Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ratschings

We (2 couples) had a wonderful weekend at Christina's place. The apartment is great, very clean, cozy, well equipped (towels of various sizes, kitchen with spices, dish towels, many glasses, etc., additional blankets, information material for activities, restaurants, etc.) and with parking. Just around the corner there is a nice bakery. For restaurants, however, you need a car, about a 10-minute drive and then you are already in downtown Sterzing. In summer you can use the small garden in front of the house. There is no dishwasher, but you have a freezer available next to the fridge. The guest toilet (no shower) is very convenient next to the spacious bathroom on the 1st floor (with bath and shower). Christina welcomed us warmly after she described the arrival to us. We'd love to come back and highly recommend this place!

Britta's very likeable, uncomplicated and unobtrusive appearance made it difficult for us to say goodbye on the day of departure. From the first minute of our vacation, we were in feel-good mode. The kitchen amenities make the heart of a self-catering and hobby cook beat faster. Is there anything more beautiful than sleeping restfully on vacation, despite unfamiliar beds? No problem with Britta. Cozy living room with tasteful furnishings, a balcony with heavenly mountain panoramic views. And where else are you greeted in an apartment by the host with two beautiful bouquets of flowers? We will be back! Thank you for this wonderful stay.

The most amazing place we have ever stayed, we cannot recommend Felix and Sabine's place anymore. We stayed here for a few days as we did different hikes in the Dolomites and was a perfect base. Within walking distance of bars and restaurants in Brixen. The house (and hottub) is fantastic, the kitchen was fully stocked and we felt like we were at home. We will be back!

A great experience staying on a working farm. Margareth was a wonderful and friendly host. She gave me lots of local recommendations for nearby walks and restaurants upon my arrival. The apartment was big, so my pup had plenty of space to roam around. Would love to stay here for longer!

The apartment is located in an extremely well-maintained residential complex with an unusual and beautiful green area. It is modern and tastefully decorated with a lot of love and is in a great condition. We especially enjoyed the beautiful weather-protected terrace. We also greatly appreciated the narrower terrace on the back with the wonderful view towards the village of Tyrol and the 2 comfortable seating areas. The location of the apartment is optimal – pleasant ambience, the expressway to Bolzano is quickly accessible, 5 minutes' walk away a good butcher (Siebenforcher), where you can also buy cheese, bread, milk, wine, etc. (a more relaxed alternative to the supermarket for small items). The city center and the Tappeiner Promenade are within walking distance and an underground garage where you can park in a relaxed way – what more could you ask for! Birgit is a great host – always easy to reach and very nice. Thank you – we will be happy to come back.

Definitely a standout and highlight of two months in Europe. Brigitta and Paul are lovely caring humble hospitable hosts. The apartment is lovely. The location is just spectacular. We enjoyed delightful walks into the mountains on both sides of this idyllically located accommodation, one by a cable car ride to the best views we’ve seen. Highly recommended to those who love a refreshing rural and mountainous holiday.

We spent wonderful days in the Stachelburg. The apartment is as described, very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Even with a freezer, dishwasher and a modern beautiful bathroom with walk-in shower and washing machine. We felt right at home after the warm welcome from Elfriede and the two friendly house dogs:-) You can sit comfortably in the restaurant garden and end the day with Elfriede's South Tyrolean cuisine. There are countless excursion and hiking opportunities in the area. Nals and the Stachelburg are a wonderful place! Thanks to Elfriede and the whole team. We will be happy to come back.

We have stayed at a lot of air bnb’s and the most noteable thing that put Robert’s place ahead of the rest, besides the amazing view and beautiful property, was how welcoming and generous he was. In addition to great recommendations, he went the extra mile to greet us with a thoughtful basket of goodies upon arrival. The property was also impeccably stocked with everything you could possibly need from first aid kits, fully stocked kitchen, and extra toiletries making our stay comfortable and stress free. It is clear the host put a lot of care into creating a great experience for his guests. We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back!

I stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The apartment has everything that we needed during our stay. Spacious apartment with big bathroom and bathtub, also complete amenities as description, including the kitchen with all cooking utensils, dishwasher, coffee machine etc. Monika also gave local recommendation for short drive tour to the Dolomites which absolutely wonderful. The apartment was clean and tidy with a lot of sunlight. The house is close to restaurants and the highway but was also very quiet. We were very happy the location. Communication with Ruth and Jonas was easy, and the check-in and out process was straight forward . I would definitely recommend this place.

The apartment was clean, neat, and very well-maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the utensils needed for cooking, making it feel just like home. The owner was very responsive and quick to reply to any questions or concerns. But the highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the view—waking up to the breathtaking sight of the Alps was truly unforgettable. It was definitely a good time to relax and a great place to stay.

This was one of our best stays so far. The place offered a fantastic view of the mountains and the city,sunset views are mystical and must not be missed. The house was spacious, cozy and had all the required amenities. Cristina and Ernst were great hosts and made us super comfortable. They were quick in their responses and humble in their approach. By far the best Airbnb we have stayed👌👌❤️❤️ Right from the communication, attentive hosts, absolutely pristine surroundings, house full of luxury amenities like whirlpool ( jacuzzi ), sauna, cold bath, hey stack bed and the sumptuous breakfast, it had everything one could possibly ask for.. And Longiaru, such beautiful place, it’s a trekkers paradise.. We had decided to do lots of hikes during our visit to Alps & had read about Tre Cime and Ceceda being the treks to do but Nicolas had mentioned about couple of good hikes around his place and glad we did these…. His villa is right on 2 trails - 1) we went to Utia Vaciara & Munt de Fornella which give great views of Mount Putia and 2) Utia Ciampcios & Megaldes which give stunning views of Puez mountains with breathtaking scenery and blooming wildflowers all along the trails.. Thank you Nicolas for suggesting these trails and we loved them so much that we didn’t go to Tre cime or Ceceda even though we had the car.. Ciao, Sachin

Rosaria's apartment was perfect in everything: cleanliness, super order, and equipped with any appliance and utensil. The host was really essential for our vacation, thanks to her directions we visited beautiful places and we were prepared for every trip. You can see that he loves his territory! Our two dogs also loved this vacation, we will be back, thank you for everything!!!

The apartment is well located for both hiking in the surrounding area and access into Innsbruck. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The private outdoor terrace had tremendous views and was south facing yet still secluded. Small, well appointed supermarket 10 minutes walk away. Overall I would highly recommend.
