The marina village of Kippford with 2 pubs and a cafe is a 1 mile walk. 2 double bedrooms and one single bedroom. It is beautifully furnished throughout with colourful artwork,a large kitchen. It has a conservatory with views to the coast, open countryside with amazing sunsets. The cottage has large, colourful secluded garden, a spacious seated outdoor patio with a chimnea, and barbecue.

It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. Golf club hire and putting green a 5 minute walk, fishing bike hire trails and hiking numerous beach’s a short car ride Minimum stay 3 nights, sorry no children under 16 years of age and as much as we love our dogs we don’t allow them, so we can safely welcome guests with allergies to pets.

Lovely wooden holiday lodge in a beautiful scenic area on the Solway coast. This lodge has 3 bedrooms, open plan kitchen /living area, toilet and shower room, balcony, and parking for two cars. (sorry, no pets allowed) We are 10 mins walk from the tidal estuary, cockle shell beach and woodland walks , & 2min ride from Dalbeattie 7 Stanes Mountain bike trails Sadly The Anchor village pub closed in Dec25, and The Mariner won't open until summer 26. Other pubs/takeaways within 5-10min drive.
