The cabin was new in February 2017. It is modern, functional and has a panorama view, a perfect basecamp for a variety of hikes and trips in addition to relaxing around the cabin. The area offers great possibilities for fishing trout in the mountain lakes and salmon in the Bjerkreimselva, listed as one of the best salmon rivers in Norway! Try also the Kodlom lake just outside the door! In the winter season, Stavtjørn is well known for its excellent cross country and alpine skiing terrain.

Designers house beside the baker in oldtown

In a quiet neighborhood by Pedersgata, this gem lies in the middle of an eldorado of eateries. The house is just the right size, newly renovated and furnished with original furniture classics from Scandinavia. In the house next door, baking is still done the old-fashioned way and on Friday there is a queue to secure the weekend's bread. Here you live close to the center with short distances. The airport bus stops nearby and the boats take you to the fjords with Prekestolen (pulpit rock).

Flott familieleilighet i første etasje med fantastisk utsikt til Lysefjorden. Nærmere fjorden kommer du ikke. Leiligheten har dobbel terassedør ut mot fjorden. Du får en følelse av å være "på sjøen", når du kommer inn i leiligheten. Stort soverom med dobbelseng, med mulighet for å lukke ned to ekstra senger hvis dere er mange som skal dele leiligheten. Benedikte-huset ligger ca ti minutters kjøretur fra Egersund sentrum og ca fem minutter fra E39. Vi har forsøkt å gjenskape gjestfriheten til Benedikte - den siste som bodde i det gamle huset - i dette moderne og helt nybygde gårdshuset i utkanten av tunet på Svindland gård. Her finner gjestene ro og idyll. På gården står det hester, vi har to hunder og et koselig påfuglpar som går fritt. Huset er topp moderne og velutstyrt.

Welcome to our family cabin. You can enjoy the nice view over the Lysefjord, special from the terrace. It is just a few minutes from the see, where you can take a bath. The cabin has a perfect location for a lot of hikings in the area: Preikestolen, Flørli, Kjerag and a lot of other places. It is only a few minutes by car to the Forsand quay, and departures for Flørli and Lysebotn.

The house is in a peaceful setting by the fjord surrounded by grazing animals. You can easily go fishing with the boat, go hiking or enjoy a quiet evening the hot tub. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå or to visit the local climbing park "Klatreparken Høyt og Lavt Nedstrand". It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
