Hiking on the Eifelsteig or on the Rursee, Vogelsang, Rurseeschifffahrt, renting an e-bike, visiting museums and historic cities such as Monschau. After a short walk to get fresh rolls by the lake and eggs from the neighbor with free-range hens, we always have fresh coffee and considerations for the next exploration tour. In the evening, good restaurants within walking distance offer a great end to the day.

The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Great location also for several people, right on the lake, which is totally great in summer. The small pool and sauna are a highlight. The kitchen is basically well equipped, but a little short on cutlery when really full. The apartment was clean on arrival and looked well maintained. The other amenities are very good, there is even a washing machine and a dishwasher. The place is very remote, without a car it is probably difficult. Shopping facilities are available in the next village. For special needs, you can also get to Mayen quickly by car. But you have absolute peace and quiet and are in the middle of nature.

Beautiful little cottage, which is located in a campsite. We really had peace and quiet here and were able to relax well. There is everything you need in the house. The beds are comfortable, in the living room there is a large TV, where you can even watch Netflix. It has enough closets where you can store your private things. In the garden, there is a wooden barrel sauna and a large hot tub, which we used every day. At the campsite, there is a fine pizzeria where you can eat well. We had our own bikes with us and could ride to Koblenz in about 15 minutes. You can take great bike tours. Our recommendation would still be the city of Cochem, which can be reached by car in about 40 minutes. Here you can shop and drink a delicious wine.

The apartment is spacious, well furnished and the kitchen is also very fully equipped. The location of the apartment is well suited for excursions in the beautiful surroundings of the Eifel. Burkhard is very friendly and always easily accessible. The accommodation corresponds to the description and is ideally suited for a quiet holiday on the lake. By car, you can quickly get to Meschede and the surrounding area for small activities. All in all a very nice place in a quiet neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
