Our place has two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a double Kingsize bed. Bedroom 2 has three single beds. The bed in the loft is 120 cm wide. You will find a shower room with shower, washing machine, dryer and a sink. The toilet is in a separate room where you will also find a hand basin and the hot water heater for the cabin. The Sauna is in the main hallway just outside the shower room. The hallway leads down three steps to the dining/living room/kitchen with a doorway out to the terrace area. Outside you have a terrace overlooking the lake. You will also find the outside shower and several places around the cabin to sit depending on where the sun is and the time of day. The Jacuzzi is beside the parking places for the cabin facing towards the mountain views and the lake.

Knausen is located in the peaceful Østhusvik with lake views, walking distance to the swimming area, shop, hiking areas, marina, Rennesøyhodnet, etc. There is an outdoor area around the entire cabin where you can play ball games and activities or sit down on one of the terraces. It's a very private and quiet location, but still perfectly located in Ryfylke with all its breathtaking hikes nearby. In 2020 the bathroom and hall was totally refurbished, and a fiberoptic cable was installed with a fast wifi-connection.

The house is a farmhouse from 1907, it was completely renovated in 2019. The house is located in an open landscape surrounded by farms that run sheep, cows and horses. These surroundings create beautiful views from all around. On our farm we cultivate fruits and berries, and produce apple cider and aronia juice for sale. In addition, we have a small home bakery where we bake potato cakes. The house is located undisturbed in relation to both neighbors and the host family's home.
