Our trip was absolutely fantastic! Reed's cabin was cozy, clean, and remote, which is just what we were looking for. It's the perfect place to get away from the city for a weekend. It was so nice to not hear the constant sounds of cars or trains whizzing by. We actually spent all of our time at the cabin, sitting outside enjoying the peace, reading, and watching the birds (lots of hummingbirds!) and other critters (there's a family of chipmunks that lives in the barn!). Reed's instructions for working the water heater & furnace were perfect and he responded to all my questions promptly. If you're looking for a place to just relax and enjoy some actual quiet coupled with amazing views & wildlife, this cabin is it.

Wish I could give this place an extra star. The area is just gorgeous. The hiking trails, zip line for the kids, yard games and gas fire pit made us never want to leave the property. We spent mornings on the porch drinking coffee and watching dozens of hummingbirds bulking up for migration. Lots of room for our kids, their spouses, and grandkids. It was magical. The owners are just lovely people, and super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They treated us like friends. We’d all love to go back!

This property was just as described and was even better than expected! It was very comfortable, and the host provided everything and more to make it feel like home. I will definitely be staying here in the future when I need to come out this way! Host always replied quickly and was great!

We absolutely LOVED our stay! It gave us the full Colorado experience with the flowing creek and beautiful scenery! The cabin had all the things need to cook and grill. We loved after a full day of hiking and playing, we had a beautiful place to come back to that had EVERYTHING needed to rest and relax. The mountain top views from the living room windows (all the windows really) is unmatched and incredible to wake up to every morning! The property offers a lot of privacy and space to explore! The hot tub was the cherry on top! We can’t say enough good things about our stay! This Cabin will forever be a special place for our family holding many core memories!

This Secluded Cabin Retreat was a wonderful escape from day to day life. We live 30 minutes away and needed a place to stay for bridesmaids and a place that still felt like a getaway. if you are local or traveling with a short drive you will feel like you are in a Secluded Getaway!

Had a wonderful stay at this cabin again. Needed to get away and disconnect for a while and this is the place to go. Place looked great, was clean, and exactly as I remembered. Saw a few deer and lots of birds. Went on hikes walks around the roads here as well to connect with nature again. Loved it and can’t wait to hopefully stay again!

Great location! Very walkable to everything in town as well hiking trails! Even with the close proximity to everything, it was a very peaceful and quiet place to stay.

Great place, great hosts, and great location for visiting the sand dunes! Cute cabin just outside "downtown" Fort Garland. Well appointed for us with convenient access to Great Sand Dunes National Park, Alamosa CO which does have a few more restaurants, and the Sand Dunes Recreation hot spring pool and greenhouse. Let me tell you, the pool was a highlight even considering how incredible sledding down the sand dunes was, and how beautiful the property and views where the cabin is set. If you're on the fence for some reason, just book it! You won't be disappointed. If you plan to sled the dunes, rent local and don't bring something in my from Walmart. Heed the rental CO's instructions, especially on waxing, for the best and fastest ride. We loved everything so much more than we even expected to and we'll be looking to come back in the fall and either stay here again or in one of this host's other places.

This beautiful cabin with stunning views perched just outside of Beulah Valley provided the perfect location for a respite and mountain getaway. The staggering views of the valley and Greenhorns were breathtaking. The layout of the deck and thoughtfulness of the placement to take advantage of the terrain, sunlight and views puts it to the front of our favored mountain destinations. Its location provides for tranquility and quiet while allowing for close proximity for hiking on and from the property as well as other desired destinations such as Pueblo Mountain Park, San Isabel Lake and Bishop's Castle. Let’s just say this place checks all the boxes.

Eagle Vista is an absolute gem. The pictures provided with the listing do their best to try and capture the grandeur of the setting, but it's even better than advertised. John is a great host and makes sure that you'll have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Beds are comfortable, showers are hot, and the woodstove keeps the place nice and cozy. We'll certainly be back if we're in the area again.

Cabin was cozy and very comfortable to stay in. Rocky was great with a first day tour and even a trail recommendation. I'll tell you, it's hard to beat the views from every exit or standing point at the cabin. Westcliffe is exactly what you would expect from a mountain village, friendly and easy. Definitely recommend Peregrine Coffee in the village. Plenty of place to hike within an hour or less. Road, while unpaved, is easy to drive on, though I wouldn't recommend it with anything less than an SUV. If we make it back to Colorado, we would stay here again.

Kai was a warm and welcoming hostess. Her comfortable home was beautifully appointed with many amenities just like home. The surrounding scenery around the cabin was phenomenal. Views of the towering 14ers and the San Luis Valley. Hummingbirds greet you when you sit on the deck and enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage. Watch the weather roll in from all directions. This is definitely a wonderful place for a quiet retreat to relax and reflect. It’s definitely high on my list for choice accommodations in the Baca grande.

There are not enough 'Allowable characters' in this box to describe how magical the location is. The cabin is tucked away in a meadow with aspen trees twinkling gold, Evergreens towering, and the mountains whispering freedom and peace. The space has character only something build with love overtime could have. Every direction you look is a visual treat. If that was not enough, the space is filled with ever amenitie needed to cook a fantastic meal, enjoy a good night sleep or be entertained without leaving. Fun games, books and movies sprinkle the space. If you are like me the fenced yard for our four legged family members was a real plus. If dogs are not thing the patio is amazing looking out over the yard and you wouldn't know by the inside that pets are allowed. The hosts are amazing and attentive. Definitely book NOW!

Nigel was such a fantastic host ! We had so much fun coming in on Friday night, and I briefly met Nigel that morning and we were lucky enough to catch him later on around the fire and had a great chat. Super trustworthy, made the place feel like home and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Can’t recommend more for the quiet location with an awesome kitchen to cook all of our meals in. I first want to say that Pam is the best host! She is very responsive and is very kind. She always was there to answer my questions in a timely manner. The house is brand new, has the best views and is spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you could hope for. It is close to town but far enough away to have panoramic views of the mountains and night sky. We highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

The stay was great for the time we did stay, even though my family and I had to leave early the cabin for the time felt like home. Miguel was even nice enough knowing that we were taking the trip for me graduating from RMCAD to leave a little graduation gift. If we had any questions they were replied to fast. My youngest daughter even left drawings for them because she loved the place and wanted to do something nice.

Everything went smooth ,and easy.Rebecca was the perfect host. Very quiet location.
