What a special place! The cottage is so clean, modern and very pretty & the fact it is right beside the sea with its healing properties are what drew us to this place. There were lovely little thoughtful details like gentle music playing when we got there, dimmed lights on, and a few goodies on arrival. The fire was all set ready to light & we felt right at home. So special . We would love to come back x

Comfortable beds, fab bathrooms, warm and cosy, plentiful hot water and excellent kitchen. The sitting room was perfect for our needs and just gazing out over Strangford Lough was wonderful.

Loved being able to see seals (through binoculars). Coastal views are beautiful. House had all amenities listed. Rachel was accommodating and responded quickly.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Beach House. What a nice view from the house and only a few steps from the beach. We highly recommend it. Alex and Danny are perfect hosts.

We fell in love with Michelle’s cottage! The cottage itself and the grounds it is on are just idyllic. We’re all devastated to be home😆 The kids adored watching the sea and the quiet of the place and funtasia wasn’t a far drive so they were in their element. Really hope to go back here soon

Absolutely loved staying at Peters place. He couldn’t have been any more hospitable. I will 1000% be coming back to stay. Me and my partner went for a morning dip in the water across the road too! Unreal

Eileen's place is fantastic. Everything you could want for a family - books and games for the kids, lovely rooms and the welcome package made such a difference. To be able to just arrive and have milk, cereals, eggs, porridge and treats for kids was great, meant we could relax immediately. Eileen was very attentive. I fell sick during the trip and she even offered to babysit the kids if needed. Amazing host, highly recommended!!!

I booked this on behalf of colleagues and they said they had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and very well organized and equipped. Communication with Kevin was excellent and we were met at the property at check in and given a tour and instructions which was really appreciated. The house is a short easy walk into the centre of Carlingford, which is a truly beautiful place. Many thanks.

Fantastic house, cozy with everything you could need and we really appreciated being able to drop our food shopping in ahead of check in! Dundrum is a great town to explore the Mourns and Patricia’s place is the perfect base!

We (two families of 5 each) had a great weekend stay at Karen’s house. The house was clean, nicely decorated, well positioned to local shops, and had a warm feel to it. The 5 bedrooms worked perfectly for the 10 of us and the kids loved the games room. We would be more than happy for our next stay in Newcastle to be at Karen’s place.

John was very approachable and responsive to questions. The bungalow was stunning, lovely wee enclosed front garden leading into this beautiful home from home, everything we needed for a wonderful stay. we especially liked the seating area outside with views of the Mourne Mountain, which ourselves and our dogs spent most of our time while in. everything was in walking distance, so once car safety parked up we walked everywhere. beds were super comfortable, rooms were all so clean and there was milk in fridge for that 1st cup of tea, when in and unpacked. We can't wait to stay again! great wee find!

This is an exceptionally good place to stay, with clever design to make the most of the sea views. The accommodation is excellent: clean, smart and attractive. Nearby access to the beach is the icing on the cake. A lovely part of the country. John was very helpful and quick to respond. Thank you, John!

We enjoyed a wonderful week staying in Newcastle at Promenade Cottage. The cottage is beautifully located with views of the sea from the front. All you could want in a well equipped kitchen, a shower/toilet and upstairs loo. Very peaceful, about 15 minutes walk from town, but we never made it past the excellent Harbour House pub restaurant. We highly recommend a stay at the cottage. Michelle is a superb host, special thanks to her. See you next year! Tim

Tara’s place was excellent in every way! It is immaculately clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our morning walks on the beach! I highly recommend Tara’s place and hope to stay there again!

Lovely farmhouse, great location and amazing patio for good weather

27 hans Sloane square was a home from home. The views of the Lough are beautiful and the circular walk around the harbour and along the shoreline just keeps in giving. Having grown up in Killyleagh I am bias but the views never change and are as wonderful then as now. The house was beautifully appointed and I wanted for nothing, everything I needed was provided for. Would stay again.

Portaferry is a beautiful place to stay, the locals are amazing! Phil was extremely helpful and very friendly, we found the space very relaxing! We had amazing weather on our stay and loved the outside space!
