House vacation rentals in Roche Harbor

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The view is stunning, and the beach is just a 3-minute drive away. We enjoyed the sunset every evening—especially while sitting on the cozy couch by the fireplace, it felt magical. The house was spotless, incredibly clean , and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with high-quality appliances, and there are even fun toys to enjoy during downtime. Oh and an amazing coffee machine. This place truly has everything you need and more.

What a great spot! Nestled in the woods in a peaceful and quiet setting this place is truly one-of-a-kind. The house is very unique with lots of character that sets it apart from the usual stays. It was clean and had all we needed. Our host Gramma Rikki was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate, and we could not take advantage of all the outdoor spaces and amenities. We played pool, sat by the cozy fire and did some island exploring by car. All in all it was a very enjoyable and relaxing getaway despite the crummy weather. We hope to return one day and experience everything this wonderful place has to offer.

We loved this place and the views it provided and we were able to walk to the beach every night. It is close to town and we loved the downtown area also.

This is a lovely property. There was a lot of thought put into making this property comfortable for guests. Nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen and plenty of good quality towels and pool towels. We made use of the hot tub and sauna. The hot tub and pool were well maintained during our stay. The weather was a bit chilly when we were there so we didn’t use the pool much. Would love to come back and experience Matt & Lina’s home in the summer.

Great place to stay for four nights

We’ve stayed at Sunny’s house twice and both times have been great! Beautiful views, and great neighborhood. Always very clean and comfortable.

We had a small group from work gather at April’s place and it was fantastic. So much space for us to spend time together. Everything was set up for us to have an amazing time: the pool was warm and so clean. There are tons of thoughtful touches in the home and the kitchen is incredibly stocked. It’s just a dream, we are so thankful! Our group wants to come back next year! Thank you!!!!

We had a wonderful stay. A group of several moms and daughters attending a local event. Perfect balance of communal space for making great connections with lovely private spaces for each family. Absolutely loved it and hope to do it again next year. Thank you Satnam!

My friend and I were fortunate enough to call this property “home” for a weekend. San Juan Property Management reached out to me a day in advance of my scheduled reservation and asked if it was okay for the septic to be maintenance performed. I was totally okay with this and appreciated the thumbs up. As a thank you, the company provided us with locally delicious chocolate and coffee. The home sits on Westcott Bay. I’m not typically a morning person but I couldn’t resist sitting out on the porch with a cup of coffee in the morning and soaking up the views. The kitchen is stocked with spices, and all the household things you’d need to be able to cook while staying here. The home was meticulously clean. Speaking of clean, the windows and glass were IMMACULATE. I had to do a double-take multiple times because I thought the front door was left open; however, it was just that the glass was THAT clean. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a local getaway on the San Juan Islands.

You pay for the view, and a beautiful view it is!! We loved our stay here and would love to come back. The property was a little dirty such as a spilled mess in the fridge, dirty floors with crumbs and hair, and foggy windows. We were also disappointed that the toiletries were so low that we had to immediately replenish them and didn’t even have time to relax before hitting up the store for provisions. Now for the good stuff!!! The views are incredible and the bedrooms were very comfortable. One thing to note is the tub is quite high and our grandma did have some troubles with that. Anyone with mobility limitations might want to look into this before booking. Cooking went smoothly for the most part, but we did have to buy a large baking sheet since there wasn’t one available. Most other kitchen items kept up with a group of 6. Cooking in Airbnbs always has its pros and cons but this kitchen had almost everything we needed for large-scale cooking (large pans, many dishes). Great hosts!

We’ve stayed at many airbnbs and this is the best one in terms of the hosts warmth, consideration and responsiveness. We felt at home right away! There were so many thoughtful touches in the home down to last details. We had a welcome note waiting for us on arrival and eggs from Eric’s farm. It’s also a very beautifully designed home. There are skylights in the bedroom so when we woke up felt like we were in the forest. There were many birds chirping outside in the morning even spotted a wood pecker. Also Eric has two adorable dogs that came to welcome us when we got there. My daughter used some of the guide books to plan our hikes- all in all it was an amazing stay. Anything we could possibly need for our stay was in the house including an amazing shower after hikes, binoculars and hiking poles. It was so beautiful we never wanted to leave!!

Our stay at the Captain's Quarters was amazing! The home itself was very clean, cozy, and full of lots of amenities to make it feel more like home. The view from the deck is unbeatable and the town of Deer Harbor is so peaceful. Alainah was super responsive and even let us know how the icy road conditions were before we got there in the winter.

We really enjoyed David’s house, which was clean, uncluttered, comfortable and beautiful, with beautiful views. David was very responsive with messages, and helpful with information about what might be happening in the area, and gave great suggestions for restaurants. Our vacation was even better than we’d planned because of David’s knowledgeable tips.

Our recent 5 night stay was excellent. Bedrooms set up was perfect. The rainy periods were quickly diverted with dozens of puzzles at the large dining table. Kitchen wears were plentiful…. even had a rolling pin for making my pie crust. Every imaginable pot and pan. We really enjoyed the extra large front porch with BBQ sheltered from the rain. Waking up to Westcott Bay wildlife is beautiful, didn’t see the Fox but plenty of deer and of course eagles!! Oysters down the street were wonderful. Thanks for a wonder stay.

Such a gorgeous location- we spend so much time on the deck just enjoying the view and the birds, and the kayaks and cruiser bikes were so much fun! Beautiful open indoor space, with vaulted ceilings and giant slider doors that let sunlight and the glorious view inside. Friendly, responsive hosts- We’ll definitely be back!

Booked this home for a wedding at Salt Farms, with a group of friends. This home was so much more than we expected; and we paid a fraction of the price that some of our other friends paid at local B&Bs at hotels. The house is huge and gorgeous, with so many different living spaces/hangout areas. The backyard is awesome with a fire pit and hot tub, and beautiful private views. This home was everything we needed and more!!

An unforgettable getaway in a truly one-of-a-kind place. This Airbnb is set in a stunningly beautiful location, surrounded by spectacular natural scenery that offers complete peace and serenity. It’s the perfect escape if you’re looking to unplug and recharge. You feel like you’re truly away from it all, immersed in nature. The architecture is both unique and impressive, blending seamlessly into the landscape while offering thoughtful design details throughout. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and every amenity was top quality. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook full meals. You can tell a lot of care went into ensuring guests have everything they need. One of the highlights was the wildlife. We saw plenty of birds and even a bald eagle right outside the window! If you’re looking for a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature (without sacrificing comfort), this is it.

We had such a great stay on the property! We loved exploring the land with our dog. There were plenty of walking trails in the wooded forest surrounding the house. We spent so much time on the deck drinking coffee, eating all our meals, and just hanging out while our dog lounged in the grass. This is the kind of AirBnb that has so many extra amenities beyond the basics, especially in the kitchen. There were so many spices and oils and cookware so all our group meals were easy to make. The location was perfect for us, peaceful surroundings and only a 10-15 minute drive to any part of the island. We even did a small hike very close by, not even a 2 minute drive. Overall, we highly recommend Andrew's place!

Philip’s home on Orcas is a magical place. From the top-tier furniture and finishings to the stunning location with a literal removable wall to experience nature, we had a perfect stay. Philip was flexible with check-in and check-out and even left us some treats. As someone who is 6’6” tall (2m) I absolutely loved the large sofas, tall ceilings, and extra-large soaking tub. We hope to return again soon!

This may be our favorite bnb we've stayed at on the islands and will probably be an annual thing. Such a perfect location and so quiet! Parking at the home is great, kitchen is fully loaded, living room is incredibly cozy, and all the seating from kitchen, to front window, to couch was perfect. We've stayed in places that were cool and fun locations, but there is rarely places to really cozy up and enjoy your stay in. The home was truly inspiring for someone who wants to build a tiny cabin one day. I wouldn't change a thing, cannot wait to get back!

We enjoyed our stay at True North. There were 7 of us including 3 children. We all enjoyed the hot tub and yard games. It’s a great private location while still being close to all the trails and excursions. Plenty of games for the kids. We were happy with our choice.

This spacious house was a great find. The pool table was a fun bonus, and the views from the windows were stunning. While I appreciate that the San Juan Islands can be pricey, especially during Labor Day weekend, the price felt a bit steep for this property. That said, I'd still recommend it for its comfortable accommodations and beautiful location.
