The house is spacious and the garden is lovely. We stayed with two toddlers and they loved being able to play safely in the garden while we cooked in the kitchen. Rosaline was welcoming and quick to communicate. Thank you for letting us stay x

Harry was the perfect host ! Even though we didn’t meet Harry , We was arriving earlier so asked if we could check in early and it was no problem at all !! The house was perfect for us all including the dog clear instructions on how the heating worked and to get in the property ! Very fast at replying to any questions we had ! Perfect location as it’s only 5/10 mins to the beach/front , We have a lovely New Year’s Eve with our family there in Harry’s lovely home ! Thank you so very much Harry

This was our third stay at Louise and Andy’s place and once again it did not disappoint. We find it to be a perfect place for a cosy stay, and very convenient to get to Stockton town centre. The place is clean and tidy with everything you could need for a brief stop over. Great communication from the hosts - 5 stars.

This was our second time staying here this time with a new addition little Jim 🐾 so glad it’s dog friendly, we all had a great time staying again. so clean and homely. great hot tub with a nice view of the field full of lambs. left a lovely little hamper with snacks in both times. cute little notebook where everyone writes about their stay and recommendations! if you’re staying there’s lots of walks local and a short drive away. highly recommend visiting hamsterley forest. the cross keys pub for food is delicious and dog friendly no food on mondays though! lots of dog friendly food places around. overall a great place to stay in a great location. thank you so much for letting us stay emily. we will be back again.

Peaceful quiet location. Near train station. Clean . Generally well equipped, although a few bits of cutlery and crockery missing but nothing major. Comfortable beds, pillows not to my personal preference as very hard, but overall an excellent stay and I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend.

We stayed at the house as an extended family for 4 nights for our daughters wedding in the area. It's an absolutely beautiful place and perfect for holidays , celebrations , gatherings or a base for an extended stay. The house is great, the garden amazing , outside space to socialise and eat is super and it's peaceful with beautiful views. We will hopefully come back again it's an absolute gold gem!

Excellent value for money . Lovely decor, good parking, quiet location . Spacious and immaculately clean . Well maintained private garden . . Good internet connection. Large selection of tea/coffee available, cereals, toiletries and more. Good selection of take aways restaurant and local shops within walking distance . ASDA and petrol station . Slept well . Bath and shower in large spacious bathroom. Honestly couldn’t have asked for more . Thank you so much for your hospitality Will definitely be returning

Absolutely fantastic guest house in Esh Winning. Second time we've stayed at this property and definitely will be coming back in the future. Everything you want and need is provided. It truly is a home away from home. Anthony really goes the extra mile from providing milk for your arrival (also providing oat milk for those with allergies) to bath robes, slippers and miniature bath and shower gels in the bedrooms. Bathroom is absolutely immaculate. Never seen such clean grouting in a shower, nevermind in a holiday home!! 100% would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area! Thanks Anthony

Spacious modern clean apartment, exactly as described, very comfortable beds! Location was absolutely perfect, views from front window over harbour are stunning!! Only used the car once in a week!! Loved Whitby didn’t want to come home. Thank you ☺️ ❤️

We had a lovely time. It was like a home from home. Emma couldn't do enough for us. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of enticing cafes and restaurants in Bishop Auckland.

We’ve just had the most relaxing 3 day stay and cannot recommend Fiona’s home highly enough! Beautifully located and furnished with everything we needed. So comfortable in every way. My wife just loved the sheep right outside the window! Lovely touch as well with the home made scones, thank you!

Once again thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and nice bathroom and sitting room. Quiet area but within walking distance of the town centre.

I had such a lovely stay here! It was easy to get to and the parking was brilliant. The private entrance was a plus as well. The space was a perfect size for 2 guests and we had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook food at home :)

Telma and Steven were the perfect hosts. Friendly and welcoming but respecting our privacy. Their garden apartment was even better than the pictures. The off-road parking on a quiet street was appreciated. The bed was so comfortable and I loved the big fluffy towels. The seafront is a short walk down a steep hill. In short, if I am looking to stay in Scarborough again, I will definitely be back.

Fantastic 3 night stay. Fully equipped and excellent location. Would, without hesitation, highly recommend. Second bedroom is a little small, but perfectly adequate. Two bathrooms is a bonus. We will definitely return. A Super Host for a reason. Thank you

I had a fantastic stay at Forge Cottage with my dog! The location is amazing – ideal for exploring the Yorkshire coast and moors, with so many great walks right on the doorstep. The cottage itself was super comfy, and had everything I needed. Peaceful, cosy, and perfect for a solo traveller with a dog. Ray was a brilliant host – friendly, helpful, and full of great local tips (we did all his walk suggestions and loved them!). Can't wait to come back – highly recommend!

Beautiful clean high quality cottage, perfect for 2 people, greeted by John and Lyndsey, such friendly hosts without being intrusive. Very welcoming to receive a some vital items on arrival like wine, milk, bread, butter, jam and more. Fabulous location in a quiet village, can only hear the birds tweeting. Perfect for walking right on the cinder track. Two pubs within walking distance. Would definitely recommend. We will be returning there some day in the future. A beautiful apartment, the location is great, with the sea at the end of the street. Very comfortable bed and powerful shower. Nice big telly for when it rained one afternoon. We parked right outside the apartment and there seemed plenty of space for this. Nice, quiet and safe street, 10 min walk to the amusements on the foreshore.

Very nice place for a few days trip. The apartment is very cozy, well arranged. There is everything you need and a lot of space. We highly recommend this place.

We had a lovely 3 night stay with our toddler. The view is beautiful! The house had everything we needed and was spotless. We took a walk to find the waterfall and although very steep it didn’t take too long, even with a 20 month old in tow. The pub down the hill was also very lovely. The nearest shop was about a 10 minute drive away but wasn’t a problem. We visited Whitby, Scarborough and Robin Hood’s bay. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful scenic stay :)
