authentic. • This is a very large and comfortable space that you will be free to enjoy as you wish (this is your vacation after all). You will have lots of privacy and as well as the city, you have Books, Music (great as mentioned above), Roku TV with lots of channels and an online DVR and more .... or just relax and chat. Up to you. We provide the following publications too New York Times New York Magazine so you can feel a bit like a New Yorker • Located in the heart of Downtown - food (some of the best in the city), drink, fun, shopping all very, very close. A very cool residential neighborhood just a short trip to all the action. Perfect location for exploring both sides of the river too, as very close to Brooklyn and Williamsburg. One of the most historic neighborhoods in the U.S. (perhaps the most). We are only a few minutes away from the walkway along the East River, it has a great view of the Brooklyn bridge and Manhattan Bridge. Nearly opposite the Tenement Museum (which is really great). TV, Film and general interest media all the time (become a star - or an extra anyway) ,music clubs and comedy left right and center and Alphabet City, Ludlow Street , East Village, Chinatown and Soho all in spitting distance - and I can not spit far. Direct Access to cabs just outside building. • Food shopping wise, it is 3 blocks from a Whole Foods, the largest Trader Joe's on the east coast and few blocks from the new Essex Street Market. Great food shopping if you want. I hope everything is covered - email if you need more information. I hope to see you soon and I hope I can be part of your visit to this unique place.
Best neighborhood in Manhattan for independent coffee shops, cozy wine bars, up-and-coming restaurants (the area has 4 out of the top 10 best places to eat in this years NY magazine list) , intimate music venues, and interesting owner-operated shops. Like no other area in the city. A very peaceful cool neighborhood, yet just a short trip to all the action. Check out the "Guidebook" with my listing -- I send a much longer one that I have written directly to guests that do decide to stay before they get here - and they love it, mention it often in their reviews and keep asking for extra copies!!
  • Super nice and spacious apartment in a vibrant neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay. Carol and Marc were extremely accommodating , helpful and friendly. Super comfy bed too! Would highly recommend!

  • I had an amazing stay at Carol and Marc’s place. I felt like I was at home or staying with relatives. That’s how comfortable and welcoming they were. The place was as described. Lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance, very clean. Carol and Marc made great suggestions for breakfast and dinner. They went above and beyond what was expected of them. The bed was so comfortable. I wish the weather was nicer so we could have taken advantage of the terrace (next time). I highly recommend Carol and Marc’s place. This is the place you want to stay when visiting New York. Everything you can think of is just outside there door.

  • This is a large, clean and comfortable 3rd floor apartment with keyed elevator. Felt completely safe walking around at night. Very quiet street. Just 3 blocks to metro and trains taking you uptown. Great coffee shops and lots of cultures and cuisines to explore nearby. The hosts know every nook and cranny of the lower east side, so ask for their recommendations. Would stay there again.

  • We really enjoyed our stay with Marc and Carol. They both are delightful hosts and had so many suggestions for us first timers to NYC. We were given a guide ahead of time of so many things to do, places to see, and places to eat. Check in was super easy and a bit early, which didn’t seem to be a problem at all this particular day. Marc gave a short tutorial showing us how to get in the building and how to use the elevator. It was great not to have to navigate stairs with suitcases. The apartment was spacious and spotless and we had access to everything we needed. Having shampoo, conditioner, and body wash already there for us to use was nice. Especially since you don’t have to pack it in your suitcase, which makes it a bit lighter for the airport. We didn’t use the kitchen much as we didn’t want to cook for ourselves, but it seemed to have everything you’d need if you did decide to cook. The internet was great and there were lots of choices for tv streaming services. After a long day of walking outside in the cold, it was nice to get back, curl up on the sofa with lots of pillows, have a nice fire in the fireplace, and watch a little tv. Only bad thing was that we didn’t have enough time to see and do all the things we wanted. Well, that means we’ll need to come back and we will have this fantastic place to stay!

    Kathleen2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay! Carol and Mark are very nice and very welcoming. I love the location to be able to walk everywhere. Again, I highly recommend this as a great place to stay.

    William2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is AMAZING - the pictures don’t do it justice (the tub is a jacuzzi!)!! Carol and Marc were consummate hosts, their hospitality generous without being intrusive. The location is so close to the subway, we were able to easily travel throughout the city with no trouble at all, and the area was and felt safe at all times. We can’t wait to return to the city and spend more time there!!! Thank you 😊

    Kelly2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Ahhhhh :) what an amazing way to experience NYC. Firstly entering the apartment via an elevator set the mood immediately for the most new yorky stay ever! The apartment is amazing, all the beds all comfy, the shower lush, and the location brilliant. So much quieter than staying Central, which we loved. But not far away from anything! Close to subway and bus stops. And if you are tired (or have tired kids who don’t want to walk after you’ve been to the theatre) an Uber doesn’t break the bank to here either. Marc is just the sweetest gentleman and Carol is just lovely. Felt safe, felt welcome. Thank you guys :) I hope our paths cross again. Big loves xx

  • My girlfriend and I stayed here for a Valentine’s Day trip and it was absolutely wonderful. Marc and Carol are very kind and accommodating hosts to stay with. I highly recommend this place. It was very clean, communication was great, and it was overall a lovely experience in great area. We hope to stay with Marc and Carol again soon. 💛

  • Jeffery was such a charming person to be with. He makes you feel welcomed and gives you all the attention you need. He makes great breakfast with excellent coffee. It was like staying at my friends place. He gave me tips around the area and I was traveling solo but I never felt lonely. Thank you Jeffery. I loved having conversation with you!

    Keiko2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Another great stay at Jeffreys! He always goes out of his way to make my stay comfortable and easy! I love his cute boho apartment! Always inspires me with interior design ideas! Such a thoughtful book of tips and tricks left and so many great recommendations for travel, local food and activities. I thoroughly recommend you stay at Jeffreys, you will not regret it!

    Lucie2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Jeffrey is hands down the best host. I will never stay anywhere in NYC but this place. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know.

    Danielle2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Jeff is a wonderful host, who pays attention to details and is really dedicated to making you feel home! I really enjoyed talking with him, and he is full of nice tips for your trip in New York. His apartment is also very well located, Times Square is less than a 15 minutes walk away. On the whole, a great experience!

    Vera2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • All around excellent. Jeffrey treats his guests as if they’re old friends. A great conversationalist, he feeds you, he even let me borrow a shirt so I wouldn’t be cold walking around the city. A very genuine, down-to-earth, and caring human being. His apartment is cozy and centrally located. Highly recommended.

    Nicholas2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Jeffrey was out of town but made it so easy to check in and out, and frequently checked in. The location was perfect and his apartment makes you feel like you really live in NYC! It was so cool and the bar next door is awesome. I'll definitely stay again next time I'm in the city. Thanks Jeffrey!

    Zalika2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • I loved staying at Jeffrey's place. It's an older, what I'd call "classic" Hell's Kitchen apartment that's thoughtfully and lovingly inhabited by it's owner (who I didn't get to meet because he was out of town). Jeffrey's kindness was evident in his communication and in the vibe of his place. I'll be back soon!

Our three bedroom loft is just two blocks from the Bedford L stop with easy access to all of Manhattan. The neighborhood is very safe with plenty of restaurants, shops, and bars. There are house plants specifically chosen to purify the air.
This beautiful loft is centrally located in the exciting neighborhood of Williamsburg. The surrounding area is home to a variety of restaurants, bars, music venues and is two blocks from the Bedford L stop. Within 10 minutes you can be in Union Square with access to all Manhattan has to offer. (There is also a ferry that can take you to Wall Street in under 10 minutes, and a car service across the street.) But why go to Manhattan when there is so much nearby! Whether you are looking for fine dining or something more casual, there are many options all within 1-2 blocks. The 50 different house plants, each chosen for its ability to purify air, create an almost garden like feel to this urban oasis. There are three private bedrooms each with their own queen sized bed. Two of the bedrooms have windows but the third bedroom, which is centrally located, does not. In the Summer, each room has its own private air conditioning. Whether you want to be mixing up drinks in the kitchen, sitting down with friends to a meal in the dining room, or gathering in the living room for a movie or board game, there is plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable and happy. This loft provides an exceptional space to enjoy your experience in Williamsburg.
  • awesome place. fantastic neighborhood. such an easy check in and check out... you will love this place!

  • Can't beat the location. Right in the middle of Williamsburg on Bedford Avenue. lot of space.

    Atindra2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • Communicated well. The apartment was clean, quiet, love the fact that it's in the heart of bedford. We spent most of our time outside. But coming back to the apartment always felt cozy.

    Harryele2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place! Awesome location. I felt like a local in a hip NYC neighborhood.

    Benjamin2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is in a great location, near cafes and the met. Great base to explore Nee York.

    Anna2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a nice living room! This is an old original flat in the heart of Bedford Avenue, the most vibrant street in Williamsburg. The atmosphere is great and the view on the street as well. The rooms are spacious enough and the flat is well equipped. Internet works well and the access to Manhattan is easy. It is the perfect place to relax after a long day visiting the city. As the flat is old you have to take into account: heating noises overnight (original heating system), neighbors' noises during the day and an overall low level of cleanliness due to the original wood and plaster. That said, great location for a reasonable cost.

    Giulio2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very stylish apartment. Clean. Great shower. There were beers in the fridge, we did leave some in return. Good fast WiFi. Directly in the middle of Williamsburg next to some great bars and restaurants. 4 minutes from the L train which is 3 stops into manhattan, very easy and cheap to use this service, we bought a week pass for $31. The only thing was noise through the day from a nursery upstairs but that was from 9am therefore we were always up and out by then (apart from one hangover day). Ian was very good and quick at communicating which put us at ease when checking in/out. All in all a great place to stay, highly recommended.

    Jenny2019-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay here in Williamsburg. The appartment is very well located and nice to live. We were 5 people and it was perfect. We could have breakfast inside and sometimes dinner. Ian’s instructions were very good, he was also very reactive when I had questions and didn’t hesitate to come over to welcome us. Thanks a lot!

Apartment share on a quiet street in a lively neighborhood, this 2nd-fl walk-up is just blocks from NYU, Washington Sq Pk, SoHo, and Lower East Side. Grab Michelin-rated sushi or $3 PBRs within 50 feet (15 m) of the front door. East Village diversity at its finest.
Your large bedroom has a queen size mattress with a memory foam topper that is very comfortable. There's also a full-size air mattress for one extra guest. The room gets a lot of light from the large windows. The curtains and blinds keep it nice and dark at night. You will have access to the shared living room, kitchen, and bathroom. There is wi-fi, an Apple TV, cable TV and everything you need to feel right at home. The bedroom faces a rear courtyard, so street noise is minimal to non-existent. You may hear an occasional garden party. If they get too loud, let me know and I'll take care of it.
The East Village is socially and culturally diverse without being pretentious. New York's immigrant origins, 70s punk scene, and current food renaissance all energetically coexist in the East Village like nowhere else in Manhattan. You can seriously get Michelin-rated sushi or three-dollar PBRs within 50 feet (15 m) of the front door. Its residents, an unlikely mix of businesspeople, artists, laborers, designers, and nomads anachronistically make themselves at home among Old New York's Gilded Age and Pre-war brick-and-stone architectural hand-me-downs. Midtown's steel-and-glass landscape and the West Village's yuppie homogeneity haven't invaded the East Village...yet.
  • Sne is a wonderful host. The room was nice and cozy and very clean. It was also very quiet at night. We got some really useful tips on restaurants and other places to visit in New York. Sne even offered us delicious freshly baked bread. I definitely recommend to stay at Sne's apartment.

    Eugenia2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Just a fantastic place to stay with a wonderfully welcoming host in lower Manhattan. Convenient location , cool neighborhood, stylish, clean and surprisingly quiet room. Sne has truly mastered the art of air bnb hosting. I can't recommend any higher!

    Ruth2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • I would stay again with Sne. The place was very close to lots of different subway lines. There was lots of nice places to eat around the East Village. Sne also went above and beyond such as carrying my heavy suitcase up the stairs, and offering me coffee in the morning. The room was lovely and spacious which was such a blessing. I would love to stay again

    Claire2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Sne's apartment is clean, sunny and super convenient to getting around the city. More quiet than we expected, despite having with a bar and a coffee shop steps away from the front door. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone wanting to be close to the East Village and NYU, with easy access to the rest of Manhattan and even Brooklyn.

  • Reliable, low cost for New York. The host is very accommodating and has a wicked sense of humor! He has a little booklet filled with tips about the area and NY in general!

    Maria2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Sne’s place is absolutely amazing and Sne himself is awesome! The best Airbnb host we’ve ever had. Sne put together an awesome guide to the neighborhood with food recommendations and we had so much fun going on a food crawl around the East Village. He let us check in early, was super helpful and communicative, and was sooo friendly. The only “down” side to this is now we never want to stay anywhere else in New York! I would say this is a good problem to have. We will be back for sure!

Art school Pratt is cross the street, make this neighborhood safe and convenient. At the top(6th) floor, you could see the most beautiful manhattan skyline from our private balcony. Restaurants, bars, supermarket downstairs. Bus stop at my main entrance. Near manhattan bridge, very close to downtown manhattan! NOTE: this is a shared space with curtains as room dividers in the living room with shared bathroom with other Airbnb guest.
Note: this is a shared space in the living room area with room divider- curtains (slightly see through), with no door. But the apartment is a 1300 sq feet 2 bdr 2 bathrooms apt. You still have plenty of space for yourself.

I went to NYC to attend a concert at Barclays Center and Nancy’s place has the perfect location if you’re planning something like that, even if you wanna do something else, her place has easy access to bus and subway!

Large open plan studio. Larger than most studios in Hoboken. The location is outstanding! Situated on a sought after residential street and only a stones throw away from all the magic Hoboken has to offer. The neighborhood is home to many fine restaurants and shops. The Hoboken Cove and waterfront are two blocks away. Perfect for jogging, biking or taking in the the amazing view. Ferry, bus and train to NYC just minutes away ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING - Violators will be asked to leave.
Modern Chic Studio Apartment. Bright lighting, hard wood floors. Warm and inviting. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING - Violators will be asked to leave.
Awesome neighborhood! Quiet residential streets just a few blocks from dining, shopping and NYC transportation. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING - Violators will be asked to leave.
  • Excellent, just as expected.

  • I have to say ... I thoroughly. This is prime-prime real estate. I Soulcycle frequently and the pleasant surprise of it being across the street ( knowing they're strategic in their own RE selections) was just icing on the cake. Washington St. has any cuisine you could want. I'd recommend alfalfa & seven valleys. If all else fails ... grab the NY waterway 9$ and your in NY. The port to waterway is less than half a mile from Dave's spot. So in summary: Great host. Great spot. Great accents inside. Bigger than I thought is so accurate. Overall score 10/10 an awesome stay - no complaints. I would highly recommend this place.

    Rob2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Terrific open space for having a few people over while we were there. Has everything you need with parking close by. Would definitely use this one again.

  • Nice and big apartment. Was quiet, clean, and we enjoyed our stay a lot. We can definitely recommend it 👍

    Carsten2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Dave’s place was absolutely perfect for two people! The space was much bigger than I expected, and was stylish, clean, and convenient. It took less than a minute to walk to the bus stop, the nearest SoulCycle, and tons of restaurants. I expected to spend the majority of my time in NYC, but ended up loving the area of Hoboken so much more. This is the perfect place to stay for anyone planning to spend time in Hoboken or NYC!

    Mackenzie2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, great area! Highly recommended! Close to everything.

    Jack2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot. Especially if it’s just a couple getaway. Highly recommend.

    Shumuel2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely stay! Everything was very clean which can be hard to find so I was very content with the apartment. It was a little bigger than I thought which was another great feature it was perfect for two people; my boyfriend and I enjoyed the experience of the area, but it was even better after walking all day to get some rest in a quiet and cozy place. The block over was full of little shops and restaurants, and about 1 mile down is the train station to cross over to New York which was very convenient for our trip. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

Great apartment in top notch location! 7 minute walk to the path and 15 mins to nyc. Lots of grocery stores, bars, restaurants, laundry mats and whatever else you could possibly need! Apartment is decorated with love, it light/white bright and very zen! You’ll for sure feel cozy and at home.
Large and beautiful 1 bedroom apartment. It's a 7 minute walk to the train, 5 minute walk to the bus, 5 minutes to the grocery store and Washington street which had tons of bars, clubs and restaurants. Its 7 minutes to the pier where they have free outdoor movies, exercise classes and music. Pier 13 is a very fun outdoor drinking spot with awesome food trucks that's a 15 minute walk away. There is also laundry a half a block away. The apartment is full of natural light and lots of windows. It's furnished to create an environment of peace and relaxation. Adult coloring books, a meditation mat, and meditative reading material is laid out to create a beautiful environment for your enjoyment. There are plush carpets that line the apartment making it a very cozy and warm environment. The street is very safe and quaint. Please note**++4 flights of stairs (great for the glutes☺️). There is no elevator. The building itself is older and the hallways outside isnt the nicest. However, you will only be passing through it for 1 minute as you enter and exit the building. The hallway does not match the apartment. The kitchen has a juicer, Vitamix, oil-less fryer and kitchen aid incase you like smoothies and/or like to cook. You will be supplied with an iron and ironing board and bodywash/shampoo/conditioner for the shower. The apartment also has a mini fan and ac to keep you cool in hot summer months! ****Please let me know if you will need couch set up into second bed. I am more than happy to give recommendations and I look forward to having you as a guest!! Checkin: I am very flexible with checking in and out as long as it can be accommodated! Keys are left in front porch In a drop box for easy access. We have a Roku if you are looking to watch your tv subscriptions on the tv! :)
Tons of restaurants, shops, grocery stores and parks! It's smack in the middle of everything and you are so close to the train and public transportation! Read more under "Space" for additional details!
  • Very nice place, everything is as you see in the picture. The host was very friendly and checked up on me to make sure I am comfortable. She had even the smallest house hold items, I felt like I was in my own home and definitely would stay there again.

    Elizabeth2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first time using airbnb, and it definitely wont be my last. Communication was fast, check in was easy, the apartment was spotless and Al was such a kind and caring host. I will definitely look into staying here again if its available when I'm in the city again!

    Zach2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Al was a fantastic host! She has great communication with very quick responses, was organized as well as accommodating, and was available to answer any questions I had. Her place is super cute and stylish, with homey touches, including a book with local tips and recommendations for the area. I would absolutely stay there again!

    Christa2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Nice, quiet apartment. Host was responsive and welcoming.

    Arsenii2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved staying at Al’s place. It was super cozy, everything we needed after a day exploring the city. We also loved staying Hoboken! It basically has the vibe of a large village, very comfortable to come back to after the hustle bustle of Manhattan or Brooklyn even. Everything we need was close by! Highly recommend Tony Baloney’s just down the street for some really good pizza slices. Al was so amazing at communicating with us. We had some issues connecting the TV but she was so helpful and quick to respond. The only thing that could be a slight improvement was there seemed to be a lot of nearly empty or old food in the fridge and cupboards from previous guests. It kinda felt like I was staying at a friends place, which I don’t hate. Honestly though would be so happy to stay again, highly recommend. Thanks Al!

    Teresa2020-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very good location, the path to NY is much faster than staying in Brooklyn or other areas and the neighborhood is quieter and full of business. The apartment is spacious and comfortable although it is old like the whole area.

    Pablo2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • From start to finish it was awesome! Al was super helpful and her responses were super quick. The apartment has everything you will need for the stay. All we brought was toothbrushes :) You have everything close bars , restaurants and buddys bakery! And also the mall☺️ traveling from and to NYC was super easy because the Path train is super close! That was a plus also! Our first time using Airbnb and for our anniversary was the best vacay so far! I would definitely recommend to any friends or family members to stay at Al’s place. Thank you!💜

We are both artists and the apartment reflects that with an eclectic and comfortable vibe. We have hung photographs from our travels around the world and hope that you will be comfortable in this space.
We are one block from Washington Street which is the main road and runs from North to South of Hoboken.

  • Comfortable, great location, clean. Close to Washington St. restaurants and shopping and public transit a short walk away. Host is accommodating and easy to communicate with him.

    Maryellen2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed here for two weeks in February. It is in a perfect location, short walking distance to everything in Hoboken. Quick and easy access to Manhattan. The owners were super quick to respond when we had questions or needed help. I used to live in Hoboken so it was nice to be able to stay there again in an apartment rather than a hotel. Two new (to me) fabulous restaurants since I moved away: The Cuban and The Antique Bar and Bakery. I highly recommend both of them. This is a basement apartment so there are a few things to note that may bother some people: You can hear all the footsteps and noise from the first floor which woke us up in the morning and the tub does not drain very well. But despite that, I would highly recommend staying here. It is a great apartment and location for the price.

    Erika2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent place to stay!

    Shi2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • I truly enjoyed my AirBnB experience with Mac! He was phenomenal! The place was extremely clean, very safe, and beautiful! The bed was super comfy and I really felt at home. I only used the private apartment to rest and prepare for my full day in NYC! Besides that, I had no issues really. It was very thoughtful of him to provide restaurant recommendations and I did not get a chance to use the large tv in the living room. There is a full kitchen with a standard refrigerator (and a cold water pitcher waiting for me), toaster, microwave, and a portable heater just in case if I was too cold. There was an extra blanket and the sofa was really comfortable. You can literally walk and Uber anywhere! Everytime I called an Uber, my wait time was ALWAYS 2 minutes or less. The next time I come to NYC, I will definitely stay again at Mac's place! Thank you Mac for being so attentive, thoughtful, and providing quick responses to my questions!

    Brittany2020-01-19T00:00:00Z

Lovely studio, perfectly located in Hoboken, just a few blocks (8 minute walk) to the Hoboken Path Train / Subway to NYC. This is a central location in the famous and vibrant city of Hoboken, with tons of bars, restaurants, and cafes all around.
Corner unit with lots of windows and all the amenities you need.
Hoboken is a fantastic neighborhood - everything is within walking distance! This apartment is near shops, restaurants, transportation, everything!
  • If I leave a negative review here maybe I can get this place all to myself.. 🤔 This was a clean and complete place. It was comfortable and quiet and extremely well located for Hoboken and the City. It’ll be my go to spot now.

    Robin2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • A great alternative to staying in Manhattan - much better value (though still a bit pricey as it is close to New York - to be expected though). Around the corner from lots of great places to eat and drink, as well as grocery shops. The PATH train is just a 15 minute walk away so Manhattan is easily accessible (though you should note that PATH trains stop running at midnight, so if you plan on having lots of late nights in Manhattan, an Uber/Taxi is $35+ as an alternative). The apartment was clean, Netflix on the smart TV was a nice touch! If I had to critique, it took us a while to work out how to open the blinds (we never asked for instructions as we were too stubborn and wanted to figure it out ourselves! - I'm sure if we had asked for help, it would have been no problem. Responses were almost always prompt). We also couldn't get the oven working, and the shower head was closer to a tap than a shower - nothing that bothered us though. The bed was comfy, and check-in instructions were a piece of cake to follow. Best of all, just a 5 minute walk from the Hudson, where you can have beautiful views of the skyline. Would highly recommend!

    Alex2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • A great experience ... The place is tiny but necessary for a couple ... Very clean and tidy! Complimentary coffee is appreciated! The best location, with many restaurants around and transportation to Manhathan a few blocks ... Super recommended! I would repeat!

  • Would recommend Ken’s place, it’s convenient to trains to get into Manhattan. Hoboken is such a lovely part of New Jersey we would definitely stay here again it’s clean & cosy just perfect for 1 or 2 people. Also Ken was so kind to let us have a late check out at short notice “thanks again” hopefully we’ll be visiting again.

The natural wonder of the Backyard and cozying up by the garden, it’s a real home from home that will make your trip an unforgettable one.
An amazing home located in the heart of a burgeoning arts community in Jersey City Heights' Riverview Arts District - a close community of artists, where new restaurants, coffee shops and juice bars pop up almost monthly. Can't beat the location - only 5 blocks to 9th St light rail station, 2 blocks to bus stop to NY and Riverview Fisk Park - a lively park bustling with market/music activity and panoramic views of NYC. •The neighborhood JM homes.Place is located in Jersey City, New Jersey, United States. Charming and unassuming neighborhood. We rented an apartment at the adjoining street (Ogden) and fell in love with the neighborhood. The park down the street has stunning views of the New York Skyline. And of course access to New York City is super fast, as it is to downtown JC and Hoboken. Below is an overview of some of our favorites in the neighborhood. •Laundry The house is come with a brand new washer and dryer with detergent. You don't have to do out side laundry. •Supermarkets Supremo Food Market, which is 5 blocks down Palisade ave. Take a left coming out of the apartment and it’s on your right. Decent supermarket with products geared to local Latino residents. Good prices. Nice bakery. There is a small parking lot across the street from the store. •Stop N shop: Central Ave and Manhattan ave. ShopRite in Hoboken, which is within walking distance if you take the elevator down to Hoboken (instructions in Travel/Transit section), go straight on 9th street, left on Madison. •Liquor Stores Lee’s Liquors. 45 Congress and New York Avenue. Decent selection of beers and surprisingly good wine selection. Palisades Liquors. 401 Palisade. About a ten minute walk south of here. Convenience/Specialty/Grocery/Bodega Peter’s Grocery at 50 South street, corner of Webster. Oaxaca at Palisade near Bowers (left out of the apartment, across the street). Rite Aid: On Central ave. Kennedy Department Store on Central, 270 Central Avenue. Housewares, clothing. Youngs Farm (Central at Hutton) Good low-cost produce options. Andrews Salumeria: (Central at Franklin) Italian deli goods. Stanley's Prime Meat Market 425 Central Ave: Polish butcher •Restaurants/Coffee The neighborhood is not a culinary mecca, but there are some quality options. Many of them are on Central Avenue, about a ten minute walk up South street. (cross Palisade and walk west). Dulce de Leche Bakery 376 Central Avenue Jersey City, NJ 07307 Bakery cafe serving breakfast & lunch, an extensive variety of pastries & breads baked fresh daily, custom cakes and desserts Ozu Foods: 106 Hutton St. ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). New arrival! Haven’t been there but reviews are solid, Japanese food. (URL HIDDEN) La Rumba Café, 513 Central Avenue – (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) (URL HIDDEN) Really delicious, authentic Cuban food at very reasonable prices. Call ahead and pick up. Noodlefan at 514 Central. Recommended Thai Good Year Chinese, 416 Central Avenue – (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Call for delivery. Menu on Yelp. Sit-down restaurant as well. Closed Monday. Fortune Chinese: 352 Palisade Ave Jersey City, NJ (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Recently recommended take-out by a guest. Renato’s Pizza masters 278 Central Ave, Jersey City, NJ (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Gino's pizza 380 Central Ave, Jersey City, NJ (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Mod Cup – new Hipster-ish coffee joint on Palisade opposite Riverview Park. About a 5 minute walk south on Palisade (left out of the apartment). There are a few seats but it’s mostly for takeaway. •Other Jersey City/Hoboken Recommendations Jersey City and Hoboken have a lot of high quality restaurants. Below are some favorites or recommended options. None of these are in the immediate area of 554a, but all 5-10 minutes by car. Razza 275 Grove Street, Jersey City: High end pizza Thirty Acres 500 Jersey Ave, Jersey City, NJ 0730: Chefs used to work at highly hyped Momofuku in NYC. Entrees $18-26 range. Taqueria Downtown: 236 Grove St, Jersey City, NJ 07302. Good affordable Mexican, fun vibe. Ibby's Falafel 303 Grove St, Jersey City, NJ 07302: No frills but excellent falafel La Isla: 104 Washington Street Hoboken. Affordable BYO, very small, not great for big groups. Karma Kafe: 505 Washington Street Hoboken. Good Indian food in Hoboken. • Bars The Trolley Car, 328 Palisade. Hipster/artist crowd. Nice back patio open in good weather. Burgers. AJ’s on Palisade, 594 Palisade. Sports bar with wings, burgers. Mix of local crowd and hipster newcomers. The Corkscrew, 61 Congress. Recently renovated, craft beers. Pilsener Haus & Biergarten: Beer garden in Hoboken. About a 20 minute walk, 5 minute ride. Sausages, beer & other Austrian-Hungarian favorites served at communal tables indoors & out. 1422 Grand St, Hoboken, NJ 0703 •Getting around There are several ways to get to New York City from the apartment but the most convenient are by bus. To Midtown Manhattan The easiest way to Manhattan is by NJ Transit. There are two lines: Rt. 123 and 119. The bus stop for rt. 123 is directly outside the house at Palisade and South. The stop for route 119 is at Congress and Palisade Ave. You can wait at that corner and get whichever bus comes first. BUT, be aware the stop for route 119 is across the street on Palisade at Congress, while the 123 stop is on our side of Palisade. So you need to keep your eyes out and be ready to cross the street quickly if you do this! *When taking the NJ transit bus back from Port Authority, you need to buy tickets before boarding the bus. The fare is $4.50, and you must have exact change. (Budget tip: if you take the route 119 and get on at the next stop at Paterson Plank Road at Congress the fare is only $3.50). There is an apps called Citymapper that can make the process a lot easier. Enter where you’re going and it tells you the best route and the times of the next bus. There are also a series of jitney’s that run on the same line. They cost only $2 but they’re often full and only run during rush hour. To Downtown NYC Two main ways to get to downtown Manhattan are: 1: Take the 87 Bus on Palisade ave. to EITHER the Journal Square PATH station or Hoboken PATH station. Via Journal Square: To go to Journal Square this you will go outside, cross Palisade avenue, and wait at the bus stop across the street (by the Tortilla place). You’ll need $1.50. The Journal Square stop should be announced, you’ll only be on the bus for a few minutes. At Journal Square, look for signs for the PATH train. You’ll need to buy either a PATH card or Metrocard. Metrocard might be preferable as you can use it on the NYC subways as well. The fare is $2.50. Find a machine and buy a credit card, adding as much value as you think you’ll need. You can take the PATH to either World Trade Center (to go to the lower tip of Manhattan) or the 33rd street line which has stops through downtown New York around 6th Avenue. Via Hoboken: You catch the 87 bus right outside our door on our side of the street. Get off at Hoboken which should be the final stop. The PATH station is right where the busses get off. Same PATH instructions as above. 2: Or if you prefer, you can take the light rail. This will take a bit longer, but might be a nicer trip, particularly if you want to walk around Hoboken, which is a nice town. You take a right outside the apartment, walk to Congress, and take a right. At the end of Congress you should see a large elevator structure. Take the elevator down and you’ll be at the light rail station. Take a light rail train to Hoboken (should say HBLR Hoboken). Hoboken will be the last stop. You then take a PATH train, either to World Trade Center to go far downtown, or the 33rd street train which has stops through downtown New York. Another route by light rail is to take the train to Newport instead of Hoboken. From the 9th street station you’ll look for a train that says HBLR West Side). Take that to Newport stop. When you get there you will need to walk one block across Washington Ave (a large road) to the Newport PATH Station. This will take you on the 33rd street line. To Hoboken Jersey City Heights is just steps to Hoboken down a very steep hill. There are two ways to get there. One is to take a right outside the apartment, walk to Congress, and take a right. At the end of Congress you should see a large elevator structure. Take the elevator down and you’ll be at the light rail station in Hoboken. You can take the light rail two stops to get to the heart of Hoboken. The main drag is called Washington street. The other is to take a left outside the apartment, turn left at Franklin Street, and take the large stairway down. If you walk straight ahead you’ll be on 1st street. If you go straight on 1st you’ll end up in the heart of Hoboken. Parking Street parking is limited to two hours during the day and free after 5 pm during weekday. Weekend is free. You need a permit to park on our streets for any longer than 2 hours between 8am-5pm during the week. Short term permits can be purchased for $5 a day at the Jersey City Parking Authority, at 394 Central Ave. just a few blocks from the house If you plan to use the car during the day you might not need a pass. You scratch off only the day you're using it and display that on your car. IMPORTANT POINT: keep in mind that even if you have a pass, you need to make sure to park in a valid spot. There are street cleanings periodically where certain spots become no parking zones for a set amount of time twice a week. Check the signs closely (even if you don't see one right near the car). The police will ticket.
  • Well organized and clean.

  • This place is very lovely. I’ve stayed here twice now and will definitely do so again. Public transportation is a real close by. There’s everything you need in terms of a wonderful bathroom and a wonderful kitchen. The bed is comfortable in the host makes it really easy to check in and check out. A great value as well. Thank you so much!

  • Great stay, very comfy and calm street with not too much traffic and noise. Very close to food places and NYC. 30 min ($35-50) Uber drive !

    Mia2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Nice stay really beautiful and clean. The bathroom is big and amazing, has two sinks and a walk in shower which was super cool. The living room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The kitchen also has the basic items needed like pans, pots, forks, plates, etc. salt pepper and sugar, so no need to buy any of those since there at the house already. Neighbors were silent don’t know why the reviews said they were loud when they were actually really silent. Overall this is a great stay and if you plan on staying here you’ll enjoy it. Definitely will come back.

  • Very clean and nice space! Accurate to photos and convenient location. Super easy to get into the city! Parking was a little confusing but we figured it out. Definitely would recommend!

    Sergio2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place to stay for 2 persons, although can sleep 4. Buses are regular and far cheaper than taxis. Must have exact change, or can purchase a pass on the app. Citymapper app a must for public transport. Shop opposite that sells most things including coffee to go.

  • Great place! Very easy and convenient to get to Manhattan. Took us about 15mins by shuttle. I would recommend to let Bruno know to leave you the parking pass since there is no parking aloud unless you have the permit. Overall great trip and would probably book with Bruno again.

  • Cozy and comfortable place, and Bruno very friendly and quick to answer.

    Gabriela2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Bruno’s apartment was nice and clean, had all the equipments we needed and the communication with the host was fast and clear. The apartment was very well located and perfect for a short stay. With the 123/125 bus we could get to NYC within just 15 mins. Dunkin Donuts, and markets were just 5mins walk from the apartment which was nice. Neighborhood is calm and it’s always nice to come home and relax after all the NYC rush! I recommend this lovely place.

    Divyanie2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Bruno's place was perfect! Easy, quick and affordable commute to NYC (literally 10-20 mins). The place was clean, and my friends and I particularly loved the set up and the beds were very comfortable! There are also a lot of bodegas, and stores for quick bites, groceries etc. around the area! Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting NYC.

The Renovated Downtown Walk-up Location, location, location! Just across the Hudson River from Manhattan in charming Hoboken, NJ, this historic brick building is tucked away on a cobblestone lane, steps from dining, shopping and nightlife downtown. There's some interesting history here! This lane originally provided access to the residents' mews, or stables. It was also a film location in the Marlon Brando movie, "On the Waterfront" in 1955, when Hoboken was home to many dock hands and sailors. The cobblestone paving stones were ships’ ballast in the 1800s. Recently renovated apartments have upscale kitchens and bathrooms, stylish contemporary décor, designer lighting and high-profile windows that let in lots of sun. Stroll to great restaurants, bars, one-of-a-kind boutiques and Hoboken's wonderful waterfront parks and piers. Carlo’s Bakery, featured on the hit TV show “Cake Boss”, is right in the neighborhood! The 3-Bedroom Loft-style Apartment After a day exploring Manhattan, sink into the living room sofa or leather recliner and review your day. With its Mid-century furnishings, marble surfaces and beautifully curated illustrations and graphics, this is a stylish and completely comfortable home away from home. With a wealth of great restaurants waiting just around the corner, you could easily decide to dine out in Hoboken every night. But you’ll love having the option to cook in the well-stocked kitchen, equipped with the latest stainless-steel appliances, and enjoy your morning coffee at the large kitchen island. Relax after dinner and watch a movie or your favorite show on the 65-inch Smart TV, which puts all the premium channels you love at your fingertips. We promise you the best night’s sleep you can imagine! The queen-size bed in the master bedroom has a super-comfortable Leesa memory foam mattress and is layered with crisp, white linens, a down comforter and coverlet. This bedroom has an elegant en suite bathroom. The second bedroom, with a king-size bed, promises the same luxurious sleeping experience. There are two twin beds in the third bedroom and the living room sofa opens into a queen-size bed to accommodate groups of up to eight. Both the en-suite master bathroom and a second full bathroom are outfitted in marble, with sleek spa-style finishes. Enjoy the convenience of wall-mounted dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and body wash—courtesy of Deedee!
The neighborhood Just one-square-mile (2.5 square kilometers) in size, Hoboken is a small town with everything you love about city life. Washington Street is the main thoroughfare, lined with great restaurants, bars bistro-pubs and rooftop bars. Spend an afternoon exploring quaint cobblestone streets, where you’ll find one-of-a-kind boutiques. Take in the stunning views of NYC as you bike or stroll along the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, visiting parks and piers on with way. Throughout the year, Hoboken hosts a wide range of concerts and a full schedule of festivals celebrating the arts and food—from Restaurant Week to The Mutz (Mozzarella) Festival. There’s a youthful energy here that’s infectious.
  • Deedee's apartment is beautiful, airy, modern and thoughtfully renovated. The kitchen is incredible. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are spotless. The living room is a perfect common space. It is a 2 story walk up, but as long as stairs don't bother you, this apartment is in a FABULOUS location. Easy public garage parking nearby if needed. Only 3 blocks to the PATH, 2 blocks to the river and the restaurants and shops are all just right downstairs. So lovely!

  • Good spot. Great location and DeeDee is a very good host. Place was clean and very stylish. There is quite a few stairs, and a local gym can be noisy, so be aware of that, but our trip was exactly as hoped and I would definitely stay again.

    John2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We recently spent 3 days here. The unit was super clean, spacious and well appointed. The location could not have been more perfect and our host was very responsive to questions. The only downside was the music from the fitness studio (particularly weekdays), but in all fairness it is stated in the description and some comments.

    Nanette2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very well located. Steps away from stores and restaurants. Close to subway station to NYC as well. Place was immaculate clean, very spacious and fully equipped. We had a great time and fully recommend it. We plan to come back soon. Great experience.

  • Clean and large place that is in an awesome location in Hoboken. Plenty of room for 8 people and an amazing and large kitchen and open living room. The island in the kitchen is great and we took advantage of the large TV for NFL playoff games. Plenty of places to eat and drink right outside of the place. Highly suggest!

I have a cozy, smoke-free 1 BR apt with exposed brick, D/W, W/D, 25 in flat screen tv & wifi. It's a quick (15 min) bus or train ride to NYC, and close to bars, restaurants and shopping but far enough that they won't keep you up all hours.
Hoboken's greatest treasure is its "old school" Italian delis, bakeries and restaurants. Grab some pastries at the famous Carlos Bakery (aka Cake Boss) or fresh mozzarella a block away at the legendary Fiores Deli. Rumor has it that that Frank Sinatra had it flown to him after he left NJ. Hoboken has more bars and restaurants in its one square mile than anywhere else in the country. My apartment is close enough to walk and enjoy a night out, but far enough that the nightlife won't keep you up all night! It's a quick ride into NYC by train, ferry or bus. And just a few blocks away is the waterfront with stunning views of NYC skyline. It's a stunning photo-op that shouldn't be missed.

  • We had a wonderful experience at Alejandro’s Hoboken apartment! The apartment was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. The Path train to the city was a 10 minute walk away-very convenient! We also loved being able to walk to restaurants and coffee shops in the nearby area.

    Melissa2019-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • Alejandro's place is exactly as seen in the photos. It's cozy, beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. It's a little difficult to locate the entrance initially (especially at night time) however Alejandro is quick to reply to any messages and was very kind/helpful. It's definitely stay when back in the area. A quick walk to Washington Street which is full of restaurants, shops and cafes. It is also only a couple blocks away from municipal parking and about a 5-10 minute walk to the PATH which takes you directly into Manhattan. All in all a very pleasant stay. Will definitely be back !

Alejandro is very helpful with any questions and his suggestions for eating out were spot on. I would definitely stay here again.

  • The apartment was very nice and sparkling clean. The location was perfect too. After staying here for a few days, I’m really considering moving to the Hoboken area. Everything was walking distance away. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here, this was the perfect spot for our little romantic getaway. The only downside was that there isn’t a clothing iron in the apartment. It also would’ve been great to have the TV inside the bedroom as opposed to the living room because it wasn’t very comfortable in the living room. Overall my stay was great and Alex was extremely helpful the few times we communicated during our stay.

Both bedrooms contain Queen beds while the living room has a pull-out sofa with a Queen mattress. Central air & heat as well as lots of natural light make this a great apartment!
The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment for maximum privacy. One of the bedrooms has a small balcony.

  • This apartment is perfect! Fully equipped kitchen. Super spacious. TV has all the apps in it (like Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, etc). Walking distance to a lot of great restaurants! Uber into the city was under $25 and totally worth it. Mike was an AMAZING host. Super accommodating and answered all questions and concerns right away. In the apartment there’s a binder that will answer all of your questions and even has suggestions for restaurants and things to do in Hoboken and close by. I’m going back in June and will definitely rebook this apartment if it’s available!!!

  • This BNB is a convenient spot in union city. There are restaurants and grocery stores to walk to. There are also bus stops in walking distance. The Hoboken 14th street ferry is a 24min walk. The ferry was the easiest way of transport for me personally. It’s an easy way to get to midtown. The BNB is great for tourist wanting to visit New York. Everything we needed was provided. It’s a very private BNB. If you’re looking for somewhere out of the big city while you’re visiting, this is the perfect spot. Very nice people.

    Katherine2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Easy check in, place was exactly what we expected. Showers were nice. Location was alright, only three blocks away from bus stop to midtown Manhattan. However, cost of commuting to and from NY added up and it may have been more cost/time efficient to just find a place in Manhattan.

    Kevin2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Bruno's place was great--it was clean, comfy and convenient. There were helpful guides for folks who are looking to explore the area and New York City in two languages as well as information about nearby bus routes. The previous guests forgot to leave the parking pass, but Bruno and his team were able to get us a new one in less than 30 minutes! Parking is a bit of a chore, but it's too be expected in Union City. I hope that we can stay here whenever we visit my boyfriend's family in the area.

  • Excellent accommodation, all very clean.

    Constanza2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment offered by Marcia has all the qualities required for an excellent stay in NYC. Located in a rather chic "suburb", Manhattan is easily accessible thanks to the NJ Transit bus, route 126 which frequently passes a few meters. It's good to be calm after the bustle of New York. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, the bedding excellent and the linen very pretty. I felt good and at home. Impeccable cleanliness. I found a supermarket to do some shopping within 10 min walk (ShopRite, with "normal" prices, because NY is expensive when you have all your meals at the restaurant). There are a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood, with a special mention for the 'Rigatoncini pistachios, schrimps and smoked bacon' at Sorellina ... In short, I have nothing but good to say about my experience at Marcia, and Obviously, this is where I will stay on my next trip to NYC!

  • Everything is good.

    Karl2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Marcia was there to greet us and help us settle in, then we spent numerous hours walking almost every street in Hoboken! I loved the location and ease of walking out the door to the 126 to nyc!

  • Excellent spot!! Great host. Thank you Ted!

    Julie2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot in the heart of Hoboken! Location, location, location. We were mostly able to walk to everything. Stylish space with thought and extra perks like snacks and drinks :) great space for two people. My own complaint is I wish it was a queen size bed, but we knew this before checking in. Overall, Ted’s place is great and he is very responsive and helpful when it comes to parking recommendations, restaurants, and more! Love that he provides daily parking passes!

    Nicole2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Ted, thank you for your help with my stay at your terrific studio. Great location with coffee, snacks and parking passes, too. Nice digs!

    Bob And Beth2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is a perfect location for a visit to NYC since transportation is a breeze so it’s almost like staying in Manhattan but quieter and cheaper. Checked in with no trouble and the flat was very clean and smartly decorated. Ted included thoughtful touches like coffee and tea, snacks, water and wine - so welcoming for this weary traveler. No kitchen so no cooking but there are tons of great restaurants within walking distance where you’ll be happy to spend your money. You can’t do better for a short or long stay in Hoboken!

  • A super nice place to stay in a perfect location. Ted is a very good host, I've rarely felt in good hands with an Airbnb. The next time I am in the vicinity, I will definitely book this accommodation again. I can recommend myself with a very clear conscience. :)

  • Dan's attention to guests is first-rate. His place is clean and well-appointed, and he is a quick communicator. We travel to Hoboken 4-6 times a year. Dan is always our first choice for a place to stay.

  • Dan's place perfect, from the location to the amenities, I couldn't have asked for anything else better. As far as Dan goes, he is one of the best host I have ever dealt with!!!! I will definitely be rebooking Dan's place everytime I go to Hoboken!

    Joe2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great one bedroom unit close to Washington street in Hoboken. Comfortable bed and good sized lounge room. Only one flight up and code lock was very convenient. It is over the top of two shops, which is handy for suppliers and something to drink, but the refrigeration units out the back can be a bit noisy in the bedroom at night. We stayed for over a week, and were really comfortable in the unit. Make sure you get a sandwich from Losurdo’s deli one block up on 2nd st while you are there; the best!

    Aaron2020-02-01T00:00:00Z

Hoboken is located across New York City on the left bank of the Hudson. Commuting to NYC is very easy - the bus to Port Authority (near Times Square) stops around the corner and takes 15 minutes to the city. Walk a few blocks north and you can take the ferry to Midtown or the Financial District, and walk a few blocks south and you can take the PATH train which runs 24/7 up 6th Avenue in Manhattan. But Hoboken itself has a lot to offer. Bwé Coffee is around the corner, four of the best restaurants (Anthony Davids, Elysian Cafe, Bin 14 and Amanda's) in town are literally on the same block as the apartment. From restaurants to sports bars and Irish pubs, Starbucks, Schnackenberg's Luncheonette to Carlos' Bake Shop ( the Cake Boss), we have it all, including a beautiful view of Manhattan.
  • Great, clean and place that has easy access to NYC. Happy with the stay and the host were very helpful.

  • The Hoboken district is a very nice, quiet neighborhood in New Jersey, from the accommodation you can easily get to Manhattan. Either by bus (bus stop just around the corner) or by subway (about 15 minutes on foot) So it's ideal to start your business from here

    Susana2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Would highly recommend this apartment. Fantastic location & a fantastic host. Perfect to get out of the hustle & bustle of NY after a busy day but still plenty to do & see in Hoboken

  • Nersel’s place is fully equipped with all the amenities you will need for short or longer stays while visiting New York or New Jersey, in a quiet and well kept street, close to the heart of Hoboken, and a leisurely walk to the Path station. The room itself is very clean and comfortable, with private/seperate and secure entry via a few stairs. I would stay there again.

    Christian2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Super accommodation in Hoboken, 5 minutes from the waterfront overlooking the skyline. Depending on the time of day, bus 136 takes 15-30 minutes to the center of New York. The bus runs constantly, is really recommended and was also more convenient than crowded subway drive. The accommodation is in the basement and is therefore dark, but we were only there to sleep. There is plenty of room for 2 people, for NY rather unusual :-) What is great is the kitchenette, so there is the possibility to have breakfast in the accommodation or to cook tea etc.

  • Dan’s place is great. If you are looking for value for your money, look no further. It is minutes walk from Path. Just one call out, there is a club or something downstairs and Saturday night was a bit noisy; that said Dan had already mentioned that in the apartment details so I was well informed and not at all bothered.

    Haider2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Dan‘s apartment. Very easy check in and communication and the location is perfect! Would come back anytime :) (Tip: get coffee and bagels to go around the corner at bagel express and enjoy breakfast at the waterfront with view on the city)

  • Andrews place was super comfortable. The beds were amazing. Super clean. The NJ to NY bus was only $3.50 and a 5 minute walk from the Airbnb. Andrew responses super quickly to the million questions i had about the area. Great host.

  • It is certainly a great place to stay and discover New York, Andrew is very attentive and is ready to give you recommendations. The apartment is very nice and clean, also the neighborhood in which it is located is very quiet. It is only 10 minutes from Manhattan by bus or 5 minutes by ferry. I definitely recommend it.

  • A little off the beaten path but closer to everything, this Airbnb was in a sweet neighborhood, peaceful with loads of parking. And the apartment itself was stylish, comfortable bed - I only used one of the two bedrooms. And one of the two bathrooms. Stay away so I can book it again for myself.
