High standard mountain cabin an hour from Tromsø

Spacious and well-equipped cabin built in 2014-2015 to a high standard. The cabin is located in a small, and relatively new cabin area 1 hour drive from Tromsø. Great easy going tournament to all seasons. From autumn and throughout the winter, this is an ideal place to see the northern lights due to low light pollution. It is also easy to put on your skis or snowshoe right outside the cabin wall. Great opportunities for hunting and fishing. This is a place to relax with family or good friends.

Dåfjord Lodge & Ocean sauna

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing and watcing the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. For a fee, our guests can also book the ocean sauna hot tub facilities , with a woodfired hot-tub and sauna placed on a big outdoor deck with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone. Guests can use our 12ft rowing boat and some fishing gear for free during the summerseason.

We love our house! It's on the most amazing location right by the sea with a view over beautiful mountains, surrounded by nature, and if you are lucky you'll see wild life like reindeers, otters, moose and whales and you can also see Northern Lights from the house. We built the house in 2018 and moved in right away. The house is modern, well equipped and it has a fantastic panorama sauna only a few meters from the sea. The place is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly and helpful.

Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. You will have bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchen room only for you while during staying time😄 The area is perfect for Northern Light, ski and ice fishing in winter. You can just wait in livingroom for the Aurora 💚😊 In summer you can enjoy fishing and walking on the beach here. House location is next to main road E8, easy to travel to another city, easy access and a bus stop also right in front here. 😊
