We got exactly what we wanted: a user-friendly and cozy cabin in quiet and scenic surroundings. Mathias was a perfect host. He responded quickly and pleasantly to our inquiries, and we felt at home in his cabin from the first moment.

Janne's place is amazing! Beautiful views of the mountains and ocean and serene surroundings my family and I made such wonderful memories there. Kitchen was well equipped as well.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and cozy Airbnb! The place was warm and inviting, with a stunning view of the nearby waterfall — truly a treat to wake up to. The amenities were top-notch: we enjoyed relaxing in the Jacuzzi, unwinding in the massage chair, and having fun with the table tennis setup. There were plenty of games and activities to keep the kids entertained too. Grilling outside was a highlight of our trip, and the whole experience felt peaceful and private. The location is also perfect — very close to Gaustatoppen, which made our outings convenient and scenic. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking to relax and recharge in nature!

We had a good stay at Arthur's place in Rjukan. Conveniently located for visiting Gaustatoppen, Vemork, or other area attractions.

When we arrived, it was easy to get in and settle in. A handwritten note and a welcome gift (chocolate and coffee) made us feel welcome. The kitchen was great with necessary utensils to easily be able to cook meals and it was the first time I rented a home where the knives were sharp(!). Other things that we appreciated were that there was soap, dishwasher detergent, kitchen towels, toilet paper and wood for the fireplace. It is noticeable in a positive way that this apartment is used by the owners and is not just for rent. There is free parking below the apartment and it took 3-4 minutes to walk to the piste (with toddlers in ski boots). There is also free parking right by the lift where you can buy both lift passes and rent skis. We were asked to vacuum, wipe down all surfaces and dispose of garbage before checkout which was no problem. We can definitely recommend this home!

Our stay at Maria's apartment was simply perfect. Warm house, very welcoming and everything matching the description provided. Maria is extremely helpful and responsive, we asked for various information and she always responded in a short time. We were in Rjukan to ice climb and it was really nice to come back and take a hot shower. Kitchen equipped with all the necessary appliances. Impeccable cleanliness. We slept perfectly, very comfortable beds and silence in the surrounding area. I highly recommend it!!!

Beautiful apartment, slightly darker than the pictures show, but very stylish, spotless and brand new. Location is quiet but close to the slope and great views. The garage with loading facilities is absolutely great and Thor is a great host and helps with tips.

Johan's apartment is very comfortable, bright, spacious and well heated, with the luxury of having a washing machine available. It has a beautiful view of the Gaustastoppen and for those who love the mountains it is paradise. On the other hand, don't go there at night, the street names are not displayed and the GPS shows anything.

A really nice apartment that works perfectly. Very well equipped and it is possible to store skis on the ground floor in private enclosure. Ski-in/ski-out works optimally - however, be aware that you start on the black part of piste 22, which however very quickly turns red. However, there are shuttle buses to other areas if too difficult for some family members😊 Definitely an apartment and area we would be happy to come back to!

Rjukan is an interesting place because of history and the flat is a very good point of start to visit it. The flat gives you all you need for a short stay.

Charlotte's apartment is beautiful🤩. We were there mainly to go to Gaustatoppen, and it was a very nice distance to it. The best thing was that we could bring the dog. She loved the view on the balcony ☺️ Charlotte was also very helpful with questions we had in advance. I recommend a stay in this apartment to everyone 🙂

We've had 5 amazing days in Gausta. We have climbed Gaustatoppen, hiked in the area, bathed in the lake and sailed. The apartment's location and incredible views are clearly what has made the holiday something special. Ingvild is a great and thoughtful host. We would love to come back. Warm, neat, cozy and delicious beds are keywords for this little gem. Unfortunately, the ski slopes were gone for this year, but the children's slope at the alpine cover was open. In addition, a fun nature trail below Høgevarde, which we took on foot. Here it is fun for small and big!
