Family-friendly vacation rentals in Rives-d'Andaine

We spent an enjoyable week at Martine’s gites. We are a family of 5 - me and my husband, an almost 16 year old son and 2 daughters aged 13 and almost 11. The ‘children’ loved the outdoor space - the hot tub, the animals, the swing ball and the space to explore. We were slightly disappointed that the outdoor pool wouldn’t be open until May (we knew this when booking) but were delighted with the covered, large hot tub. We made use of the bikes that Martine has and cycled into St Pierre for the market - which was there in William the Conquerer’s time. The roads were quiet and the scenery was beautiful. The kids said it was one of their favourite days. The beds are very comfortable and we all slept soundly. The rooms are decorated nicely and pleasant. The kitchen had everything that we needed. While 2 of the bedrooms had tvs in, there is no specific lounge room. This wasn’t a problem for us - we spent our evenings around the dining table playing board games - more fun than tv!

Claude's place is of high quality and will certainly live up to your expectations. Note: the accommodation is very well acoustically insulated as long as we close the door but hey it makes sense The small cats on the property will delight you under the Normandy sun.

We booked this place for a short trip and found an apartment perfectly suited to our expectations. The self-check-in system is convenient knowing that Nadine is very available to communicate useful information before check-in and always effective in case of special need. The accommodation is very clean and provides numerous amenities in good condition. A special mention for the bathroom which is really functional. The plus of the accommodation is the provision, for residents, of a spa and sauna which is rare enough to be notified. An outdoor relaxation area completes the options offered to visitors. In summary, this rental has all the qualities required for a pleasant stay, friendly communication, quiet environment, complete and good quality amenities, shops nearby. We would definitely recommend this address.

Nicky was a very flexible and accommodating host. Nothing was too much trouble. She provided a lovely welcome pack to get you started after a long trip. During our stay was very helpful with local knowledge, even helping with my French 😊 Couldn’t have asked for a better break away for peace and quiet in a tranquil location with fantastic views. We will miss our lovely walks down the lane. Will definitely return. A perfect little gem. Thank you.

If you're looking for peace, greenery and comfort, you've found the right place! We fell in love with this unique and rejuvenating place. We spent our stay in Bouillerie, a very cozy and neat little farmhouse tastefully decorated… and the view from the sofa is simply exceptional!! Didier & Corinne are very attentive and do not hesitate to share their good recommendations to make your stay a success. We're already nostalgic... we'll definitely be back!

We appreciated the historical setting, interacting with the animals, and the beautiful nature surrounding, waking up to the sounds of the birds. The pool was also a big hit as was dining outside.

Lovely place , was perfect for me and my son. Anne and Thierry were very helpful and made us feel very welcome . The table tennis and the Boule were a great bonus. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings too, thoroughly recommended!

Great location, close to Gacé, Camembert and Vimoutiers. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The place is very quiet. No worries about parking, even with a van. The host is very friendly, we were hosted very well and had a lovely stay!

Amazing spot to unwind from the big wide world, two hounds loved it with great walks in mature woods on your door step, with beautiful surrounding country side. Everyone we met or interacted with was friendly and very helpful. Great local produce to be had so go find it as you will not be disappointed. Would not and will not hesitate to highly recommend and book again....

Au Bonheur is a magical and totally unusual place, the different accommodations are well spaced from each other, calm and nature reigns around us, and in 600 as by bivouquering in the heart of nature. When it comes to hospitality, we felt like we were coming to the family or friends we already know, while having our privacy and freedom in this area. A big thank you to this very welcoming family. I sincerely advise you to stop by, it's worth a visit.

Beautiful property, well maintained and absolutely quiet. The pool is a real plus. Bill welcomes you upon arrival and offers you a bottle of cider and a hearty breakfast for the next morning. Thank you for your attention!

Excellent long weekend with friends. The area is beautiful, the accommodation is in a great location, close to several tourist sites and hiking activities, bike tours, kayaking. Jennifer is a very friendly host, contact is very easy.

Perfect chalet for our stay with a beautiful view. Near town but not right in it. Place was as described. Easy to find and get into, very clear instructions. Comfortable beds. Plenty of kitchen items to be able to cook when desired. WiFi works although there is a limit to what could be used for the stay, but somewhat to be expected being outside of town. Would stay here again.

The cottage is located in a perfect, soothing and peaceful environment. We spent 2 nights and 2 very pleasant days, with beautiful activities that were directly advised by Laurent, one in the estate and the rest in the surrounding towns (scooter in the middle of the forest: we recommend it's great for those who love feeling), canoeing, and visiting with magnificent views Thank you to Laurent for his welcome, responsiveness and recommendations that allowed us to live our stay 100%.
