Lovely property, super clean, comfortable and well equipped for families. Couldn’t ask for a better place. The location was perfect for us as we wanted to stay in a less crowded place . But also easy access to a small city where you can get groceries. I love it

The pictures don’t do it justice. What an amazing place to stay, the view is just incredible not matter which direction you look from the house. The house itself is super cozy, well set up with everything you need whether for a night or a week. The area is beautiful as well and the hosts gave us excellent recommendations for what to do around town. We liked it so much we didn’t want to leave! Thanks so much

Amazing stay at Arild’s place with 2 families with 2 12 year old girls. We loved the sauna, hot tub and be able to dip in the sea. Amazing location and views. Arild was great at answering questions and helping us especially when our arrival was delayed.

A fantastic property, exactly as described, with all needs taken care of. All major attractions within a 30 minute drivable distance and a grocery store that sells practically everything literally at your doorstep We really should have planned to stay for longer than 2 days.

For five days, we enjoyed every moment. Very quiet in the evening for good sleep. Even caught a big fish right outside the door.

Very nice, spacious and peaceful accommodation with all comforts in a beautiful environment. Vidar's advice for walks was very useful.

We spent a wonderful 4 weeks in Karl's house. The apartment was as described in the listing and left nothing to be desired. We were received by Karl's father, Leif. A very friendly and open man who showed us around and explained everything. If we had any questions, he was always there. The moments on the terrace were particularly beautiful....sunshine, the sound of the sea and the many birds. From the place to stay, it is not far to the Atlantic Road and restaurants as well as shopping. We can recommend this place 100%, therefore 5 from us⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This lovely apartment was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the living area was spacious and relaxing. The bedrooms more than met our needs and we truly enjoyed the scenic views from the living room and deck. Martin was a wonderful host and took very good care of us. The apartment is located on the ground floor of a two-story/ 4 apartment unit. So you do hear the neighbors above on occasion. It should be noted that the unit is located in a residential area so there are several local residents living close by in the neighborhood. We had no issues with this but we mention it in case a potential renter is looking for solitude in an idyllic mountain setting. It is not in an isolated area. The proximity to Geiranger was excellent so the apartment’s location made a great base of operations for our adventures in and around Geiranger. Highly recommended.

Absolutely super for our assistant, again!

This was our second stay with Jon Robert & Anna. It is a beautiful place across a small road from the lake with mountain views - including views of waterfalls & the glacier. The apartment is decorated with personal touches, making you feel like you are at home. There are MANY things to do just a drive away. Ålesund is only an hour away. We also drove to Runde (the famous bird island) from here. Jon Robert has a printed guide book with exact routes on driving tours of the area. He is so helpful and friendly. The apartment is very clean, and in very good condition.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and WOW what an amazing place. The views from the cabin are insane, we were snowed in for a few days but the cabin was the perfect place for a few slow days! Ellen-Kristine and Bjørn we're really helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions. They even got a friendly neighbour to check we were ok when the unexpected snow arrived! For outdoor activities the location is perfect, Stranda itself is very quiet, it's a fairly long drive (40mins) for any nice restaurants, but that was fine with us!

The cabin is in a great location in the middle of the ski resort in Stranda. Brilliant view from the living room and terrace. The cabin is of a very good standard and met all our expectations. Joakim sent good and clear information before the stay and always responded quickly if there was anything. All in all one we very happy with our stay and will be happy to come back 😊

We had a great time at Julian’s place ! Ideal to take a break from the busy world. The location is outstanding and the hut cozy and clean. On top we enjoyed kayaking, fishing as well as a barbecue on the terrace with a stunning view 🤗 Thank you for the great experience !

The host was very helpful, he answered our questions and requests almost immediately - recommended us where to fish, where to go for hikes, where to rent kayaks. The cottage is located in a very nice place, close to the sea and it's very nice, cozy and was very tidy. I would stay there again if the opportunity arises in the future.

my girlfriend and I spent two nights at the cabin. The cabin exceeded my already high expectations. It is beautifully decorated, with a a open fireplace, wood oven and electric radiators as well! the views from the cabin are amazing. it also has every amenity you could ask for, the kitchen is very well stocked and the shower works beautifully. would thoroughly recommend this to others. I have no negatives to say! the host was also super helpful, giving recommendations on the area, meeting us at the cabin late in the evening for check in, and even helping return my jacket which I left at the cabin after check out. They have done an amazing job restoring the cabin so that it maintains its feeling of authenticity and age whilst being incredibly comfortable and modern. thank you!

Stunning place!!! Impressive and beautiful yet wonderfully cosy with everything you could need. We loved our stay here, dipping in the fjord and enjoying the view, and enjoying the special feeling of the building.
