Gamlahuset by the sea - near Stavanger

"Gamlahuset" from around 1880 is rented out. The house is located on a small courtyard in Gardsvågen on Talgje, 100 meters from the lake. Here there is a beach, and there are hiking trails around almost the entire island. From Gardsvågen it is 1 km to the speedboat dock. From here it is 20-50 min by speedboat to Stavanger. It is 35 minutes by car to Stavanger city center. At Talgje there are also opportunities for frisbee golf and sauna rental (Anker Gaard) and there is a sand volleyball court 1 km from the house.

Welcome to Stavanger and our very cozy apartment on the 2nd floor of our villa from 1913. The apartment consists of one bedroom (double bed), bathroom with bathtub/shower, toilet and sink. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, coffee maker, fridge and stove. In the living room there is a sofa bed that sleeps two people (150cm). You have access to free Wi-Fi. The apartment is 75 sqm. After you have used the city's facilities, this is a really great place to relax and catch your breath.

Magical place at the lake with a 8000 m2 garden and 120 m beach/shoreline. Perfect for relaxing, boating and fishing. At the lake there is a pavillion with a remarkable view where you can enjoy the sunset. A boat and canoe are available for free. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

Comfortable small apartment, 10 minutes from the city center. Bus every 15 minutes. Less an hour from Preikestolen. Charging for electric cars on the site, as well as fast charger just nearby. Located in scenic area of Stavanger but with a short distance to sights, nightlife and or the opportunity to just enjoy quiet charm. Ideal for 2 people who can share bed. Late check in? Pulpit Rock 10 minutes to parking. Read reviews from past guests. The view is striking, the place is shielded from traffic and noise. Sun until 10:20 pm on the longest days. Sit down for several days and go on great hikes and mountain peaks from the exit door. Five minutes hike away you can go swimming in a river with fresh mountain water. Short distance to Jørpeland city centre (10 min walk, 5 min to drive) with all necessary shops available.

The cottage is located in quiet surroundings and you're going to love our place because it's located right by the fjord. You can easily go fishing and hiking or just relax and enjoying the view. Furthermore, the quiet surroundings make it magical when you take a bath in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset. We highly recommend a hike to Himakånå. It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
