Monthly Rentals in River Lagan

We spent a very happy six months there, between selling our home and moving abroad. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and, by the time we left, it felt like home. This was largely due to the friendliness and care shown by Ed and Amy which ranged from gritting the steps and driveway on frosty mornings to filling flasks and hot water bottles when the whole area was without power for five days during Storm Eowyn. The garden is beautiful to walk around, as are views of the surrounding countryside. Thank you both for everything.

Our second time staying in this accommodation and will happily return again. Jon was very responsive and accommodating. He left us some treats which were a lovely touch after a 3 hour drive and the kitchen is equipped with the essentials to cook with too which was great! We had a beautiful stay with fantastic weather to explore the area. Highly recommend for a stay in Lisburn.

Visiting from the US, my family and I loved the location - right in the heart of Hillsborough village. The park/trail, playground, shops and restaurants are all just a short walk away. There’s a Co-Op convenience store just across the street which was useful. While the place is cozy and full of character, we appreciated having the updated kitchen and amenities. We will definitely stay the next time we’re visiting family in the area!

My wife and I had an enjoyable month-long stay in Belfast. Paula's cottage was perfect. We spent a lot of time biking to various places within Belfast so its location was ideal and the neighborhood was very pleasant and quiet. The cottage looks out onto her well manicured back garden. The one-bedroom one-bath cottage was the right size for 2 people. And Paula was a lovely host and a valuable resource for learning the city with helpful recommendations on places to dine. We developed a friendship over the course of our stay. Plans are to return to Belfast next year with the hopes of staying there when we do.
