A lovely comfortable lodge, very private in beautiful surroundings. Claire was very helpful, a great host. We enjoyed the hot tub and the walks in the area and also walking to the Dairy for icecream. Would definitely return for a second stay.

Perfect sanctuary. It was everything we needed to escape life for a few days. Everything was pristine. The views were amazing. The neighbouring sheep had lots of entertaining chat and it was enclosed for our dog. We will definitely return in the future.

Absolutely beautiful lodge with an amazing view of Loch Ness. Easy walk to The Falls of Foyers and down to the shores of the loch. The hot tub was amazing, the lodge was very clean and the instructions for access were helpful and accurate. We hired a car which I would recommend and we visited Fort Augustus, Inverness and Chanonry Point (got to see dolphins!). All of these were easily driveable from the lodge. One of the nicest places I've stayed and we will definitely recommend to friends!

We had such a lovely weekend staying at the Highland Hilly Huts in Drumnadrochit. The hut itself was beautiful – really cosy and well thought out, with lots of sweet little touches that made it feel so welcoming. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful – friendly, accommodating, and clearly passionate about making guests feel at home. You can tell a lot of care has gone into every detail. The absolute highlight for us was the homemade bread – Such a thoughtful and unexpected treat that made our stay even more memorable. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing break.

Our lodge stay at Kiltarlity was amazing! The accommodation was perfect and exceeded our expectations! We loved every minute of our stay and, time have the use of the hot tub too, was an added bonus! The lodge was in a perfect location for exploring the local area, within easy reach of Loch Ness and Fort Augustus (for example), yet allowed privacy and the peace and tranquility of the Scittish countryside. We will definitely book again!

This cabin was idealic. Stunning location, so peaceful and the cabin itself was perfect. Spotlessly clean, every utensil you could need. Comfortable beds and pillows ( I would like to know where the pillows were purchased) fresh clean bedding. The hot tub was incredible. The bbq was a lovely bonus which we used of an evening. We had a lovely stay at Riverside Cottage, beautiful location. Perfect cosy base to come back to after a day exploring Glen Affric and the wider area. Highly recommend if you are looking to get away from the bustle of city life for a few days.

We had an amazing week! The pictures of the cabin don’t do it justice. It was our home from home and in a beautiful setting right next to Loch Ness. Paul was an excellent host and left us a wonderful welcome basket and had given us information about how close the cabin is to the Great Glen Way. We did some beautiful cycling routes with our kids along the Lochs and stored our bikes in a new bike store right next to the cabin that Paul had just built! Would highly recommend and we will be back!

Great accommodation to stay in. Easy driving distance from Kingussie village and Aviemore. The kitchen was very well equipped the owner had thought of everything. Communication was excellent throughout whole process. Was worried about neighbour noise but other then when out on the back door you wouldn’t know they were any neighbours. Dressing gowns for hot tub and sky tv were excellent extras. Can’t wait to stay again.

Such a perfect vacation spot! Right on the beach with a walkable distance to town. Easy to check in with Margaret. Thank you for the stocked refrigerator! One thing to keep in mind is if you have a tall vehicle you’ll have to take a different route due to a low bridge on the main road.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Angela’s cabin near Glen Affric. The location is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for relaxing. We stayed in a cozy two-bedroom cabin that was ideal for our little family. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and we especially loved waking up to the sound of birds singing in the morning. Angela was a fantastic host—friendly, welcoming, and full of great local tips that helped us make the most of our visit. Glen Affric itself is stunning, and the whole area felt like a perfect escape into nature. We’d happily come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway.

Step outside the door to hear the chirping of the birds and (if you’re lucky) the bleating of the lambs in the pasture. This idyllic cottage is exactly as pictured, very cozy and a great stop in our exploration of Scotland.

We had an amazing experience at Torcroft lodges! It was clean, comfy and in a peaceful location! It has everything we needed. It was only a short drive(maybe 10 minutes) to Loch Ness with restaurants and shops. We would recommend this place to anyone. Simon was so welcoming and kinda.

The Pod was perfectly equipped and thoughtfully designed. And the location was very beautiful. Bed was very comfortable and waking up to the views of beautiful sheeps and ponies was amazing! and top it all, Sabrina was so sweet to come and greet us on arrival, give plenty of local interesting recommendations. In spite of having coffee, assortment teas with fresh milk in the fridge, she even gave us 2 farm fresh eggs for our breakfast from her chicken. It was a great experience and we will definitely recommend this place!

What an amazing location. Right on the Loch just like the photos. An easy walk (100m) down to a stone beach where you can swim. We had a drink on the balcony each evening enjoying the view and the serenity. Even had a visit from the pine marten. There were two other lodges close by, but they are all private and well separated. The location is a little remote, but that was a big plus for us. We found the quality of produce in the region exceptional so decided to cook during our stay and maximize the time we had to enjoy the location. The kitchen has all you need to cook for yourself. There are places to eat in the area if you want to eat out. The lodge was very clean and well laid out. Dermot is super responsive and leaves detailed instructions for everything. We would happily return.

The log cabin has been the best and most beautiful accommodation we have booked through this platform. The cleanliness was just perfect and the two hosts were warm and helpful people. There was really everything we needed. Despite the small size, the kitchen was perfectly equipped and there was enough space for a family with 2 children. Will and Brian put a lot of effort and love into each of their cabins. They have a high standard of perfection and were always there for us when we needed something. We especially took Will to our hearts! A chat with him is highly recommended. We would love to come back and hope that the two can continue to cultivate and enjoy this special place for a long time. We would also like to give 6 stars if we only could. Thank you both for this great time! Local tip: a walk to the beach, with or without throwing stones!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and very well-equipped. The location was perfect, beautiful view, close to everything I needed, (Loch Ness and the castle) and in a quiet area. William was quick to respond with our inquiries. We were able to check in early since the space was available. Super walkable from the main shopping area. The view was to die for, sitting on a hill overlooking the castle currently under construction. Very relaxing and clean. Exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay again if we made our way to Inverness.
