Very pleasant stay! The contact with the host was excellent – communication was quick, friendly and very detailed. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and helpful. The apartment matched the photos exactly and was fully equipped. Especially the kitchen was very well decorated. The overall decor was tasteful and we felt completely comfortable. The garage was quite tight, but still offered a safe parking space for the night. The only criticism: We found the cleaning costs disproportionately high – especially for a one-night stay. These were almost at the level of the actual rental costs, even though we left the apartment in perfect condition.

Very beautiful and large apartment with a charming terrace. Stefanie organized a lot of little things for us (milk, butter, bread, etc.) and was very friendly. Always happy to come back.

Really nice apartment with loft character. You feel right at home and the apartment has everything you need to feel good! There are nice hints and descriptions for everything, which also makes check-in and check-out very straightforward! Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was charming and creatively furnished and due to the good use of space uphill there was enough space with 6 people. We were positively surprised by the size and expected less space. We could easily reach everything on foot (mining museum, Starlighthalle, downtown) and leave our car so well in the cheap parking garage. The contact was friendly. The apartment had everything we needed. Thanks a lot!

Great stay, awesome area in Gladbeck too

If I could give Edna, her place and Dusseldorf more than 5 stars I would. Edna is a fantastic host , brilliant communication from initial booking to when we arrived and she was so helpful in providing details of how to get around lovely Dusseldorf. Edna’s place is superb better than the photos and they are great too, great location too, can’t rate our stay highly enough , first time in Germany and already want to go back with my wife as it was just me and my son this time. Thank you Edna you made my sons 18th very very special, hope you liked the shortbread we left you and see you again soon I hope.

Clean, cozy and quietly located attic of a great renovated family house in the Ruhr Valley flair. Private, modern bathroom and small pantry kitchen. Very nice hosts and good facilities. Parking is not a problem, supermarket nearby. However, there is no separate entrance, you go through the normal entrance door of the house and then to the top floor. The door also cannot be locked. Otherwise, everything is really wonderful, friendly and lovingly done!

Our stay at this AirBnB was wonderful. The service is outstanding and the landlords would always have been quick to reach. A snack and drinks bar with fair prices is available. From the property, the hotspots are within walking distance. Looking forward to next time!

I had a very nice stay at Adrian’s place. He was extremely helpful and responsive when I got in late at night due to traveling delays. The place was nice and clean and very comfy. I look forward to come again.

Frank & Claudia's place is located in a quiet area of Düsseldorf yet there are many lovely restaurants and cafes in close proximity to their apartment. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable with everything you'll need to make your stay enjoyable. We were delayed on our journey to the apartment and Frank very kindly liaised by mobile phone and came to Düsseldorf hbf to collect us from the train ~ very thoughtful! Frank showed us places to go for meals and coffee / cake. We particularly enjoyed the cafe located on the corner about 100 yards away. The staff in there are really friendly and the coffee is superb. Frank & Claudia's apartment is ideally located for the Rhine and is an easy 20 - 25 minutes walk into the centre of Düsseldorf. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend this apartment.
