Good chance of seeing the Northern Lights in winter, as it is dark around the cabin. The cabin has a fireplace, a large south-facing terrace, a fire pit, a toboggan, a lounge loft, and board games. Gaustablikk Skisenter is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and great experiences all year round.

Refrigerator, freezer, and new bathroom are the latest additions. Hallingstugu is located on a farm in active operation with cows, sheep and garden hens.
