Waterfront vacation rentals in Rothesay

Very good place to explore west coast of Scotland. You have here all you need. Additionally - great view from the window on Loch Long. For us it was another segment of our hike around Great Britain Coast Line. We booked the flat for 1 week but as the weather cleared we asked Simon for another week extension and there was no any problem. Sorted right away.

Herb’s place was exactly what it said on the tin. Great place to stay and has everything you need. What sets it apart is the view from the living room window across the water and over to the Isle of Arran - spectacular. Would love to go back!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb during Christmas! The cozy atmosphere, prime location, and festive surroundings made it a memorable holiday experience.

Claudio's flat was the perfect location for a stay in Largs. Very close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Ideally situated on the seafront next to the Ferry terminal. The views from the bay window were stunning and the sunsets were spectacular. It was most enjoyable watching the ferry going back and forth to Cumbrae and watching everything through the telescope made it more enjoyable. It had the added bonus of being able to sit outside on the roof of the restaurant below! The welcome pack of bread, milk, eggs and pancakes was greatly appreciated, although teabags would have been useful. Fortunately there's a Co-op supermarket close by. The extra, very cosy blankets I found in the cupboard were great on the chilly nights. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware so eating in was easy. TV reception wasn't always good as there isn't cable or satellite, but still got a good range on Freeview.

We had a great few days on Bute at Our wee Getaway the flat was perfect for a family off 4 with plenty space . The central location worked well for us with walking distance to the town, the flat provided us with everything we needed it was clean and tidy when we arrived. Thanks again for a lovely stay we will definitely be back, hopefully next time the sun will shine.

We had a great stay. The flat is beautiful inside and out. Ari and Annika were super responsive to questions and kept us up to date with check in times, and managed to get us in a bit earlier. Lamlash is the perfect location to explore the island, and our dog loved having such close access to the beach! We would definitely recommend, the flat was the perfect base for our wee Arran holiday.

We liked: Lorraine is a communicative host, whose proactiveness and attention to detail ensures that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. The flat, furnishings and equipment are good quality, well designed and clean. Very good shower. Easy to operate heating. Well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable bed with high quality duvet and pillows. Town centre location, but on a quiet side-street. Sunny, outside seating area. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Thanks Lorraine.

Lovely place, well equipped Kitchen. Lovely and peaceful. Very comforrable and all the things you may need. Good phone reception, wifi connection and TV. Toy cupboard for our girls. Lovely bathrooms and bedrooms and beautiful views over the loch from lounge window. Lovely garden. Very helpful and welcoming host.

We had our mums 80th with her family and the place was so well equipped with everything you need the rooms and space was fabulous and very well presented with its own individual character,the area brought back so many memories for my mum we can not thank and praise Alan and the place enough Thank you

A real home away from home, I highly recommend staying here! The hosts are lovely, the location is beautiful, the beds are comfy and the house is immaculate. This is a real gem and the pictures just don't do it justice!

The location as well as the house itself is absolutely beautiful. You overlook the bay of Lochranza whilst sitting at the fireplace in the cosy livingroom. We felt it needed quite some time to heat up in the livingroom (we visited in April), so the first evening was a bit cold. The other rooms were fine though. The house was tidy, we'll equipped and beautiful architecture wise. There is a bus stop right next to the house, which came in handy for us as we didn't have a rental car. The coastel way is accessible right above the house, so there are plenty of nice hiking options just right outside the front door. We would definitely come back!

What a lovely place to stay. Beautiful views. Had everything we needed, was warm and comfortable. Had off road parking a definite bonus.

We had a wonderful stay!! Lynn is an amazing host: very responsive, friendly, kind, and thoughtful. The home is absolutely beautiful with a fantastic view of the loch. There were seven of us (adults) and we were all very comfortable. The garden (yard) is large with soft, mossy grass, which our dogs loved! Helensburgh is not too far and offers nice places to eat (La Barca's) and fun stores for shopping (Tweedies). Highly recommend! 5 stars🌟

Stayed here for the weekend with all our family to celebrate a graduation and the place was just perfect. The hot tub was amazing, a bbq was provided. The rooms were so clean and each had a bathroom which was great for privacy. The little details that Justin and Rae added made the stay so special - there was little boxes in each room with water and snacks, the bathrooms stocked with shampoos etc, and they even supplied us toys for the kids. To top it all off they even decorated the house for my partners graduation with balloons and banners! Would 100% recommend this stay for any family gathering - thanks Justin and Rae!

Both Nicola and John are absolutely lovely both of them will accommodate you to the highest of level, lovely people and the most relaxing place I’ve been to in years. We stayed one month and loved every minute can not say in words how lovely this place and people are can’t wait come back when we are of to see Kylie see yous both soon

This is a wonderful place to stay, had everything we needed, Fran and John where very welcoming and had even supplied a small milk so we could make a cuppa. The place was clean and spacious, beds very comfy, views were spectacular. Perfect place to explore the surrounding area, which has a lot to offer. will definelty be going back and would recommend 100 times over.

This was the ideal accommodation for our stay on Bute. A lovely wee flat with a smashing view and ideal for seeing the island - we drove and there was plenty of parking. We loved the island and the flat.

Another fantastic stay. Relaxing home and area. Explored new island walks and visited the new foodie bistro. We will 100% return to this Airbnb. Host could not be more welcoming or kind. 5 stars from us

We had a wonderful time in Jill's accommodation! We immediately felt at home and Jill and Simon are very friendly and warm people. The apartment is also very comfortably furnished. We would love to come back.

This was our second stay at Mairi’s place. Mairi and James were responsive and welcoming. The view from the property is hard to beat, there are some really good eateries in Ardrossan and the surrounding area. The bus stop is an easy five minute walk away, and there’s an Asda approximately the same distance away. Plenty of parking space around the property too. And there are eider ducks and black guillemots bobbing about in the harbour, which is a bonus! Lots of picturesque walks, drives, and beaches on the doorstep. It was a joy to return to a lovely haven at the end of each day.

Beautiful compact space, overlooking amazing views of the sea. A tranquil space, with a well equipped kitchen . This being maybe the 6th Airb&b place we have stayed in . We were amazed with Vincent & Nicole’s generosity, the welcome card, and gifts , the milk . We had stopped to pick up some groceries and had been disappointed as the farm foods had no orange juice . A pleasant surprise to open the fridge and find some . Vincent messaged to say we could help ourselves to the tea/coffees etc & other supplies . We were fortunate with the weather as only a bit of rain on a couple of days , made our 7 days Wizz past . A couple of day in the amazingly beautiful highlands, some local exploration. A beautiful week . We would definitely like to come back at some point in the future .
