Had a lovely stay at the Old Watch House. Great views of the harbour. Staithes is a beautiful place. You do need to be fit to handle the hill out of the village and also paths around the village itself to get the best out of the area. Of the house itself it was everything we needed the only thing I would ask is that Clare considers replacing the sofas in the sitting room. Well used and quite uncomfortable after a short period of time in them. However the house was clean and well appointed. Bathrooms were lovely and clean and modern. We were very happy with the booking and house. We had a lovely family holiday with our teenage kids.

We had a wonderful stay at the Boiling House. The house has a lovely homely feel, was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. David was a really welcoming host, giving us a quick tour of the house before leaving us to it. The bottle of Prosecco was a well appreciated touch! We'd love to return. Thank you David!

had a great 3 nights at Bridget's, it's ideally situated half way up the hill so convenient for going up or down into village, the cottage itself was v comfortable for the 5 of us and a dog, had all amenities and stuff you need for a holiday stay, thank you Bridget

Josh's house was lovely- lots of space and thoughtfully well-equipped. Josh was great at keeping in touch and ensuring we had a good stay. It was warm and comfortable and we would definitely return to such a special place.

Lobster Cottage was a lovely, cost cottage in a great location. The cottage was well equipped and has everything we needed! It was a short walk from the beach and Cod & Lobster, would definitely recommend to friends and family. The only thing to be aware of is the parking for those less able to get around as this was up the hill from the cottage and it could get busy on the streets (I think would apply to most accommodations in Staithes!). Thanks for a great stay!

Beautifully Renovated Cottage next to Beach

Bay Tree Cottage is a beautiful old cottage which has been modernised to a very high standard, whilst remaining sympathetic to the age and location of the property. Everything was high quality, super comfortable and very well equipped from cutlery to games, bed linen to towels, mugs to cleaning materials -everything was perfect. Four of us stayed at Bay Tree Cottage and loved our walks on the beach, visiting the (very) local Cod and Lobster, going out in a local boat trip, as well as visiting other places in the local area. It was a hike up the village to the car park at the top of the village but got us fitter and the views were so spectacular we didn’t mind this and the lack of cars made for a peaceful stay. Kevin contacted us before & just after arrival, making sure all was ok and also soon after we’d left to check we’d enjoyed our stay. This is, without doubt the best Air BnB we’ve stayed in and we can’t recommend Kevin as a host and his beautiful cottage highly enough.

We stayed here for a few days and it was really good. Great accommodation and beautifully presented. Fab location in a busy town with lots of pubs and eating places. Fantastic for walking on the nearby North Yorkshire Moors. We will definitely visit again in the future.

Had a fab time a Driftwood Cottage , location is spot on , a couple of steps from harbour . The cottage is spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished, excellent quality bed linen . Cottage has everything you could possibly need and more , we thoroughly enjoyed our stay x

This place was beautiful and it exceeded our expectations! We wanted a lovely and affordable sea side location and this just blew us away. It was walking distance from the sea and local shops, and not to mention the place itself was stunning! There was a big open plan kitchen diner with a huge garden with outdoor seating that had the pizza oven and open fire to use! The living room was perfect & the bedrooms were huge with very comfy beds and lots of storage. It was clean, sleek, modern yet homely and quirky! We all had the best time. Thank you so much.

Lovely, cozy little place in a nice, peaceful location with convenient walking access to Whitby via the Cinder Trail, and a very short drive from local Supermarket. We appreciated the pool. We also enjoyed ducks wandering around the site, and hearing the hoot of an owl in the evening.

Lovely house, parking right outside, nice quiet location, house clean and tidy with lots of little things like tea and coffee available. The furniture was comfortable and good Freesat tv. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and equipment you could need. The bedrooms were light, airy and comfortable with nice bed linen. The bathroom was adequate but the shower let it down slightly, although it was usable it was a bit tight for anyone tall. I can’t see how any improvement can be made as the bathroom is quite compact, this issue by no means detracts from the overall high standard of the house. Outside the house overlooks the river with nice lawns, a picnic bench and communal barbecue. Just over the river lies the railway line, you can hardly hear the trains but get to watch the steam trains going past. The road is a dead end with no passing traffic other than other residents so very quiet. All in all ‘top notch’.

Excellent property, very clean and well equipped. Phil and Elaine went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed are Easter family get together. They are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and always available to assist if required. The property is quiet and peaceful but within a short distance of many attractions and things to see and visit. Would definitely recommend.

A great place. We had the mother in law with us so the downstairs bedroom and shower room were brilliant for her. Easily accessible with a lovely host. We will stay again when up visiting next time! Thank you Cate.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and fantastically located cottage. Mitch was freindly and responsive, even given us prior warning of a potential power cut. The house was well equipped, warm and clean. I would recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved our New Year break at Curious Crab. The village is idyllic and the cottage was beautiful. We all felt relaxed and at home. Very relaxing place to stay, cosy, warm and comfortable, very quiet too. Lovely to see the horses around and about. The staircase up to the first floor bedroom is narrow but worth the climb as the bed was so comfortable.

Lovely location. Lots of character in the house. Very homely and everything we needed for the weekend was available. The only real downside was the fact it had single glazing so felt a bit nippy at times and not all the electric heaters were possible to turn on at your own leisure or at least it wasn’t clear how to do it. However, the electric fire downstairs sufficiently heated the living room and kitchen and created a cosy atmosphere.

Caroline is a fantastic host. Her home was perfect. It had everything we needed and more. Some lovely small details that make it extra special on arrival- welcome pack, well stocked (cleaning materials, dog throws and bowls etc). Fantastic location. We loved how peaceful it was at the cottage and the close proximity to the beach. We would definitely recommend staying at Paddy’s cottage and hope to be able to return there in the future.

Sarah is by far the best host we have ever had. we have used Air b and b for 5 years. Sarah is very accomadating to any issue arising and communicates very well. Saltburn is a lovelly place to go and the house is within a few minutes walk into the centre so very convenient We have been 4 times and always a pleasure to stay at her house.
