Great solution! We only stayed one night to climb Cusna, but I think it's a great base to stay longer and explore the surroundings. Nearby there is a bar (Locanda Nuova) where you can have a great breakfast

I had a wonderful stay at Gina's. When I arrived they very kindly picked me up from the station which I was super grateful for. The house was beautiful with traditional interiors. The town is very peaceful and the views from the garden were beautiful! I would reccomend to anyone wanting to get away from a busy city break, perfect for relaxing! Gina was a great host and answered all my questions very quickly and I felt if I needed anything I could happily reach out to her.

Very beautiful area, quiet relaxing, beautiful walk, palagano is a beautiful village, with all amenities, regarding the cottages. It is very well located, with parking. It is spacious, a beautiful private terrace well sunny practically all day. It is very well arranged, with all the comforts you need for a pleasant stay.

I chose Mark’s place because it was right between the two centres that make up the Bagni di Lucca and was certainly better value than staying in town. The location is right by the river, on the upper level of the building, so you can open the windows and enjoy the view. There is a bus stop just 100 metres away that links with the railway with a fairly regular service, or you could continue all the way to Lucca itself. The apartment was very well equipped, which is great if you want to self-cater and there is a Conad Supermarket about a 10 minute walk away, which is well stocked with meat, cheeses, wine, bread, vegetables and necessaries. The town itself is probably about a 20 minute walk away, with various restaurants. A shout out has to go to Mark, who was so helpful when l left a suitcase on the train. He was so understanding and concerned and even checked at Lucca station to see if it had been returned and suggested places to replace lost items. This exceeded my expectations!
