Stayed here with family for a few days. It was clean and comfortable. I'm very picky about cleanliness and we were able to make ourselves at home immediately. It was also very peaceful. We even saw a few deer next to the house! It's walking distance to a supermarket, which is huge when you're on vacation and don't want to spend all day getting essentials! We would definitely stay here again!

Wow! What a wonderful place to spend a few days!! The Resort certainly lives up to its name. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed every detail that was meticulously prepared for us. The host was more than helpful and accommodating for our group of 5 which included two teenagers and my mom who benefited from the accessible floorplan. The weather was perfect for the pool too. Thank YOU and we cannot wait to return the next time we are visiting family in Richmond.

This house is soooo lovely! We were in town for our son's nearby wedding, and we wanted a real Richmond rowhouse experience. This Urban Escape didn't disappoint - it entirely lived up to its description and reviews. The rental was a splurge for us at this price point, but was everything we wanted and needed to accommodate family guests, very comfortable, beautifully designed and well appointed. Kristin (the host) was responsive and helpful and answered all my questions about right away. We love this part of walkable Richmond, and after the hubbub of the wedding we rotated through the front porch rocking chairs, the shady patio, and the upstairs balcony to recover.

This home is a true gem! It's beautifully designed with an abundance of natural light, creating a wonderfully airy and welcoming atmosphere. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, the peaceful sounds of birdsong were a delightful backdrop to our stay. The house was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for an enjoyable and comfortable visit. We were in town for a swim meet, and the location was perfect for a direct and easy drive to the Collegiate School Aquatic Center. This home provided an excellent and relaxing respite from a fast-paced long weekend. Highly recommend!

Stayed here with a small group of friends to attend a concert. The place is spacious and comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone. The back patio was also spacious and nice. Despite being centrally located and close to everything, it wasn't noisy and disruptive outside. Very walkable to just about everything including the bus system that goes east/west on Broad which is very convenient. Highly recommend.

We loved staying at this charming home right next to campus! It was super clean with lots of amenities. Beds were very comfortable too. The pictures really don’t do it justice! The area out back was perfect with the fire pit and large table, and the yard was just beautiful and well-maintained. Garry was a great host! We hope to come back soon!

Nadine was a wonderful host - easy to communicate with, proactive, and responsive. The apt was spotless, and every furnishing and decoration was first class. Lots of little amenities (welcome basket with snacks and waters, drinks in the fridge, bedside chocolates, a few toiletries. etc) were a nice touch. The queen bed was perfect for us - quality mattress w/topper (my wife kept talking about how well she slept). Very quiet neighborhood, yet close to all the activities we planned. Private back patio was a fantastically landscaped oasis for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Plenty of easy street parking. Couldn't have asked for a better lodging.

This home is located on a quiet, picturesque street within walking distance of many restaurants, parks, and attractions. Beautiful garden in the front. Sophisticated contemporary decor that is comfortable and functional. The owners clearly pay a lot of attention to detail and think of all the little things that travelers need. It was immaculate, bed was comfy, the towels were all soft, and there were supplies for a tea drinker like me. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would return.

I highly recommend Mary as a host and her beautiful cottage. I will definitely stay here again if I travel this way. She is a wonderful person and her place is immaculately clean, well equipped and peaceful.

Such great hosts! Their space is perfect for long stays, equipped with everything you could need. They are super responsive and were always so kind and helpful! Would love to stay again if I’m in the area.

Beautiful place in a nice neighborhood with a lot to do. Christy was very responsive and helpful with questions, and has a great book of recommended things to do during your stay!

This is truly a vacation spot. Serene and quiet you can feel your anxiety decrease. The inside is beautiful but the outside at night is magnificent. I cannot wait to return.

If I could have taken that bed home with me I would have, SO COMFY! The house was so clean and beautiful. I had a wonderful time there and really enjoyed the neighborhood. Lots to do, I was never bored. Nita was a great host too!
