Great place to stay for a few nights in the city! The location was ideal--quiet, yet super close to restaurants and nightlife. There was always parking available right outside the door. The apartment itself was spacious and gave the two of us room to spread out a bit. There is a nice covered patio out back but just a note--you can't see the sky from it or anywhere in the apt. So if you want to have a quick peek to see if the aurora is visible you have to leave the building. :)

Great two bedroom apartment.

Karl was always extremely responsive and allowed us to check-in early into the apartment. Our stay was a super pleasant one! The location was extremely close to the city center (in fact it is right smacked at the heart of the city dare I say) and walkable everywhere. The two self-reliant cats made our stay an even better one. We spent countless days playing with them! Highly recommend staying here.

this apartment is nice and practical, close to the center (10min in car) and to the biggest swimming pool in Reykjavik (10min by foot) it was neat and clean and it is à very good place to visit the city Hördur was nice and fast to answer when we got à problem. He fixed it as quickly as one could wish

Downtown gem with parking

This Airbnb was exactly as described. We loved our stay here. The apartment was super clean and very spacious. The host was EXTREMELY responsive and helpful. It is a little drive or bus ride to the city center but worth it if you want a nice cozy home to end your day with. The grocery store is a very short walk away making it perfect to pick up food and use all the cooking supplies provided. I would definitely stay here again.

Original old farm, hot tub, private garden

The house is much larger than expected and set in a lovely neighbourhood, close to a fantastic pool only 10 mins away. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the hot tub as the weather was pretty bad on our trip, but the location is great. Easy walk into town (30mins) or close to bus stops which run like clockwork! You can also walk 45 mins along the coast to the geothermal beach which we loved! The only thing I would say is to bring an eye mask in summer as the nights stay light and the curtains are not black out. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home and letting us feel like locals!

Clean spacious apartment style air bnb. Very comfortable place to stay at. It was really nice that it has parking available. I would recommend bringing someone when you take the trash out with you as the door locks behind you and we couldn’t find a way back in. Would stay here again.

The apartment is very cozy and well equipped. location is great, public transportation close by, grocery store is 2 minutes walking distance. I really enjoyed my time during the stay! Although not lucky enough to see the aurora, my week was cloudy and rainy.
