This home was a gem. Tucked in and surrounded by beauty, it was just what my family needed as a “base” for our adventures. It is evident that much care and attention was put into keeping up this property and making it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

Another Amazing Stay! This was our third year staying at this Airbnb, and we couldn’t be happier! The house is spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our large family. Every year, it feels like a home away from home, with everything we need to relax and enjoy our time together. What truly sets this place apart is the owner’s hospitality. From the beginning, they have always made us feel more like friends than guests. Their attention to detail and care for the property make each stay seamless and enjoyable. Amazing little farm house surrounded by a working farm. For you city slickers like us, you will love the change of pace and peaceful vibe it brings. From the wood stove to the kitchen table, it distinctly tells you to just chill for a bit. There’s even an old rotary phone that you will definitely want to give a spin to bring back a memory. Overall, a great property for a nice reboot back to the good old days.

We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely will staying next time when we are in the area. My family and I (7 adults) were able to spread out comfortably thought all the bedrooms. It was a great midway point for our family most of us from Denver and my brother and his wife from Santa Fe. We loved the bee and antique furnishings throughout the house. We especially loved going to the hot springs almost every day we were there. We also enjoyed playing a little poker and other games after soaking in the spring. We really appreciate Donnie responding promptly for a minor issue we had.

This is probably one of the best Airbnb's we have stayed at. The house was so beautiful decorated and everything was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. Which was a major plus since so many other places we have stayed have an non stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable and each room was spacious. Our kids loved the swing upstairs and the friendly cat that greats you. The location is perfect for visiting the sand dunes and hot springs. It was nice to be somewhere so quite and with incredible views. If we make it back to the area again we'd definitely stay again.

This was a great house for the 7 of us (4 kids from age 2-11) and 3 adults. It was spacious, had everything we needed, has character, and was a good location to use as a base to get out and see the Monte Vista National Wildlife park and the Sand Dunes. There is also a kids playground just a couple of blocks away which was an added bonus for us. I'd definitely choose to stay here again!

Perfect home base for our 3 night stay in Monte Vista. We hiked in the area (Deadman's Loop was a great trail-almost 5 miles), visited the Great Dunes Park, and Zapata Falls. We utilized the kitchen to prepare meals, enjoyed the nice hot shower, and had good night rest in their comfortable bed. Had everything we needed. We will stay here again when returning to this area.

This place is definitely a heck of a deal! The quaint little cabin was perfect, it had enough space for my outdoors gear, and the size of the cabin made it easy to keep neat and clean. The location of the cabin was perfect as well!! Nestled just outside of southfork it boasts a wonderful view of mountains and emanates a truly peaceful vibe. Overall, the trip was amazing and hopefully we'll be back soon!

Cute and not super expensive. Was a quiet night for our short stay. You can walk to multiple different restaurants from this location as well!

This was a clean and comfortable gem! I was glad for the nearby laundry facility. The local flavor of staying on the main street was fun but not too noisy. The area is beautiful in any season. The hosts communicated well how to check-in and their expectations for locking up when coming and going. I felt safe there!

The place is incredible, you enjoy peace and quiet, it has enough space for large groups of people, we were 10 and we all slept very comfortable, the kitchen was very complete, you will find all the utensils you need to cook. We will definitely come back in summer 🤩

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was extremely nice & the instructions left for check in/parking were very clear. It was easy to find on the first night even arriving in the dark. There were a lot of great places to snag a drink & eat within 2 minutes of a walk. Do NOT skip out on Raisin Rye for coffee and bread/pastries. ⭐️ Overall fantastic weekend in Del Norte with this quiet and clean oasis to come back to after a long day out.

We LOVED this place! I can see why it’s a guest favorite. It was probably the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in. The whole entire place felt super fancy. All of the furniture and beds were so so nice. The price was super reasonable for what we got! We stayed here to ski at Wolf Creek and it was perfect. The kids loved the upstairs and there was so much room! Looked way bigger than the pics even. We are already planning our next trip and definitely want to stay here again! 10/10 recommend this place!

Affordable and spacious. Liked being on the River where I could fish for a bit in the afternoons. Easy Drive up to Wolf Creek daily to ski.
