The apartment is in a large house covered with American vines in the center of the town of Borgo San Lorenzo. The house consists of a double bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. Outside there is a courtyard of gray stones and an organic garden full of vegetables grown with love and ancient flowers of yesteryear. The accommodation is for two people, single or as a couple, but there is also the possibility of adding a cot if there is a child present. The Mugello valley has small treasures of rare beauty: the medieval village of Scarperia, the Romanesque churches of Borgo S. Lorenzo, Sant'Agata and the small town of San Giovanni, the house of the painter Giotto in Vicchio. It is located in Settignano, a small neighborhood 6 km from the center of Florence with bus n.10 which end of line is only 50 meters from the access gate of the house. In 15 minutes you can easily reach the center of the city. Beside the gate there s the bar Vida, always full of delicious pastries and fresh tramezzino sandwiches.
