Beautiful location. Cannot beat it. You can hear the ocean and are steps away from a gorgeous beach that is not crowded at all. My children loved the small tub on the back porch especially when it was raining. Our stay was magical!

The location of the cabin is perfect, apart from that it is super equipped with everything!!! Even an air fryer. It's small but perfect, and if we add the million stars that can be seen thanks to the low light pollution, and listening to the wind in the trees, it's priceless. I recommend it a thousand times!!

The very nice place, the only thing is that in the main room the light sticks full at 6 am, otherwise,a very nice cabin

it is perfect the place to be beautiful we will return , the only thing missing is a small wood heater inside the cabin the place is really cold at night , otherwise perfect 💯🙏🏻

We went as a family and the 5 of us and a cat settled in very ☺️well. The atmosphere is very quiet. The fireplace is cozy and easy to use. We drove to several nearby restaurants, such as in Santa María de Dota, and enjoyed the ride as well. An excellent place to rest, with a nice view from the balcony and very fresh air!

Metamorfinca is an absolutely stunning property that blends luxury and peaceful simplicity. We had multiple folks in our party. Our family of four stayed in Casa Cascada and our accompanying single guest stayed in a Jungle Pod. Casa Cascada is perfect for families or two couples. You will feel at home with all of the amenities you need in the kitchen (including fresh eggs from their farm), two bathrooms, and two well appointed bedrooms. There is a shared deck in the living area and an individual balcony off of each bedroom. Everyone can be together and yet have individual space to breathe. And the attention to detail in design is amazing, for those who appreciate such things. The Jungle Pod is awesome for 1-2 people. Again, beautifully designed and super functional and well equipped. And then there is all to enjoy on the property— a pool, hot tub, yoga shala, gardens, animals, river and more. We are so grateful for our time there and can’t wait to go back to continue the magic.

Nice place, the cabin is very tidy and clean, to enjoy the views, the host gave us the complete information and we were able to relax thanks to the stillness of the night, highly recommended

This place is fantastic. Big and spacious. Peaceful and quiet. We had hoped for lots of birds and more wildlife, but that was practically nonexistent. The place is fairly close to Santa Maria, which offers everything you would need for supplies and some great restaurants. If you are a larger group, this is the perfect place. Especially if you have kids. The soccer field was awesome. We would stay here again, and Gustavo and his group of helpers were very responsive and on top of everything! Thanks for helping make our stay wonderful.

We had a family weekend and everything was perfect! Sidney was always attentive to any need, however the place is so complete, with easy access to the property, it is easy to enter the cabin, his instructions and directions are so clear that it is not necessary to "bother" Sidney! It is a charming cabin, as soon as you arrive you notice the love that was put into every detail, surrounded by nature and with a beautiful view, during your stay you breathe peace and calm! We would definitely go back a thousand times! We made precious memories in this beautiful space!

I only have one word for this place: BEAUTIFUL! The Location is a perfect place to get lost a couple days. you can walk around the place or take a tour with the local operator. The neighbors are so lovely (they call the door to give us some Easter snacks and homemade ice cream), so the place is extremely peaceful and you may see Crestones from there! About the cabin... no words, the pictures don't give enought credit to the place, it has plenty of room for an entire family. internet works perfect what make it great for nomads. Be prepared for nights under 10⁰C and fresh days, bring enough food & drinks because there's no shops nearby. Attention: you'll be in a rural township, so don't blame the place for the bugs and the noisy singing birds... you're invading them! The fridge is too tiny, definitely it's something to improve, we personally would love some ambient lamps on the living and rooms, and night tables at the bed's sides. ELSE... DON'T DOUBT TO GO THERE!

Luis was a wonderful host. Very attentive and responsive, and had no problem answering our questions despite the language barrier. All the necessities were available, as well as extras we didn't expect. His family even gave us a small parting gift for each of my young children on our last day. The house is in a beautiful location; somewhat difficult to find at first through the winding mountain roads, but once we knew where it was it was nice to have such a private spot. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Having a morning coffee on the patio looking out over the valley was my favourite part of our trip!

Very nice stay at Pura Villa, my husband and I enjoyed the peace of the cabin with the sound of the river in the background, Roger was very kind.

This stay was a fun adventure—like camping but with the comfort of a room! It would make a great camping-style getaway for a family. The location was fantastic, just about five minutes from the beach and with eateries in both directions. A couple of things to keep in mind: there’s only a fan for cooling, and the water is cold, but after a day at the beach, it’s actually quite refreshing! Overall, a unique and enjoyable experience for those looking for a simple, nature-inspired stay. Can't recommend enough.

We had such an incredible stay here. Walking through an incredible garden by Marino Ballena National Park in the morning felt like the biggest treat. Listening to monkeys and macaws from the terrace was a total immersion in nature. I needed to walk to see Uvita Oasis’s pool, laundry room, veranda, outside seating areas, etc. Our cabin in the Uvita Oasis was a perfect blend of comfort and convenience. With excellent air conditioning and WiFi, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to be completely self-sufficient. Although there are various private parking areas in Uvita Oasis, the cabin had its own parking space well protected from the sun. Milena, our dedicated point of contact at Uvita Oasis, was exceptional. She swiftly arranged a day trip to Corcovado within a couple of hours and was always prompt in her responses, ensuring our needs were met. 100% recommend

This place is beautiful! the street to get there is totally accessible by any type of vehicle (important to know in Costa Rica). It's very peaceful and private Every detail in the cabin was carefully put in. It's equipped with everything it takes to spend one or several days. There are places to eat, including trout fishing where you eat very fresh. The host was super friendly and communicative . We would come back without thinking, we love the area!

We had a wonderful one. We love to go into the mountains, discover new and less traveled roads, and reach that little paradise where everything was designed with a lot of love. The environment with its flowers, which attract many butterflies, the orchard, from which we take some aromatic herbs to make our food. We connect with the silence, with the wind in the trees, with the stars that we miss seeing in the city, and with the little bugs of light that visited us one night. The cabin is very cozy and is perfectly equipped to make your stay pleasant: hot water, three heaters, good blankets, a kitchen with everything you need, beautiful windows (we really enjoyed the view from the room with the double bed). The fact that there was no TV, wifi or phone signal was a plus in the connection between us: we played board games, read, and cooked together. We combine all this with walks through some of the many places the area offers.
