We occasionally rent our apartment with about 30 square meters of living space. It is centrally but quietly located in a beautiful old building attic (3rd floor) in the lively trendy district of Cologne Kalk. You will find a small and quiet retreat, but you will be in all of Cologne's top locations in no time, such as the Lanxess Arena (10 minutes), the trade fair (10 minutes), the cathedral (15 minutes), the old town (15 minutes), but also the airport (20 minutes) or the highway (5 minutes).

In this apartment with its own entrance you can feel completely comfortable. All floors are made of natural wood, the walls of clay brick, the room atmosphere very pleasant. On the southwest balcony you have a wonderful view over the wildly maintained property, the forest and the neighbor's fallow deer enclosure. Time out from everyday life in our historic accommodation. Idyllic secluded location on the edge of the forest. A car is needed as there is no connection to public transport. Wiehl center is about 3 km away with various shops, bakeries and restaurants. Heating is provided by radiators connected to our heat pump, which is powered by green electricity. Our feel-good oasis in the forest for nature lovers and people seeking silence. Spending the night at the edge of the forest is an indescribable experience. Our cozily furnished tiny house is the ideal place to relax and for a romantic getaway. Located in the middle of the Bergisches Land in a small and quiet village, you can enjoy the tranquility on a separate and fenced property of 1,500 square meters. With a bit of luck you can watch deer, foxes, owls and rabbits.

Apartment on the edge of the forest with sauna

Cozy apartment furnished with a lot of love in an old half-timbered house. Separate entrance, sunny terrace... only the birds "disturb" here. The property is at the end of a dead end road surrounded by forest and meadows. Ideal for hikers and bikers, it starts right outside the door. In the large garden behind the house you can lie in the sun as you please, sit comfortably under the walnut tree, use the sauna (10 for additional costs) or end the day by the campfire!

If you want to hike, cycle or slow down, you are in the right place in Windecker Ländchen. The circus trailer is located on a separate property behind our house on our sheep pasture. Private access & parking available. Every 30 minutes S-Bahn connection to Cologne (1 hour to the Koelnmesse).

Bamenohl Castle - Fireplace room apartment

The over 700 year old castle Haus Bamenohl is hidden behind old trees in the middle of an idyllic park in the heart of the Sauerland hills. As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. Whether it's hiking in the wonderful nature, cycling, sailing, golfing, skiing - Bamenohl is worth a visit.

The small apartment

Our "small apartment" offers a cozy and stylish overnight stay for up to two people. Here you can cook in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy the wonderful view of the Drachenfels from the dining table. The bathroom is located one staircase below. There is a spacious waterfall shower here. The "highlight" of the Gründerzeit villa, our large garden with old trees invites you to linger and relax.
