Great peaceful place and breathtaking landscapes for short walks. Short driving commute to Munich and Lake Constance. Incredible place for New Years stay. Host was really helpful and our well trained dog was welcome. Will definitely go back

We decided to book at very short notice. Nevertheless, Manuela welcomed us very openly and accommodated our wishes very flexibly and kindly. The Waelderhaus Apartment is located in beautiful nature and elevated position on the slope. The views from the private balcony into the Schwarzenberg Valley and the surrounding Bezauer and Mellauer mountains are fantastic. Also and especially in the fall. The apartment is equipped with everything a family with teenagers needs, but is also suitable for larger groups (presumably up to 10 people). The region offers many opportunities to explore the mountains. Even though only a few cable cars were open at the end of October. We made great use of this (also thanks to the included Bregenzer Wald guest card, which is a free use of the cable cars) and recovered very well. We will be happy to come back.

Martin met us at the house- we had texted to agree on the arrival time. He gave us a tour of the apartment and the farm. There's a self service farm store where we got fresh veggies and eggs each day which were wonderful! We were allowed to take a small pitcher of fresh milk from the dairy cow tank daily too which we used for cooked things like oatmeal and hot chocolate- wonderful. Great quiet spot on an organic vegetable/dairy farm. Apartment is up 2 flights of stairs, roomy. Great big windows. We are a family of 4 but it could easily sleep 6. 2 huge beds (similar in size to King in USA) and 1 single bed but they can add more singles. We did a lot of our own cooking and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Martin was friendly and helpful and also told us about hiking trails that start right from the farm which we walked and were through some lovely forest. Great location only 15 min from Uberlingen. In the other direction is Stockach which has a great freibad (outdoor pool) that was less than 2 Euros entrance per kid. Several times we dropped out kids off here to swim while we went for a walk (hiking trail from pool too). Uberlingen is beautiful with lots of fun shops, great promenade for walking, biking trail leads all the way around the Bodensee Lake. We rented bikes a few days and biked to nearby Meersburg and the open air stone age village. I recommend both. Also fun to take the ferry for a day trip to Konstanz and other areas.

We all felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is appealing, cozy, lovingly and individually furnished, the kitchen-living room is the heart of the whole. The historic farmhouse is located in a beautiful setting, surrounded by forest and meadows, blooming trees, rippling Brünnlein. The feather cattle, the cats walk around the farm and the adjacent meadows. The various different excursion and hiking opportunities are easily accessible by car, but also on foot or by bike, even after what you want to do. Peter is a very friendly and helpful host, had great tips and hints, was always easily accessible. In past reviews, it was stated that certain costs, such as tourist tax, should have been paid. You always have to pay tourist tax in Germany and Austria, whether on Sylt, in the Black Forest or in the Salzburger Land, this is completely normal! All in all it was a lovely week, thank you!

Our stay in Oberstdorf with Martina was very nice - the apartment is very clean, comfortably furnished and Martina as a host is very warm and always trying to make everything so that the guests are well! We felt more than comfortable and will definitely be back! Thank you for a great stay!!!

When we arrived, we were greeted very warmly by Karin. There was also a delicious welcome greeting on the table and many utensils (high chairs, baby bed, toys) were prepared for our little daughter. The apartment as well as the rest of the courtyard and garden are modern and furnished with a lot of love. The street on which the courtyard is located is unfortunately very busy, but when the windows are closed, you can hardly hear anything. We liked to spend the sunny evenings outside on the small balcony in front of the door. Karin always gave us good food and excursion tips. Our daughter loved the garden with the playground equipment and the animals. We felt very comfortable and welcome at the Mooshof.

I highly recommend this room. Due to the elevated location, you have a direct view of Lake Constance and beautiful evening sun shining into the room. Everything we needed was there. The house was easy to find, and check-in was very well described and very straightforward. I also appreciated that if anything was unclear or I had any questions, there was always a nice answer very quickly. I would like to thank you, Heike, and your team!

I booked Christian's place to spend a few days in the snow with my kids. The apartment is cozy, functionally furnished and offers sufficient storage space for winter clothing. When there was a lot of new snow after our arrival, we used the garden to build a snowman. Christian gave us tips on where to best find a toboggan hill. There is a totally lovely dog (Oskar), who moves partly freely around the house and who my daughter and I immediately fell in love with. Even my son, is very reserved towards animals, started throwing snowballs for Oskar. We will definitely be coming back!

Very nice apartment, frendly and very responsive host.

The house is big, nice,clean, has everything you need in the house, the hosts respond to letters quickly! I didn't like that the late check-in is 15.00 and early check-out at 10.00! We were lucky that on this day when we left there were no tenants and for an additional payment we agreed with the host that we would leave 2 hours later at 12.00!

It’s totally the paradise not only for the handicapped travelers but also for the aging. Along the way to the flat, the scenery is beautiful. The flat is tidy & cozy. We had everything in the flat. Gabriel, the host, is very friendly & welcomed us in person. Also he introduced the related information to us. Michfild, his mother, came to help when we needed. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The only pity is the weather. However it wouldn’t bother us to stay. We enjoyed so much in the balcony. It’s the best accommodation I ever had during my traveling around Europe. I would like to come back in the near future. Highly recommend to the people who like the nature. From the moment we arrived, we felt instantly welcomed. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the little touches that make a stay special—like flowers and a handwritten welcome note. The location was perfect: quiet and peaceful, yet just minutes from great restaurants and sights. It felt less like a rental and more like a cozy home away from home. We honestly didn’t want to leave—and we’ll definitely be coming back!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. Since we were traveling by bike, the apartment was very conveniently located. We were able to start in all directions and were in Friedrichshafen am See in 15 minutes.

We stayed with our dog for 4 nights at Daniela's. Unfortunately, Daniela was not present during our stay, we felt very comfortable in the really nice and well-equipped apartment. However, we were able to communicate with Daniela at any time. We'd love to come back, maybe at a different time of year.

We had nice days in Scheidegg and were very comfortable in Sascha's apartment. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the surroundings were excellent for enjoying the winter. Sascha is a courteous and friendly host. Thank you.

We have never experienced such a well-equipped apartment as this one. It really had everything you could ever need, especially in the kitchen. The apartment is very nice and cozy and really has a great view of the mountains. Communication with Andreas was also always very nice with pleasantly short response times. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back.

We had a great time at the Alex's place. The view from the place was amazing. It was well connected through public transport. Most importantly, Alex was amazing. He took time out to help us with anything we needed and gave some brilliant recommendations. We felt at home here and he played a big part in that. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

We felt super comfortable and almost at home at Olaf and Corinna's place from the beginning! There are really no wishes left unfulfilled, everything is available! Even various coffee and super many different teas, juices and water, fresh eggs and milk - everything is available free of charge. This is really not self-evident and we were very happy about it. Also for dogs and babies there is everything your heart desires! A very great place to stay in a very nice and quiet neighborhood that we highly recommend! It's very worth staying there:-)!
