Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Richmond

I am the Club Director for a volleyball club, and we rented this home as a place to stay for myself and the coaches while we were in town for a volleyball tournament. This was our second year staying in this home, and we absolutely loved it. The house is large, clean, and exceedingly comfortable. The private natural surroundings make this a luxuriously peaceful place to stay, and we would love to return each year if we have a tournament in the area, as long as it is available.

This house is perfect for a small family looking to visit the area. The location was great for us as we have family nearby and normally have to stay over 30 mins away when we come. The house is beautifully decorated with cute farmhouse vibes to fit the area. We did have a few cleanliness concerns but we made the host aware and she was outstanding with her responsiveness and willingness to resolve any issues that were brought to her. I truly believe the issue was with the cleaning company not completing their job to the best of their ability but I trust that the host is going to take care of it for future guests. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Chelsea is a wonderful host with great communication and we would love to stay here again when we return.

Best Airbnb in Richmond, super fast and helpful response time, and everyone loved the place!

This was our second stay at this house - very comfortable and convenient to all of the things to do in the Richmond area. Very nice, quiet, peaceful neighborhood. It will be our go to place to stay when visiting Richmond. Claude is an excellent host.

This was an AMAZING stay! A group of us came to Richmond to celebrate my 30th birthday and our plans consisted of staying in, cooking, watching tv, and playing board games. We wanted to feel at home and be comfortable cooking and spending time together. This Airbnb certainly delivered! The rooms were big and spacious, the beds were SO COMFORTABLE and we immediately felt at home. If we needed anything, it was likely already provided and if we had any questions, the hosts were very quick to respond. They certainly went above and beyond. It was well worth the money we paid and we enjoyed ourselves so much. The photos came out beautifully too! What an incredible house and even better facilities. We can’t wait to return — this time in the summer!

We moved to the area with our pets for a new job and luckily found Samira’s home for our extended stay till we closed on our new home. Large historic home with plenty of space and beautiful backyard. Home was very clean upon arrival and Samira was responsive with helping in us get checked in. We had one bedroom with full size bed and one bathroom with shower and tub available to us. Clean bedsheets and towels all provided along with some nice amenities. Washer and dryer downstairs in basement with detergent and dryer sheets provided which was very nice to have during our stay. All and all it was a comfortable and peaceful time spent in her home. Would highly recommend!

Hands down the cleanest and one of the best appointed Airbnb stays I have ever had. Patrick is a terrific host and very easy to work with. His apartment is a terrific value and in a peaceful and convenient area in Richmond. His yard was perfect for our small dogs. we can't say enough good about our experience!! Just stay here if it's open!

We loved staying at Nadine's place! Great location that is walkable to a lot of local things to do. The neighborhood itself is beautiful. The apartment was exactly as described and was quiet and peaceful. Loved having the snacks on hand. It was a great place to stay for a weekend. Nadine was super responsive, and even messaged me when she found my phone charger that I had left when we checked out! Highly recommend staying here - we'll be doing the same next time we're in town.

The apartment/condo is just as described. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of pots/pans and everything else I use in my kitchen. That was a treat. The beds and linens were very comfortable. The home was quiet and easy to come and go from. There is an electric fireplace in the master bedroom which made the room so warm and cozy. The parking was perfect, right outside the door and we never had a problem getting a spot. Chandra’s communication was punctual and very helpful. Our stay was over the Christmas holiday and it was so festive as she had a beautiful little Christmas tree with lights and ornaments and a wreath on the door; it made our Christmas feel more like home since we had to travel. The place was wonderful and highly recommend to other guests.

We love Church Hill, and Christine and Derk’s place was perfect for us for the weekend. They were very thoughtful, from having milk and creamer in the fridge, to leaving us a personalized welcome card that was incredibly sweet. Their home had everything we needed and then some. Beautiful space with lots of character, and in a beautiful location. Highly recommend!

It was a wonderful experience staying at Mary‘s place. When we walked in the place was immaculate cite with sweet touches. I would definitely recommend Mary’s place to anybody. I cannot wait to go back in the spring or summer.

Casey's place was one of the nicest lodgings on Airbnb that I've/we've had. The Henry Lofts are beautiful and equal to the home I am used to. Clean, beautifully decorated, near restaurants and walkable, and a very enjoyable stay. Casey was always responsive and when I didn't understand the heating Casey addressed the situation immediately. I plan to visit and stay regularly now when in Petersburg. He wrote a welcome note and a lovely Guidebook with a description of places to see and his rating. Thank you Casey!!

Such great hosts! Their space is perfect for long stays, equipped with everything you could need. They are super responsive and were always so kind and helpful! Would love to stay again if I’m in the area.

I stayed at Johnny's place for a month while I was relocating to Richmond, and it was exactly what I needed. It was a great location, especially since the commute to downtown was so easy. As an extended stay, he provided all of the amenities I needed and was very responsive whenever I needed anything. I highly recommend this place!

This place was WONDERFUL!!!! Clean, quiet, organized and comfortable. We had everything we needed for my husband and I to enjoy staying there in order to visit my extended family in Richmond. I was born and raised there but my left at age 23 though the rest of my family stayed in Richmond. The location at the airbnb was within walking distance of EVERYTHING!!! I would love to stay here from now on any time I am visiting family there....or even just to visit the VMFA as well as other places!
