My partner and I spend a weekend at Pia‘s lovely cottage and we loved every second of it. Check-in was easy and flexible with a personalised check-in code and the communication with Pia was excellent. She gave us a lot of tips for restaurants and activities ahead of time and responded to messages immediately. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations, you can certainly see the love and consideration Pia puts into every little detail. We got fresh breakfast supplies according to our preferences and enjoyed the amazing view on our little balcony while watching the birds. We loved the bathroom which had a big spa bathtub with bath salts and organic toiletries. During the day the nearby road would get a little busy occasionally (it was a warm summer weekend after all), but being inside the cottage you wouldn’t hear a sound so it didn’t bother us at all. It was a wonderful experience to stay in Pia‘s cottage and we can’t recommend it enough to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in nature

Absolutely lovely cottage, even better than the photos. Host also provided amenities and fresh bread which was such a treat, really cute get away for a short stay. Only thing to note is that the main road is close so you will hear cars driving past all night and windows face the public/ other guests.

The Observatory Cottages at the top of Mt Dandenong has been the place to stay in the ranges for years, and with good reason! We last visited Ironbark cottage 20 years ago and we loved it this time as we did two decades ago. It’s extremely cosy and private and you can easily spend a whole weekend at the cottage without leaving! The spa and gas log fire place are highlights, adding to the warm and cozy vibe. Penny leaves great provisions for a cooked breakfast for two mornings and there’s a kitchen if you feel like staying in. She has great communication and is very responsive if you need her for anything. A beautiful choice for a weekend of R&R. Highly recommended.

Mindy’s place was beautifully presented in a quiet location. Bathrooms were spotless and rest of the house was just as clean. The views were stunning and incredibly peaceful. Would absolutely recommend. Thanks again.

Review for Penny: Owl’s Croft is absolutely magical and absolutely worth checking out!! We spent two nights at Owl’s Croft, it was such a cosy and warm cottage and quiet too! Upon arrival we were greeted with notes welcoming us as it was a contactless check in. There was Bacon and Eggs in the fridge, bread and little chocolates all supplied which was beyond our expectations! The place was immaculate and felt so comfortable, the birds that came to feed upon the supplied bird seed just enhanced our wonder and joy at being in such a magical environment! We cannot thank Penny enough for providing such a wonderful environment to enjoy our new years celebration. Thank you Penny and we plan on coming back again as it just made our journey into 2025 absolutely perfect 🥰

It was our second stay at the cottage and we thoroughly loved the experience. The cottage is everything the description says - peaceful, serene, tranquil, pristine and so tastefully decorated. Kate, the hostess, exceeded our expectations again! Kate has thought through every single detail and anything a guest may need during their stay has been provided for. Our family spent 5 nights over the Easter break at the cottage. We were able to truly slow down, recharge and rejuvenate. Daily walks by the sea side, a well stocked super market and cafes around the corner, a beautiful and fully fenced backyard with a covered area for a BBQ were some of the highlights. Big thanks from our family to Kate.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Shaun’s gorgeous cottage, we felt right at home. It was in a great location - close to the shops, Warburton Rail Trail and only a short drive to explore some beautiful areas in the Yarra Valley. The cottage was super clean and Shaun was very friendly, responsive and excellent at communicating. I loved that I was able to take my dog on the trip with us, the garden was a great size and fully fenced and secure. It was a very peaceful and quiet spot. I would highly recommend.

We had a lovely three night stay in this comfortable cottage with our small dog. It was a very comfortable home to stay in with lots of thoughtful touches. Vicki was a great communicator before we arrived and also provided plenty of helpful information in the house. We felt the location was perfect with the beach and general store walkable and many other sights only a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our family of four had such a lovely stay here. The cottage was even nicer than the pics, with lots of thoughtful touches. The pool and gardens are gorgeous, too, and host Caesar (the lab) took us on a walk through the grounds, past the cows and horses, olive trees and more. Kate and Evan were very welcoming and gave us clear instructions about everything. Location-wise, it was nice and central, with Port Arlington, Barwon Heads etc an easy drive away and we found lots of activities to keep the kids entertained. Thanks for having us!

We had a fantastic stay at Jess's place. It's a gorgeous house in a stunning location and perfect for a weekend away with a group of people. Jess was fabulous at communicating and I would definitely stay again. (The bed in the main bedroom was insanely comfy!)

Matilda’s Cottage was a perfect little spot that catered two nights before our wedding and our wedding night. While we are local, I highly reccomend utilising this cosy quiet accommodation. You are not far from gisborne vineyards and town centre and a short drive up the freeway into the Macedon ranges. Take a short drive continuing up benson rd you’ll grab a nice view of the valley. Thanks for having us!

We had a pleasant stay at Ryan's place! The home is exactly as shown in the pictures—it has the charm and character of a 1920s cottage without compromising on modern comforts. Ryan was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We asked if a BBQ could be arranged, and he kindly provided one before we arrived. It really made our stay extra special.

A lovely quaint home. Soft bed linen and comfortable bed. Fabulous shower pressure. Most enjoyed the light filled,sunlit lounge. Looking out the windows to greenery was special. Old world garden my favourite.

Great place to stay. Secure - a little haven in the middle of pubs and restaurants and Albert Park. Tram to the city is really convenient and going the other way gets you to the beach. What more could you want?

Enjoyed our stay in this property. This is the perfect location if you like coffee and if you have a dog. There is a park across the road for the dog to play in. Yarraville is a very dog friendly area. The house was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Charlotte’s Country Cottage is fantastic. It is situated in vibrant Brunswick, between Lygon Street and Sydney Road. Yet, it is a super private and in a quiet location, accessed down a locked private pathway, servicing only 2 properties. I felt super safe, given I was at Charlottes Country Cottage by myself, out all day and returning alone at night. The Cottage was immaculate, ultra clean, exactly as represented by the photos. When next back in Melbourne, I definitely know where I’m staying.

I had a wonderful stay at Julie’s place. The home matched the listing perfectly—spotless, inviting, and stocked with all the essentials for a comfortable visit. It’s in a great location: conveniently close to local amenities, yet tucked away in a quiet and peaceful area. Julie was an excellent host—friendly and quick to respond to any questions I had, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch Airbnb in the area.

This was my second stay with Erin. I chose Erin's cottage again this year because I knew it would suit my needs perfectly. It has everything I needed for my weekend. And the bed is so comfy that I really didn't want to get out of it!! 😅 I'll be back again and again 🤗

Jillian was a great host and eclectic definitely describes the property, amazing artifacts from around the world and so many books. It is a much loved family home rather than a sparse let. Park opposite an added advantage. Close to trams, buses, shops and restaurants on Bay St. With a new grandson around the corner I'll definitely look at a return stay as soon as possible!
