In kürzester Zeit sind der Tappeinerweg, der Waalweg, aber auch die Altstadt von Meran erreichbar. Erstmals urkundlich erwähnt scheint der Hof im Jahre 1323 auf. Ein mächtiges Rundbogengewölbe und eiserne Türen zeugen noch heute von der damaligen Zeit.
