The teachers' residence, with the former one-room schoolhouse adjacent to it, is located on the edge of the small village of Strüth im Taunus, with its large garden. A few steps from the front door, hiking trails lead into nature. The Premonstratensian monastery is also worth a visit. In the village itself, there is a hairdresser and a restaurant, as well as a doctor and a pharmacy. All other shopping options (Lidl, Aldi, Rewe, DM, health food store, etc.) are located in Nastätten (about 10 minutes by car).

The Greiff apartment is located on the "Old Market Square" in the old town of St. Goarshausen at the foot of Katz Castle in the immediate vicinity of the world-famous Loreley. The small kitchenette is located in the living room and is available for your exclusive use.

"Cozy, cozy, totally great, it smells good of wood, like in a boat cabin," how our guests describe the extraordinary experience in the barrel. Our children have now flown the nest and we don't want to share the beautiful home with just the bats. We live in the romantic Gelbachtal between Westerwald and Taunus. Hikers and cyclists have now discovered the great location of the place. Our peaceful Gelbach flows into the Lahn very close by. Not far away are the towns of Nassau and Bad Ems (Bad Emser thermal baths only 20 minutes away). Our place is located on beautiful footpaths and bike paths.

Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

You will stay in a simple but cozy, small apartment (25 sqm) with a double bed (140 × 200 cm) and shower bath in Boppard city. It has a separate entrance and is located in the basement of our home. Free Wi-Fi access is set up. In the living room for 1-2 people there is no kitchen, but the possibility to prepare breakfast. A coffee pod machine, kettle and small refrigerator are available. Dishes and glasses are provided.

Holiday apartment in "Blauen Ländchen"

Our approx. 50 sqm apartment has one bedroom with a double bed, living room with pull-out day bed (80 cm or 160 cm x 200 cm) of couch and satelite watching. A kitchen with kitchenette, fridge, freezer, convection stove and dishwasher. A filter coffee machine, kettle, and toaster are also provided. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. Distance to Koblenz 30km, Wiesbaden 40km, Middle Rhine/Loreley 16km.
