We had very pleasant days. The house was perfectly furnished, we lacked nothing. Balcony and living room offer a beautiful south view of the meadows and fields in front of the house. The quiet location in the small town invites you to small and large hikes. If you get into the car, you can reach the famous sights of the Rhön in 10 to 30 minutes, such as the Milsburg, the Wasserkuppe, the Schwarze Moor, Bishofsheim and the Gangolfsberg. We had a lovely 4 days here. We were able to retreat and relax here in peace. At the same time, there was plenty to do in the area if we wanted to get out. The house offers plenty of options for entertaining. Suitable for all ages.

Very friendly host, the kitchen is very well equipped, very clean, very well prepared, the children really love it, it is suitable for a vacation with friends.Hope to stay again if I come back for another vacation

I spent two nights in Micha's great house with my friends. The description was very accurate. The pool, sauna and hot tub were like pure wellness. You have plenty of space, even for 6 people. We had a really nice quiet getaway.

We were with a large group including baby with Heleen and her husband and we loved the accommodation: spacious, sufficient toilets and bathrooms for the group size, lots of parking, opportunities to stay indoors and outdoors - we liked it very much!

We were lucky enough to spontaneously spend the Easter holidays in the beautiful chalet and had a great time with the family (8 adults, 1 toddler). The chalet is located in a very quiet area on the mountain and is great for a wellness or hiking holiday. The host Dirk was always very accommodating and eager and always communicated quickly. The chalet was very clean and with a lot of love for detail, we felt very comfortable. The highlight was of course sauna and hot tub - we will be happy to come back!

We were there with a larger group and felt comfortable right away. There are beautiful places where you can sit, cook and talk together, but also retreat spaces. A beautiful old house furnished with charm and love. Very personal.

Beautiful and bright wooden house. The kitchen and living room are flooded with light because of the large windows. Large and modern bathroom with attached sauna next door. Good mattresses. The rooms are a little clairvoyant. The house has a large yard, good parking with canopy and a well-kept and large garden.

We spent some nice days at Klaus's place in Selkentrop. The accommodation is newly renovated, totally cozy, clean and is very quiet and close to nature – ideal for a small break with children. Especially great: the private playground right by the house. Everything was well equipped and child friendly (high chair, fall-out protection by the bed). Otherwise, everything was great and Klaus, who lives on the property with his family, was very friendly and easily accessible.

Hansi is very personable, explained everything to us directly. We stayed there for 4 nights and we were more than satisfied. The house was very nicely equipped and everything was clean. You just have to bring your own bed linen and towels. I can recommend this house to everyone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

House was clean. Well furnished kitchen. Descriptions were clear. We brought our own linens to avoid extra cost.

Since Astrid had described the access well, we found the house immediately. The parking lot is a bit "hilly" and tight for large cars, the first time we parked and left, we got stuck, then, with a different angle, it worked better. The rooms were all clean and uncluttered, the beds comfortable. Plenty of spare blankets if you're cold. Loving decor. Enough towels in the bathroom, everything is plentiful, also some care products. The most awesome thing is really the shower: powerful jet, just as hot. (Not the kind of rinsale you know from other vacation homes. The landlords usually want to save water, but do not consider that rinsing out the shampoo then takes 3 times as long). Unfortunately, there was some noise nuisance twice, maybe coincidence (neighbor talked outside in megaphone strength at 5 in the morning), so you are awake. Otherwise a cozy, rustic house, highly recommended. In a few steps you can reach the historic market square.

Everything is great: communication, location, uncomplicated check-in, amenities. I can only recommend it. 5/5 stars.

nice and cosy place for a "get away". it was equipped with everything i needed "for cooking, grilling, etc.". However, guests should note that linen and towels are not available, which was not a big deal for me. recommended

Very nice place to stay, the train station is a 5-minute walk away. Right next door is a beverage market, which is open until 8 pm. From the property it is possible to make an art hike. The Ratskeller, a great restaurant, is within walking distance. The perfect place to stay for a nice family weekend!

Very friendly and nicely designed. Yes, the entrance, the stairs and the first impression seem a bit spoiled/not completely renovated. But everything is super clean, the house is beautifully located with a very great terrace in the garden and the garden is also available. She has everything ready from firewood to the grill. We were only there one night, but would definitely have felt comfortable with a longer stay! Recommended!

The home is a central location to explore the Rhine valley. Short drives to area attractions as well as a peaceful porch to watch the Rhine flow by make this a delightful location.

We rented Elke's place as a group of seven friends from our student days and were able to celebrate a very relaxed reunion in Kassel. The house is very, very cozy, spanking clean and has everything it needs! And Elke was a really very helpful and nice hostess!

perfect house for a family with small kids, they really enjoyed the sandbox, small vehicles, puzzles etc... Location is also nice, near the dam but still quiet street.
