A charming 18th Century fisherman's cottage with stunning views over the Salcombe estuary, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our quaint 3 bedroom property is a one minute walk to the centre of Salcombe, with access to the beautiful beaches of East Portlemouth and South Devon coastal path. (Be warned, the cottage is old and has some low beams so please be careful.)
The large first floor open plan living/ dining room has sun-bathed views over the Salcombe estuary. The cottage is accessed via the one way street out of Salcombe and is perfectly situated for all that this beautiful town has to offer.
Salcombe has a number of beautiful beaches and a range of costal and inland walks. The estuary is home to most watersports and is widely recognised by sailors. Surfing can be done in the esturary and 20 minutes away there are excellent surfing beaches. After a long day outdoors the town has a number of pubs and eateries selling good food local produce.

Lots of home comforts, a great utility space downstairs for wetsuits etc, lots of storage and 3 well designed cosy bedrooms.

  • This is a lovely wee place. The real selling point is the living room which is really super, very comfortable with the most gorgeous view. If you're going to a UK seaside location you really need to know that you want to spend time in the property if it's raining and you certainly do here. The house is very well equipped versus some AirBnbs so we really wanted for nothing. We parked in the long stay and walked up - it is a pain for unloading/loading and another consideration but it's totally doable. Whilst we knew about it my Partner DID keep bumping his head on the low doors which did end up being a bit of angst but it's an old property so we accept that quirk!

    21 Island Street is a lovely period fisherman's holiday cottage, perfectly located next to the beautiful Salcombe Estuary, 50 metres from the waters edge and a 2 min level walk to the centre of town. This lovely cottage is a great destination for family beach holidays or grown-up weekend escapes, with the nearby pristine beaches, epic coastal walks, and all that Salcombe has to offer. - pet friendly. We have the property opposite available too for larger groups!
    The cottage has two bedrooms and can sleep 4 guests. This lovely cottage is a great destination for family beach holidays or grown-up seaside escapes, with the nearby pristine beaches, epic coastal walks, and Salcombe's cosy pubs and excellent restaurants. We have a property opposite so great for extended families and friends too! we have a parking permit that is available for £40 per week or £25 per short stay which gives you access to the car park at the bottom of the road and lots of other parking in the wider area. We ask at the time of booking whether you would like the permit. Please note there is no parking at the premises
    Salcombe offers all the elements for a perfect British holiday all year round. It is an area of outstanding natural beauty and is the best town in Devon for a family holiday or a relaxed grown up year round break to walk on the cliffs and explore the local area. Salcombe offers world class beaches, clean water and from the cottage you could arrange to go fishing, diving, sailing, water skiing, golfing, walking on the magnificent Bolt Head or just go and enjoy Salcombe's pubs and restaurants, which are less than 5 minutes' walk from the cottage. Diving, sailing, walking, fishing and a great number of watersports can be arranged very easily. A small ferry only 5 minutes from the cottage connects the town with the beautiful white sand beaches of east Portlemouth, and children will love crabbing off the estuary walls at the end of Island Street.

    Just a short stroll from the main town centre of Salcombe. 10 minute walk down the hill but 10/15 minute walk back up. Its not a major problem but note the hill is steep. Close enough to enjoy the activity of the town but far enough away to escape and find peace should you need. Less than a minute away from the local spar store and post office.

    Whinfield is a contemporary architect designed large open plan Salcombe home. It has three very spacious comfortable en-suite bedrooms. There is an open plan breakfast area and a garden patio to enjoy your breakfast in the morning sunshine.
    Herbert Road is a broad beech tree lined avenue leading into the town centre. From Whinfield there is just a 3 minute walk to the Spar corner shop. The many restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs in town are a 10 minute walk away. The lovely North Sands beach with the celebrated Winking Prawn cafe/restaurant (perfect for coffee and breakfast) is just a 15 minute walk away. Another 10 minutes beyond North Sands brings you to South Sands beach with kayak and paddle board hire, beach cafe and the South Sands Hotel Restaurant and Bar. South Sands is the point of arrival and departure of the colourful South Sands ferry which will take you back to the quayside in Salcombe along the beautiful estuary. There's a ferry from The Ferry Inn in Salcombe to East Portlemouth taking you on a 3 minute trip to the many stunning sandy beaches across the estuary. Salcombe is also a staging post for one of the most dramatic and delightful stretches of the South West Coastal Path situated within our Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

  • Pamela and her husband are very warm and welcoming hosts. They have a beautiful stylish home just a short walk from the town with lots of parking options close by. Our room was lovely with great amenities and a super comfy bed and bedding. We didn’t have an en-suite but that didn’t matter as we had their entire upstairs and bathroom to ourselves which they always do for their guests. Breakfast was a fantastic surprise with lots of choice and unlimited drinks, plus warm friendly conversation with the hosts in between. Will definitely recommend to anyone staying in Salcombe and will be keeping in mind for any future trips to South Devon.

There is a car park right next door (£6 a day) and the Salcombe gin school is about 100m away on the flat (an easy stagger). The bathroom is well appointed with good quality towels and facilities. There were two couples and so we used two bedrooms and shared the bathroom. All rooms were beautifully clean and the rooms stocked with lovely extras such as chocolates and fruit. Pamela was very flexible with us regarding check in and also gave some great recommendations for restaurants and walks. She and her husband also provided us with a wonderful breakfast. The house is stunning with exquisite touches making it feel homely but equipped with everything you need for your break. On arrival, there was a welcome basket with lots of treats and pieces to help us settle in. Each room has a unique style but all compliments one another. Location wise it is a 5 minute walk from the main town and is quiet. The garden was perfect for enjoying some down time after a long day of exploring the local attractions.     This lovely one bedroom apartment is set in one of Salcombe's most iconic buildings right in the town's centre. The well equipped apartment comes with use of the heated waterfront swimming pool (22nd May to 31st October only) communal gardens and also benefits from on-site parking (1 space) and boat mooring (5m max.). Salcombe offers a range of shops, bars and restaurants and is in close proximity to the many breathtaking beaches and miles of coastal path. Strictly no dogs or smoking allowed.
    A stunning bright and airy garden flat that opens out into well presented Communal Gardens adjacent to The Salcombe Estuary. The one bedroom flat comprises of a large open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area with sliding glass doors that lead out on to a private patio with outdoor table and chairs to accommodate up to 6 people. The bedroom, which also has sliding door access out on to the private patio and enjoying stunning views of the estuary, comprises of 2 single beds (which can be separated or pushed together for a couple) and a full size bunk bed, ideally suited for children. A travel cot can be arranged under separate request. There are 2 x further pull out beds in the lounge area, again this could be arranged under separate request but you would need to bring your own bedding for these. There is plenty of drawer space available in the bedroom and further hanging and shelving space available in the store cupboard. The bathroom has been recently refurbished and includes toilet, sink and a large walk in shower. There is also a mirrored cabinet for your toiletries to be stored, shaving plug and heated towel rail. We supply bath and hand towels as well as flannels and tea towels. However, we do not supply beach towels and would ask that you bring your own for use of the beach and swimming pool. There is WiFi available in the flat, a Smart TV, CD player and various books and games for adults and children. The outside private patio leads straight in to the Communal Gardens where you will find the heated swimming and paddling pool (22nd May to 31st October only) and access to the pontoon where you will have your very own boat mooring (5m max.) There is a water sports store next door to the flat if you need to store any equipment such as life jackets, kayaks, paddle boards etc. There is also a restaurant within the block of apartments that overlook the gardens called 'Dick and Wills', perfect for a sunset drink or dinner overlooking the water. The flat can be accessed either through the main building reception or through the garden. On arrival, please sign in to the register in the main reception with your car registration number. The gardens are completely secure and can only be accessed via a locked door either end of the garden. There is a separate shower and toilet available to be used by the swimming pool, these are shared with other guests. There are also further toilets found in the main reception. There is a laundry room available which is shared with other guests, this is located just down the corridor from the main reception. In here you will find coin operated washing machines and dryers.
    Salcombe, once a major fruit trade port, later found fame as a safe haven for family holidays and visiting yachtsmen. The town is situated at the Southern end of a 'Ria' - a landlocked, salt water inlet, with beautiful, safe, sandy beaches. A Marine Site of Special Scientific Interest, Marine Local Nature reserve and Area of outstanding Natural Beauty, the Ria is bordered by magnificent cliffs which form part of the South West coast Path, well-loved all year-round. Activities in the area are plentiful - you can learn to sail, hire a motor boat or Yawl, canoe/kayak, SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding), surf, ride a rib, fish, crabbing, walk or just laze on a lovely beach. from the sweeping golden sands of Thurlestone to the sheltered coves of south Sands and Hope Cove, Salcombe and surrounding areas has a beach for everyone.   • Trebor was in a good location, it was easy to walk into the centre. The accomodation was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was modern, clean, and well stocked with plenty of good quality utensils. The house would be perfect for 2 families each with 2 children, (it is over 3 floors) each of the 2 upper floors have a double room, twin or bunkbed room and a bathroom on each floor. The garden looked safe and was well kept. We parked a Vauxhall insignia car on the drive at an angle, parking at the property was a bonus. There is also a car park fairly nearby. Pippa gave us good recommendations for eating, and responded quickly to our emails. No complaints. We were 2 couples over 55.

RED2's three quarter sun-canopy covers the side and the rear of the camper and more than doubles the amount of space available, making a very cosy and superior camping package. ​ The mobile kitchen includes double hob, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and utensils.     Moorview is a well-equipped, two bedroom detached bungalow with a very large conservatory and secure garden at the rear. It's set back from the road leaving ample parking for two cars and a small dinghy. An extremely relaxing setting for a holiday in Salcombe with only a short walk to town where you will find a superb choice of shops, restaurants, coffee bars. A favourite walk is down Beadon lane to North Sands. The nearest grocery shop/post office is only a few minutes walk away.
    Our nice bright hallway leads to – one king-size bedroom and one double. In each room, you will find plenty of storage space and a hair dryer. Linen and towels are provided and the beds made up ready for your arrival. The hall leads on to the well-equipped kitchen which includes a double oven cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine etc. The modern bathroom is also off the hall with an excellent shower over the bath. Our comfortable living room has two sofas (one a bed settee), 50” Samsung TV and double French doors which lead to the very large conservatory, which has a lounge and dining area, TV and hi-fi and a discrete unit housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. You will have a wonderful view of Dartmoor from here. Just a step through the patio doors takes you out to the decking area which has plenty of room for al fresco dining or just relaxing with a drink and a good book. If you fancy a BBQ there is one set up ready to use. Our large secure garden is perfect for our doggie visitors and family ball games!
    Found at the top of the town, a supermarket is close by, with all Salcombe town's facilities a walk down the hill. For a quick dog walk just a few steps away up the hill is The Berry. Here you will also find a children's play area.
  • Lovely home away from home. Great garden and outdoor space. The conservatory is amazing and with colder weather it was perfect to be inside but feel outside. Wendy has thought of everything to make it relaxing and enjoyable. Everything for our toddler was catered for and to find a place so well catered for a dog is amazing!! I think he had the best time with a big dog bed and new toys to play with! Would love to return.

  • We had a great week in Salcombe and Wendy's bungalow is just lovely. A real home from home, can't recommend it highly enough. There's just everything you can possibly want even a sewing kit. We went to the Devon County Show which is a must if you're in the area when its on, we did lots of walking especially down into Salcombe, sadly its not quite so easy coming back but it does get easier, although wouldn't recommend it if you've just eaten. All in all, we had a fabulous week and wouldn't hesitate to stay at Wendy's again.

There is a play area with swings a minute walk up the road, a shop around the corner and easy access on foot (if you don’t mind the hill) to Salcombe centre. It's very comfortable, well equipped, best kitchen I've had in an AirBnB by far, lovely beds, well decorated, lots of room for everyone to spread out. Everything you'd need like hairdryers, iron, skyQ, laundry room, games, books etc Lots of info on the local area - walks, restaurants, sports, amenities, with phone numbers. 2 minutes from main shopping street & water, off street parking, 5 mins from Co-op which is open til 11pm every night.     Stylish and comfortable apartment occupying the seaward corner of a large Victorian villa set in lawned gardens (shared) sloping down towards the bay. Even though it's an apartment it's still quite private and you don't feel like you're overlooked by other visitors although it is worth noting that ours is one 8 apartments in a large house, some of which are occupied full time by residents and whose gardens/decking adjoin ours. With amazing views from the decking this well equipped apartment is the perfect holiday destination for families and friends. Description of sleeping capacity: Sleeps 6 (3 Bedrooms) PLEASE NOTE - Linen and Towels, Bath Mats, Hand Towels, Tea Towels and Oven Gloves are all provided as well as a few basic essentials to start you off such as loo roll, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, bin bags etc and tea and coffee. Notes on bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, fabulous sea views and opens on to the decking. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and large windows overlooking the garden (and shed - sorry!). Bedroom 3 has two funky full size wooden bunks. Also a door opening on to the decking and lovely views. There is a trundle bed that you can pull out from under the lower bunk, which would be fine for an extra child to sleep on, but would make the room a bit snug. Please let us know if you plan to use this. Bathrooms Family bathroom has a bath with shower over. There's a loo in there too. The other bathroom is a little more cosy and has the same bath, shower and loo layout. Kitchen The kitchen has a gas hob with electric ovens. There's even a steam oven for the adventurous. Fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave all fitted and high quality. White plates, lots of wine glasses. Good pans. Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother with a few pods to get you started. Living Room A big wooden table, easily seating eight, separates the kitchen from the sitting room, which has two big slouchy sofas facing each other across a low table, good for feet or magazines. There's a good-sized telly (not too giant) with a DVD player. Notes on accommodation: Child's Highchair. Travel cot Outside: Gas bbq. The decking is great. Clean and modern with the most amazing sea views. You can easily sit eight around the table for lunch or dinner and there's still enough room for children to do their own thing without disturbing everyone. Two big sun loungers and two reclining chairs. Cushions for garden furniture in the shed. The railings on one side are a little low so care should be taken with young children. There are lawns and planted borders below on the sea side. It's great for younger children to play on but too slopey to play football (which many might think is a good thing!). Parking is up above the house out of the way in one allocated space. There is plenty of unrestricted parking on Sandhills Road for additional cars. Steps down from the car park to the front door.
    It is close to the lovely North Sands beach and of course the popular Winking Prawn beachfront cafe/restaurant.

The views from the windows and the decking out across the sea and the valley were entrancing - we spent hours enjoying the view, taking in the sun, rain, wind and it was all pleasurable. The place was spotless, very comfortable, lovely touches and we got what we were seeking most, peace and quiet. The short walk into town was enough for us to feel that the great meals out we had was enough to burn a few calories! My son is keen to come again and that says it all

    This luxury ground floor 2 bed / 2 bath garden flat has been appointed to a very high standard throughout and benefits from its' own private garden and comes with it's own private parking. For those cosy nights in, there is a Chesney log burning stove as well as SKY Television. The flat is located in the heart of the town in the Victorian quarter of Devon Road next to Courtney Park and is only a 2 mins walk to Fore Street.
    The space is modern, functional and cosy but what make it so special to us is that it is so close to everything we need. We can be in the restuarants/bars in 2 minutes, but can not hear them from the flat. We can be on our boat in 2 minutes or can take our young son to the park in less than a minute.
    The beautiful coastal town of Salcombe sits on the banks of the Salcombe Estuary making it one of the prettiest towns in South Devon. Located within the South Devon Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty, Salcombe is known for its outstanding coastal views and rolling surrounding countryside, as well as a centre for sailing. Salcombe is a great base for holiday spent messing about on the water or at the water’s edge, or just for a day trip - either way you will fall in love with this beautiful town.

    Overlooking the waterfront and within the narrow streets of the old town, this nineteenth property was once a stationers and printers with an attached photographic studio. Some of the old photographs are still available from the museum in a Kingsbridge. Nowadays, its position provides easy access to a newsagent, butchers, bakers, pharmacy and Cranch’s, a very useful small general store.

    This newly built accommodation offers guests very easy access to Salcombe town. The Boathouse was completed July 2019. It is only a 3 minute walk down to Fore Street. It is ideally suited for up to 4 guests. The kitchen is well equipped with all new appliances, dishwasher, washer/dryer, induction hob and electric fan assisted oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. There's also a good selection of utensils and cutlery. Hopefully you'll find everything you need for your stay whether you choose to cook in or eat out. The living/dining room has a large table and four chairs. The lounge area has 2 large comfy leather sofas and side tables. It has a bookcase with a selection of books and local information. There is a 50 inch smart TV with Netflix . The property also has continuous wi-fi. The bathroom is a lovely, contemporary space. It is tiled with a shower over the bath, large basin, and illuminated mirror. It also has a heated towel rail. Both of the first floor bedrooms have oak flooring.The master bedroom has a king size bed togther with bedside cabinets and chest of drawers. It has a large Velux window with blackout blind. The second bedroom is open plan with 2 single beds, bedside cabinets and chest of drawers and TV. Both bedrooms have additional storage in the eaves. There is another Velux window on landing together with clothes hanging space and a full length mirror. A stairgate is provided. The Boathouse is fully self contained, with its own entrance, outside space, patio furniture and parking space for 1 car. The owners are located in the adjacent, separate property and are more than happy to assist in any way to ensure you have a wonderful stay. During summer high season and school holidays, 7 day stays are preferred but at other times mini breaks of 2 nights minimum are possible. Any queries, please just ask me.     Salcombe is a located at the most Southerly tip of Devon and is surrounded by beautiful villages, wonderful coastal scenery and stunning sandy beaches. The accommodation is within walking distance of the sandy beach at North Sands or guests have a short walk to catch the ferry to the other beautiful sandy beaches of South Sands, Mill Bay or East Portlemouth. Salcombe is the perfect holiday destination for visitors of all ages.

We really could not fault the Boathouse and would happily return. There is plenty of information on arrival, about the surrounding area and good recommendations on where to eat and drink out in Salcombe. Inside the Boathouse, you have free wifi, a 50" TV, Netflix, dishwasher, washing machine etc, there are plenty of books and board games as well. We were made to feel very welcome and it really was a very nice place to stay.

It was absolutely ideal for a very relaxing holiday with lovely views from the balcony which catches the sun in a morning. We had lovely breakfasts al fresco and found plenty to do without using our car at all. The ferry to South Sands is very good to access Overbecks . We also enjoyed a brilliant lunch at the South Sands Hotel overlooking the beach. The Crab Shed is our favourite place to eat and didn’t disappoint and is the closest restaurant to walk to. Just a short walk to the buzzing maritime quarter and the now famous Salcombe Gin distillery and around 10 mins to the passenger ferry across to the stunning beaches and coves of Portlemouth. Another 10 minutes beyond North Sands brings you to South Sands beach with kayak and paddle board hire, beach cafe and the South Sands Hotel Restaurant and Bar. South Sands is the point of arrival and departure of the colourful South Sands ferry which will take you back to the quayside in Salcombe along the beautiful estuary. There's a ferry from The Ferry Inn in Salcombe to East Portlemouth taking you on a 3 minute trip to the many stunning sandy beaches across the estuary.   • Lovely modern very comfortable and spacious room, set above Salcombe but within easy walking distance, rooms are spotlessly clean and great comfy bed plus lovely modern shower room and WC. Lots of storage and great to have a kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits too. Excellent healthy breakfast spread too, all served with lovely views of the garden. We loved parking the car up and just leaving it there the whole weekend, as we could walk anywhere around Salcombe. Far superior to lots of hotels we have stayed in and Julie and Steve are great hosts and manage to get the combination of being helpful but not over intrusive just right. Highly recommended by us.   • Julie was a fantastic host. The room was clean and tidy and equipped with everything you need. Breakfast was freshly prepared every day (they even take an early morning trip to the local bakery to collect breakfast pastries). Julie is full of local knowledge on what to see and do as well as the best routes to take to take in all of the beautiful views. If we were to stay in salcombe again we would definitely stay here

  • Wow what a beautiful property and such kind hosts. I came with two girl friends and we stayed in two of the rooms, they were both absolutely gorgeous and sparkling clean. Beautiful sea views too. Julie and her husband are so kind and welcoming and this place is just magical. The breakfasts were delicious with fresh fruit, delicious coffee, Liz’s granola etc. The only thing I would mention is that it is quite a steep walk up from Salcombe but on the plus side you stay fit during your stay..!! Didn’t want to leave and will 100% be back. Thank you Julie!

  • Very impressed with Julie and Steve as welcoming hosts, happy to share tips on walks, eating places, and places to visit. Their B & B is well located above the busy town centre - close enough for an easy walk in, far enough away for peace and quiet too. The room (3) was large, the bed comfortable and everything clean. Attention to detail is apparent throughout and evident in the luxury continental breakfast, which during our stay included blueberry and clementine juices, excellent bean to cup fresh coffee and loose leaf tea, not to mention fresh from the local bakery pastries and bread. All in all excellent! Will stay again when visiting the area!

The room has so many thoughtful touches with fantastic views out over the sea and estuary, spotlessly clean and plenty big enough to relax and feel like you have your own space! Breakfast is provided in the morning (delicious croissants!) with catering towards dietary preferences if needed! The location of the apartment means town is walking distance and easy to access the coastal walks nearby! There's no doubt we'd come back and stay again!

  • Thank you Julie & Steve for having us last weekend, the location was ideal being just a short stroll from the town centre. The room was spacious, beautifully presented and immaculately clean. We loved the tall window providing views over the hills. The tea/ coffee and yummy biscuits were a lovely touch, as were the nice products in the (beautiful) en-suite bedroom. Matt enjoyed chatting with Steve over breakfast and was made to feel very welcome whilst I was off early in the morning for wedding prep!   • What an amazing week staying with Steve and Julie in beautiful Salcombe. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was enormous with the most beautiful bathroom. We loved the gorgeous sliding window that opened up fully allowing us to appreciate the breathtaking view. Our bed was huge and VERY comfortable, we slept for hours, just what we needed! We had everything we needed in the room with a constant flow of tea, coffee and fresh milk. Julie provided a beautifully fresh continental style breakfast every morning setting us up for the day. Both Julie and Steve were on hand all week to offer advice, directions and fun things to do in the area. All in all, we had the most relaxing week. We were absolutely delighted with our choice and we felt like we’d known Julie and Steve for years! Definitely recommend for anyone to stay here. Salcombe has lots to offer, with great views, pubs and restaurants. We even pushed ourselves and dabbled in some Paddle Boarding! See you soon Salcombe!

Continental breakfast provided between 8 and 9 am, either outside or in open plan living area. Julie and Steve are very friendly and helpful. It is a quick 10 min walk downhill Into the town. Probably 15 min walk back uphill. Highly recommend.

    Our apartment is at the beginning of Devon Road, near North Sands beach, within walking distance of the centre of Salcombe. The property is well furnished in a modern beach style (think driftwood, white), with all the amenities. There is an individual garden and patio area as well as a large South facing balcony, which is a real sun trap, with views across the estuary and to the sea, We accept one dog on a per-booking basis. Our previous guests have always enjoyed the property!
    It is quiet, private, with great views of the estuary. It is only a 15 minute walk to the centre of town. The balcony is large, and is a real sun trap.

  • Good, spacious, well equipt apartment. Ideal for 2 couples or a family of 4. Only suitable for able bodied as there is steps down from the parking area and the path to the property is very uneven. Good heating (as we stayed in October) and a beautiful patio with great views. Good location and please be aware if you don't want to use the car to go into Salcombe be prepared for the hilly walk back. Very clean and overall a lovely place to stay, we would return.

    This lovely baby and dog (£25 per stay) friendly flat is in the beautiful seaside town of Salcombe. There is off road parking. It's about 5 minutes downhill walk to the town centre and 20 minutes walk to the beach or 5 minutes and a ferry trip.
    There are two bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and one twin beds with a folding bed. There is also a travel cot. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc... The table in the dining hall seats 6. The sitting room is spacious with TV, DVD, Wii and a selection of toys and games to keep younger guests entertained. The patio doors from the sitting room open onto the garden which is perfect for cooking up a storm on the Weber BBQ whilst dining at the outside table which seats 6. There is a baby bath in the shower room. Free WiFi. Guests to bring bedlinen and towels or I can arrange hire with my caretaker. Duvets and pillows on all beds.
    Salcombe is a beautiful town with a traditional toy and sweet shop, jack Wills, Fat Face etc. there are some fabulous restaurants and cafés. There are sandy beaches near by at North and South Sands and East Portlemouth. ... Salcombe has a truly amazing ecosystem, which provides a home for many species of bird and plant life. It is not unusual to see dolphins and seals. Salcombe is an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are beaches, galleries, museums and lots of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also the National Trust property Overbecks, which has a beautiful garden and a small museum up above South Sands beach.

Highlights for us were relaxing in the garden in the evening with stunning views across the Devon hills and the huge basket of toys that our daughter had lots of fun with!
