spent two nights here - douglas place was very serene. quiet and peaceful. the beach is about 40 mins walk through the forest. make sure you book the hot tub was well worth it :) douglas and kate are stellar hosts - super responsive friendly but also knows to give you space to relax. great spirits thank you - we will be back for that future sauna ;)

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in the woods, the perfect peaceful retreat from city life. The hot tub was such a treat in the evenings. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit too, and it was great that firewood was provided. The cabin was clean and cozy, and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. Two small things to note: the two doors facing the bed don’t have curtains, so it gets quite bright in the morning and feels a bit exposed, I found it a little uncomfortable. Also, the path leading up to the cabin was very muddy, so make sure you wear the right shoes. Overall, I would stay again, it was a great getaway, and we left feeling refreshed.

Amazing stay! Small cute space in a very quiet neighborhood! Loved the bath house. Would recommend for a couple looking to get out of the city for a quiet weekend get away!

Very beautiful and peaceful! Wonderfully decorated and super accommodating as we brought our little girl and dog with us! Would stay again when we are on the coast!
