Nice high standard cabin for rent. Located in a small private cottage area with a short distance to Norefjell ski resort. Hiking and skiing trails in the immediate vicinity. The nearest village is Noresund. There you will find shops and a gas station. 1st floor contains hallway, storage room, large bathroom with sauna, 1 bedroom with family bed, (Space for 3), Living room and open kitchen solution. On the 2nd floor there are 2 bedrooms + a small living room with a seating area. There is also a day bed. Bedroom 1: double bed, bedroom 2: two single beds.

Welcome to our cozy family cabin at Gausta! The cabin is from 2022 and is our own little holiday pearl that we rent out when we are not using it ourselves. Here you get a modern, space-efficient cabin spread over two floors. Nice half of a vertically divided semi-detached house that was renovated in the period 2010-2012, including new roof, new cladding and new windows. Most surfaces have been upgraded in recent times, and the home is bright and renovated in terms of time. The property has a nice location in a well-established residential area, about 1.4 km west of Rjukan city center. From the property you have walking distance to all city amenities. NOTE! Separate prices for rental of bed linen and towels as well as final cleaning.

Charming apartment where you can relax and recharge. Sleeps 3 people with a bed and upgraded with a new sofa bed in September 2025. There is a good parking possibility by the apartment. A short distance to the bus stop, where the mountain bus that goes to Gaustablikk also stops during the high season. This mountain bus is free to take to the mountains. Tinn museum is right next door and the other sights Rjukan and Tinn have to offer are located with immediate distance. Walking distance to shop with Sunday open.

Newer cabin with great views and nice hiking opportunities

Viking age hut listed in 2017 in Øygarden hut area. It is a small cabin area with good distance between the cabins and you have great hiking opportunities just outside the door. The cabin has 3 bedrooms. There is room for 7, but it is best suited for couples or families with children. There is a personal touch to the cabin as it is often used by us as well, so there will be basic goods in kitchen cabinets and there may be goods in refrigerators with durability. Use whatever you need during your stay.

Experience the sun in the square from the sun mirror, the stone network on Hardangervidda, a discovery tour to explore the architecture in the city, take the Krossobanen up to Hardangervidda, the Industrial Workers' Museum and the heavy water production at Vemork or try Gausta ski center and Gaustabanen up to Gaustatoppen (or a great walk).
