There’s no dishwasher, just simple, old-school charm (yes to internet!). Just 7 mins to Grass Valley, 10 to Nevada City, and 15 to the Yuba River. Airstream not included—please ask to rent!

The Feather is a peaceful space for two located on a quiet, wooded road 1.3 miles from town. Luxuriate in deep sleep on the finest, king-sized, 18” mattress. In the fall and winter you will hear the great horned owls singing through the night. Enjoy simple meals, a cozy reading nook and a hot shower. As hosts we strive to be in harmony with the land. We use only natural, scent-free cleaners, organic cotton linens and organic coffee and teas.
