House vacation rentals in Ribeira Brava

We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

The house was a wonderful place for us and our family. Plenty of room and the kitchen was very well equipped. The view was spectacular and the pool and patio were an excellent spot to relax.

The stay was amazing, Jose was very cooperative and helped when we needed things to be fixed or done. He helped us check in very smoothly despite our flight being delayed. He is an amazing host, and the house is incredible.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, pristine, peaceful home. Well equipped kitchen. Maria has thought of everything. The outside space was really great, plenty of space to enjoy the pool along with the outside kitchen BBQ. We walked to the botanical gardens which was 10 minutes away. Two small supermarkets and bakery 3 minutes walk from the house. We walked in Funchal several times and caught a taxi home. Lovely climate and beautiful surroundings.

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The house is extremely clean and matches the pictures perfectly. We even had freshly stocked groceries when we arrived which was a huge plus after 3 long flights. This location is so close to many delicious restaurants and the beach. We absolutely loved the pool and sun bed. 10/10 recommend!!! We already want to plan another trip back 🩷 THANK YOU!

From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed by Fernando. The villa is situated in a beautiful and quiet location, offering amazing views and a lovely pool that's perfect for cooling down. You can really feel the warm hospitality of the host right away. During our stay, we had a small issue with the toaster, and Fernando replaced it immediately — a great example of his attentiveness and care. We had a peaceful and relaxing time, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway. Please note that the ascent to the house is quite steep, but this is completely normal given the island's topography — and the views are well worth it! Highly recommended. Everything perfect! Agnieszka is a very attentive, attentive and warm hostess! The Airbnb was sparkling clean and equipped with EVERYTHING you could need. She even took the extra time to show the somewhat more delicate journey to the Airbnb, but that is not a problem later if you are a good driver.😉 In the middle of banana trees, you have your peace and can enjoy the roof terrace for yourself. Gorete and her daughter Joana made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. It's a beautiful apartment with everything we needed, and a fantastic view towards the sunset from the balcony. We're very keen hikers and were pleased to find two beautiful levada walks very close by.

Fantastic place at a great price. So many spaces to enjoy. Pristine condition. We really enjoyed the local restaurants and bars up the hill, amazing atmosphere. Very close to main roads so day trips are easy. Carlos was the perfect host, so many local recommendations and information. He was flexible when we wanted to check in some hours earlier than agreed. All the different keys were a bit confusing but otherwise loved the place.

Comfortable and very functional apartment located in Ponta do Sol, very well located for visiting the island. Accessible by car only Fanny was impeccable. She lives above the rented apartment. We didn't try the beautiful pool, which was at a good temperature but in the shade in the late afternoon when we got back. On the other hand, breakfast in the sun facing the sea view

We loved our stay at Lauren’s place! It’s quiet and peaceful, exactly what we needed. Be aware that, at least for us, there is nothing nearby walkable (resto, bar, groceries) and you always need the car! Lauren is a great host, super responsive, super kind, and her place was just perfect for us, being surrounded by nature and most of the time the only thing you hear is the river nearby. Highly recommend!!

Overall we had a great stay (8 nights) at Sofia's apartment. We loved the ocean view and the remote aspect, although the street that leads to it gets very busy (even more than we thought) during the day due to the nearby Anjos waterfall which, on occasion, can make parking a bit difficult (the apartment doesn't come with a parking sport so, as others mentioned, you need to park on the street). The check-in went smooth as the directions Sofia provided us were clear and easy to follow. Inside, the apartment is spacious, the 2 bathrooms were a big plus for us, and it had all the amenities we needed. The bed is very comfortable, though we switched the pillows and used the small pillows from downstairs as the main ones were a bit too big/stiff for us, after this change we slept great every night. The surroundings are silent, the only thing you hear are the ocean and the water running to the next-door banana plantation. We had a great time, Sofia was very kind, and we recommend this house!

5*. View is just stunning. Nothing compares. 10 mins away from Levada do Moinho. Very amazed by the location

If you’re looking for a quiet coastal cottage in Madeira this place is perfect. The view is beautiful with restaurants right around the corner. You’re steps away from the beach and beautiful hiking trails. The house is small but well kept and was very comfortable for two guests

A nice and clean apartment with a very nice view - we had a great stay :) Tip: approach the road to the house from above, as it is very steep and narrow - the parking lot is not for large cars😉

Scott’s place is a great place, not only because the back porch gave an EXCELLENT view, but there was a bus stop right outside the gate! Waking up and coming back to the gorgeous ocean view made our stay worth every penny!

We (two couples) had a wonderful week in this beautiful house. The house is a little more spacious than we thought. Nice view. Lovely swimming pool. On this slope, there were sometimes clouds, so the sun did not always show itself. For restaurants, you have to take the car. Hosts always responded quickly to a message from us. All in all recommended!

Everything was perfect! The host was super friendly. Check-in was smooth and welcoming, the place was clean and exactly as described. When we had a small issue, the host responded quickly and solved it right away. Check-out was just as easy. Would definitely stay again!

We have often rented apartments and houses, but such a well-equipped apartment with such a fantastic view has not yet been included. It was great that something like essential spices, tea, plastic wrap and paper towels was already on site, but even better that even dishwasher tabs and detergent seem to be here Standard matters, we haven't gotten to know it yet. The apartment is equipped with everything you need without being overloaded, which we really liked. The two balconies, or rather terraces, are just magically beautiful. The unrestricted view of the sea and the large palm tree that slightly overshadowed the half terrace were our absolute highlight. We thank you for a great time and lots of relaxation and will be very happy to come back if we are drawn to Madeira again. ❤️
