Vacation rentals with lake access in Rives-d'Andaine

We had a pleasant weekend at Nolwen's. The house is spacious (we were 6 adults and 5 children) and well-equipped. Even though the sun wasn't out, we enjoyed the garden which was great. The house is well placed to explore the area; the path that leads to the city center is nice for walking with the children.

Second stay this year at this house ideally located for hiking and visiting the beautiful villages nearby. Well equipped and pleasant.

We had a lovely stay at Nathalie's cottage. The house is spacious and tidy, but especially the view did it to him. From the spacious garden you look right at the old city, with towers and city gate, while you hear a babbling stream in the background. From the cottage you can walk 5 minutes to the city and to the castle. So as far as we are concerned, it's well worth it!

A great stay for family gatherings at Valerie's. The cottage is convenient and functional to meet 10 people! The exteriors are very pleasant and the weather allowed us to enjoy it. We keep the address!!

A house full of charm, convenient and very well-located. A magical garden. Lots of things to do in and around the house. You should know that it is a rustic accommodation, so with its beams (some are a little low, beware of the big ones!), its Chinese decorations, its large fireplace, its cracking stairs... we love or we hate, but it's for me what looks like the house of happiness, or families with or without children can have fun and find themselves without a headache. The hosts are welcoming and kind, valuable advice. Anyway, we'll be back!

We had a great stay, with direct access to the forest, the lake is within walking distance, with many hiking trails. The accommodation was impeccable and very well-equipped .

What a fantastic place to have a family holiday! We stayed in an apartment and it was spacious enough for a family of 5, well equipped and comfortable. Facilities on site were excellent, our children attended the kids club a few times and made lots of new friends. The pool area with loungers was our favorite spot, we had great weather which helped. The staff here were also exceptional, suggesting places to visit and when we had car trouble they were so kind and helpful with translation. Would highly recommend for a family holiday.

Accommodation located in the city center with a parking space. Quiet, extremely clean accommodation with many amenities in the kitchen perfectly suited for a stay of a WE or more. Excellent bedding. Available and responsive host giving wise advice to facilitate the stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

Comfortable accommodation with the ground floor with kitchen, living room and dining area. 2 comfortable bedrooms (but we were warm the first 2 nights since the outside temperature was 30°). For the two bathrooms, bathtub or shower, we are used to showerheads, but there is not. Comfortable accommodation. Neil was very responsive to a small key issue upon arrival. La Ferrière aux Etangs may seem remote, but we visited Lisieux on the road for our arrival, Fougères the next day then the spa of Bagnoles de l 'Orne, the Château de Falaise and its medieval festivals on Sundays before returning by the coast and Dives sur Mer and Houlgate. Very satisfied.

Great stay! Photos don't actually do home justice. Well-decorated rooms, spacious just like the rest of the rooms. Bathroom for each bedroom which is rare. The activities at our disposal (swimming pool, ping pong, billiards) allowed us to stay on site and avoid going on the road because we only stayed 2 days so it was perfect. We chatted with the housekeeper who is also very friendly. A big thank you to Dorn also for his responsiveness. Only downside: checkout at 10am but we understand given the surface to be cleaned.

We stayed in cottage for one week. The cottage was very complete and very clean. With a private garden at the edge of the forest. We enjoyed it!

Very friendly and attentive hosts, always ready to help. Spacious and clean facilities, high-quality amenities. I recommend staying in this house with total confidence, I hope to return again to enjoy this five-star accommodation.

What a beautiful place in beautiful surroundings. We had such a wonderful time staying here. Edward, our host, was very welcoming of us and our four dogs. The gite was perfect, had everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful, we could cook, BBQ, eat indoors or enjoy eating outdoors. Edward had even provided some wine, cheese, butter, milk, bread, jam, juice, shower gel, shampoo etc. in fact everything to get us started and more. There were plenty of good quality towels to use too and we used the sofa bed in the living area for one night for a family member and the sheets were all provided and it was comfortable. The grounds are amazing and it is so peaceful. The perfect place to relax and unwind. I cannot recommend this place enough and if Edward will host us again then we will be back!

Axel was a great host. He made us feel welcome and happily explained the history and culture of the house and region. He took the trouble to make us feel at home despite ours being a very last minute booking. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
