Great location in downtown Salida, with covered parking. Plenty of room, everything we needed in the kitchen. Great views from the deck. This is our second stay, and hope to come again in the future.

We love Salida and this location was absolutely perfect - right along the Monarch path and easy access to downtown shopping and restaurants. Also close to parks/playgrounds for my young kids who were traveling with us. The house is quaint, but has everything you need. Lots of beautiful sunlight and a great spot for a quick spring break getaway. Host was responsive and very helpful. We'll be back!

This is our second time staying here and we absolutely love it! Beautiful, comfortable, convenient — and Kevin is a wonderful host! Can’t wait to come back again!

We came to the San Luis Valley to visit family. We came from Kansas and Oklahoma. The house far exeeded expectations. It was very stocked, kitchen had everything to cook. I did an apple pie and forgot nutmeg. I found some in the cabinet! The yard was perfect for the children. We did all the local things: aligator farm, pool, sand dunes, and even drove up to Monarch Mountain to snow tube. The dark skies, sunrises and sunsets, were perfection. The home feels so warm and welcoming. We loved our stay here and highly recommended.

This house was a great size for two families to fit comfortably. It was in walking distance to the river, the park, and town plus an easy drive to Monarch Mountain. Great spot for spring break .... We would definitely book again!

I had such a peaceful stay. The views were breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. It was comfortable and welcoming. I’d definitely come back again!

This 4 bedroom 3 bath Salida rental was the perfect size, configuration, and location for our family of 10. The kitchen was quite spacious and well-equipped, and a gas grill was available on the back patio as well. Furnishings, beds, and linens were clean, attractive, and comfortable. It is a short pleasant walk to this historic town for shopping, good food, and a wide variety of water activities...(including surfing!) on the Arkansas River. Our super host, Charles, provided clear, thorough and helpful information. His quick responses to any questions or concerns we may have had made the whole process stress free from start to finish. Our family had a wonderful time in this Salida rental, and would highly recommend it as an ideal place to gather and enjoy!

Great location! Right in the middle of downtown. Small walk to the river, restaurants, etc. Gina's place was clean, and has a lot of character. There are many blankets and amenities for your comfort, however, it is a shared common area and noise travels. we recommend bringing ear plugs just in case. We loved staying here and would love to come back again!
