Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Rockland County

The house was wonderful, very unique making it all that more enjoyable of a stay. Amit was easy to communicate with, in fact he reached out to us to make sure we were comfortable and any concerns which we had none of. Strongly recommended staying here, we will again.

My family and I spent a great couple of weeks in Justin’s house. The house is walking distance from “downtown” Piermont which we took advantage of every day, grabbing coffee, brunch and a stroll by the Hudson River. The house itself is really big and nicely updated for a modern family. The interior is inviting and stylish. The house is very friendly for children as there are plenty of toys and a small little playground under the deck which our daughter of 1,5 particularly enjoyed. Justin was super accommodating and made sure we had what we needed for our stay with a small child. The view from the house and the deck is amazing, overlooking lush trees and with a view to the Hudson River. Only thing I would note is that we didn’t notice that the house is right on a main road when we booked it, so there is quite a lot of noise from cars when you’re outside on the deck and also when in the bedrooms facing the street, however, we got used to it after a few nights. But overall a great stay!

Great stay in general especially with friends or family. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking needs and the place was very clean. I loved the family and living space perfect to enjoy w a group of people. Things to keep in mind; the en suite seems like an awkward diy job with shotty work including the shower drain, doors, and makeshift closet and one of the “bedrooms” is a nook attached to a bedroom with two twin beds in it. I only had a few minor things tha needed touching up but that did not effect the stay overall. Things that needed attention including; the curtains in the master don’t fully cover the front glass door, the master bedroom knob was broken from the outside so you could lock yourself out, and the outdoor furniture was not clean or set up to use. I’m sure they fix up the outdoor furniture later but I was only aware that the pool was closed for the season not the fire pit. This home was perfect for my siblings and their kiddos to meet up for a nice long weekend. Kerry made us feel very welcomed and was super responsive when we had questions. The sunroom was one of my favorite places in the house. The kids enjoyed playing both outdoors and indoors. The neighborhood was quiet and the kitchen was stocked. Just a short drive to the mall and plenty of places to eat. We would gladly stay again.

this home is better than advertised and the hosts are extremely accommodating! We would want to stay here again! West Point Families looking for a convenient place to house a family during Graduation Week, we highly recommend. but if you have a good sized family and just want to get awayin NY, this place is perfect!

Arran place was amazing, and it was very accommodating. Very close to the train station which was nice for us.

Cute house that was very clean and comfortable. Great location to walk to coffee shops and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Close by to scenic areas for our family weekend. Rachel was very helpful and responsive. Enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable home where we felt welcome and not a 'sterile' environment with no personality, but lots of beautiful artwork by the owner. Had everything we needed in terms of accommodations, linens, wi-fi, towels, spices, washer and dryer, etc. etc. Loved the live plants, all well-cared for and obviously loved. Like so many lakes in the area, the algae has begun to take over.

Amazing stay, even better than the photos! Host was also extremely responsive and very accommodating to changes needed due to travel disruptions.

We loved our stay at Sal’s place! It was spotless and well thought out. We had all we needed. Comfy bed—slept great. Everything was so nice. Super grateful for Sal’s parking assistance. Great guy. Loved being on this side of NYC where life was a little slower. We enjoyed neighborhood restaurants and appreciated the convenience stores. Would stay again!

The apartment was beautiful and exactly as described. It was newly renovated, clean, easy to locate, and in a prime location. We met Graham when we got there. He was outside working on more renovations, and he became a friendly face and helpful resource throughout our stay. The patio was definitely worth it. It was so peaceful and serene to just sit in the hot tub and stare off at the creek and mountains. The less than 10 minute walk to town on the abandoned tracks was so easy, romantic, and fun. This is a great place to stay for couples or families!

by far the best place out of my trip to the east coast for two weeks.

We had a lovely stay at Ann Marie’s place. It’s just like the pictures, and she absolutely deserves her super host rating! She was friendly and incredibly responsive, provided recommendations for the area, and told us everything we needed to know. The place was clean and stocked with all sorts of extra amenities you don’t usually find with Airbnb (snacks, travel toiletries, extra towels, hotel bathrobes, wrapped chocolate by the bed, water/milk/juice in the fridge, and more). We had a lovely swim in the pool and enjoyed wandering around Beacon and surrounding area. We would love to come back! Thank you so much, Ann Marie!

A very nice stay in a comfortable home and neighborhood. Candice made checking in and out extremely easy with her instructions.

Fantastic design, everything fresh and updated, and the special touches and messages helped us feel right at home. We stayed monday through saturday, and the neighborhood felt quiet and quintessentially charming. We used public transport which was readily available, once we got the hang of New Jersey's terminal (there is always someone there to help you find where bus will be, since app will not show gate). We found that google maps usually recommended bus 154 or 159 which arrive more frequently and are only an additional block away from the closest bus route which was literally just around the corner. We will definitely stay here again! Cecia was the ideal hostess.

Both Patrick and his apartment are wonderful! His place is our absolute first choice while visiting Warwick. The apartment is always spotless, the bed is super comfy, and the view from the living area is spectacular. We saw a menagerie of backyard wildlife this trip, including deer, bunnies, chipmunks, woodchucks, squirrels, and a whole host of different birds. And the apartment is easily walkable to everything the village has to offer. Patrick is a really kind human and we love chatting with him. We’re big fans!

The house is very modern, clean and organized. Nice stay, but too bad the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy the outdoor space.

We had a wonderful Hudson Valley stay at this property. Our grand-daughters loved sleeping together in the bedroom with two double beds; and my wife and I, plus our two daughters and their husbands enjoyed good nights of sleep in the three bedrooms containing a double or queen bed. The kitchen was well equipped; and the huge living room with large dining table was perfect for the children to play, the adults to relax, and all of us to eat. The artwork in the house gave it character, the views of the Hudson River were a treat, and the location was great for visits to Storm King Art Center and Legoland NY. The email which I brought along from AirBnB had the correct street, but the wrong numerical address; however, AirBnB promptly helped us find the correct address and helped us get into the house. Of all the houses which we have rented for family weekends, this was absolute the best one.

We had a fantastic stay! The home was perfect for our group! There was plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The house has a stunning view of the lake and the kids loved the swing set in the yard. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The house was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. The location was peaceful and picturesque — waking up to the lake view each morning was a treat. We would absolutely recommend this place to families or groups looking for a relaxing getaway in nature. Would love to come back again!

Some exceptional aspects of the home- the beautiful drive from New York to the home, the wonderful physical location, the peaceful and quiet surroundings, the modern architecture, elegant and well-appointed furniture, very comfortable beds and linens, beautiful outdoor spaces, pristine swimming pool, complete chef’s kitchen, excellent internet speed, clean bathrooms with good water pressure, spectacular views and sunsets, and most of all the kindness, warmth, generosity and responsiveness of the hosts.
