Lake houses in Red Cedar Lake

Eric meet us when we arrived and gave us a review of his property. We had 5 vehicles with our UTV trailers and there was plenty of room. The home was spotless and we found it easy to find everything we needed in the kitchen. Plenty of towels with very clean bathrooms. The gas grill does need some attention. We ended up getting some charcoal and grilling on the 2 other grills instead. There was 6 couples and we all said we would want to come back here again!! Thanks for your hospitality.

We have stayed at the FishTale lodge three times. Every stay has been has been great. Tom wants his guests to enjoy their stay and it is incredibly evident. We look forward to coming back next year!

Our stay was wonderful! It was a men’s weekend for fishing, grilling and time with God. Home was clean, filled with amenities we needed, close to the water and provided a peaceful place for the weekend! Definitely would recommend to others! Monea was always responsive and made sure we felt comfortable during our stay! 5 stars, hands down!

This is our 3rd year staying here and continue to love it! It always has so many toiletries and amenities that is so appreciated. The hosts are always very responsive and flexible with an added check in day last minute. Our group of friends take an annual outing to remember friends of ours that are no longer with us. This year we chose Stephanie's listing. It was very nice, just as described. It was roomy enough for all of us to hang out and do our own thing or gather together. We found ourselves going to some of the local restaurants and establishments that were recommended, and even took a side trip into Chippewa Falls. We had a little bit of trouble working one of the thermostats but it could have been us. This would be an awesome location to come hang out at in the summertime! We really appreciate all the responsiveness and hospitality, and hope to book with you again!

This is a large, beautiful, well equipped, well kept, extremely clean place with lots of amenities. Carolyn was quick to respond to any questions and concerns. The nearby town of Birchwood has a few restaurants and a small grocery store. About 30 minutes from the Ice Age trail segments in the blue Hills/Tuscobia area.

This was my second visit to Deb's place and I'll be planning another in the fall. I love how cozy and homey her place is. Thank you for thr great stay!

We loved staying here ! Beautiful area! Drove to the boat landing not far away to enjoy a day of ice fishing!

Cherri is very responsive which was much appreciated. The place was a little hard to find at no fault of the owners, but once we did we were set for the week. We had a boat lift to use which was a value add for us. There are several stairs down to the lake but the view at the top is gorgeous. Great restaurants to boat and the sand bar is not far to boat the grandkids out to enjoy the lake. Our dog was right at home too. Thank you Cherri and Paul for your place for the week, we had a very nice time.

Awesome host! Was only there for a quick visit with coworkers but this would be a PERFECT retreat for an outdoorsy family. Will book again!

Thank you again for another beautiful stay Bethany. The weather was warm enough this time where we got to enjoy smores on the campfire and sat on the dock to watch the beautiful northern lights play across the sky. Our large three-generation family group had plenty of room to comfortably spread out between the somwhat dated but clean, homey cabins. What worked out great for us was that the three families with children ages 1-12 and earlier wake up times were able to use the larger space while the smaller cabin accomodated the couples without children and allowed a bit of liesurely vacation sleep-in time. We prepared and ate our communal meals in the larger kitchen and spread beyond the big table to plentiful seating on the large deck. The view from the deck was lovely and the walk to the lake and dock easy going for all ages. We swam every day either from the sandy, pebbly entry to the water or from jumping off the dock and swimming out to the swim pad. The water was clean and relatively free of weeds close in to the dock area. The lake was peaceful and we made plenty of use of the pontoon, canoe and sit-on kayak, caught fish, and never felt crowded. Katelyn was super to work with.

Love coming here in winter to get away around the holidays. We always make one big family meal and the wide kitchen is perfect for many cooks in it! Great, dog-friendly bar nearby to play pool as well.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Grove! There were so many things that they have thought of to make you feel at home during your stay. Our kids LOVED the kid kayaks! We enjoyed watching them in the calm bay or paddle boarding with them. So much fun for our entire family! We will be back.

Really beautiful spot. The home had many areas for groups to gather and a lot of fun things to do. Beds were comfortable & the kitchen was great.

Stayed over New Year’s Eve with friends. Marla was very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed the place and especially the hot tub. Would stay here again.

Great cabin, lots of good space. We used the garage space but it was chilly since it is only a single auxiliary heater. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Voyager village amenities are great too, and the club house is an easy walk. The hiking trail right out back is very convenient. We’d happily stay here again!

Beautiful cabin! Lovely bedrooms and comfortable beds. Kitchen was well-stocked with a variety of spices and the biggest jar of peanut butter I’ve ever seen. The setting was lovely, with the snow and sunshine. One quick caution: always remember the photographs make everything seem larger. While the space was more than adequate for 5 adults and two children, it didn’t feel as large as the photos. That isn’t anyone’s fault, it’s just the nature of photography. It was really nice to have the downstairs to “spread out” in, and in the summer, the whole outdoors….

Our girls weekend at Hillary’s was lovely! So peaceful and relaxing! We spent hours at the fire pit. We enjoyed the resort amenities. The place was so adorable. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the Danbury area. I really loved that there was a piece of artwork from the owner hanging in the living room. That was a cool touch! Thanks Hillary for a fantastic stay!

This was a great gem of a place! Amanda was very responsive with questions and made us feel welcomed! Plenty of room and a great place to come back to after a long day of snowmobiling.

Sarah was very responsive and helpful throughout the checking-in and checking-out process. The property is right on Big Fish Golf Course, is clean, has ample room, and is perfect for a getaway weekend with friends or family. We hope to use this property annually for our golf trip.
